The film also features local groms like Rick Raff of Kailua at 15 years old bookending Pipeline rides by Mainlander surfing hall-of-famers John Peck and Dick Catri. Side note: the film screened for the first time in Hawai'i, at McKinley High School auditorium, 50 years ago on July 15, 1965.
