- At a creepy chiropodists' social night, Bob and Margaret encounter a couple who are rapturous about the new planned community where they now live.
- Bob's old friend Clive, a real drunken slob, has been dumped by his wife. Despite Margaret's objections, Bob lets him stay for a few days.
- When Bob and Margaret take a trip to New York, a storm re-routes their flight...straight to Toronto.
- In this story of neighbourhood social angst, Bob is having a complex burglar alarm installed by Graham, a sad, lonely man whose confidence is lifted immeasurably by this rare sale to Bob. That evening, new neighbours move in next door to Bob and Margaret, who decide to make a point of being friendly with them. The new neighbours turn out to be friendly Americans, Kitty and Larry. Kitty is French Canadian and Larry is a TV antenna's salesman from Miami. They have two dysfunctional children and a dog who has been in quarantine for too long. Bob and Margaret, intimidated at first, quickly warm up to the family and make a point of inviting them out for dinner, to a horrible American style theme restaurant where nothing goes well. To make matters worse when Bob and Margaret return home from their horrible dinner, the new alarm is ringing and the whole neighbourhood is out in force, screaming and arguing.
- When Margaret's old school chum comes into her clinic, she invites the woman and her husband to dinner.

- It's time for the annual dental convention, but Bob isn't keen on going when he sees that Bernard Wiggins, a "loud-mouthed big shot" colleague from his student days, is a featured speaker.
- It's Halloween. It is also Bob father's birthday and his mother wants to celebrate by visiting his grave. Bob is not comfortable with this and tries to get out of it, but can't because his brother Peter is away making another one of his cooking shows. Bob receives a call from a woman who tells him that her husband, an old school friend of Bob's, has died while repairing his roof. Bob cannot remember this man and, as he hates funeral's anyway, does not want to go. He relents under pressure from Margaret. At the funeral he finds that virtually no one at the funeral remembers the fellow either. When they leave, they notice a man sitting alone. The man ends up getting a lift from Bob and Margaret and talks to them about the fragility of life and coping with death. It turns out that he is not just an upset mourner, but an insurance salesman looking for customers. Somehow, Bob finds wisdom in his patter and learns to accept his mortality better through the reality of statistical probability.
- While listening to the radio, Bob observes his charmless young assistant Penny, inspiring him to recite odes about youth and innocence.
- Bob's brother Peter is a successful chef who has a new cooking show. He and his wife Rosie are traveling to India for it and need a favor from Bob and Margaret before they go.

- The police arrive at a crime scene. A man has been found asphyxiated, apparently while watching a copy of "Goofy Hockey Bloopers". The body is taken to the morgue where doctors perform a thorough autopsy to investigate. Was he strangled by an acquaintance? Or did he die through some sort of poisoning due to environmental pollution?
- A quiet night at home...unfortunately it falls on a night when there's absolutely nothing to watch on TV.
- Bob and Margaret have been invited to Neil and Moira's for dinner...or so they think.
- After Bob and Margaret have a near-death experience when Bob nearly crashes their car, they decide to live their lives more fully.
- After Bob and Margaret's home is robbed, they file a police report and an insurance claim. Bob tries to get Margaret to lie on the insurance claim so they can get bigger/newer/flashier/fancier high-tech replacements. Margaret feels that this is dishonest and leads to high insurance premiums; she'd rather get comparable replacements and install a home security system. Meanwhile, the thieves watch for empty shipping boxes left for the trash collector.
- Bob and Margaret decide to get fit and, after fruitless attempts at aerobics and workouts, they decide on a friendly game of badminton against Cathy and her latest boyfriend, Ken.
- A new dentist opens a practice right across the road from Bob's and steals all his customers. His receptionist also defects, so Bob hires Penny. But things are not as they seem.

- For the first time in Canadian history, 15 of Canada's most award-winning and celebrated independent animators have come together to create a collaborative animated film. Yellow Sticky Notes - Canadian Anijam is an innovative and global approach to animation filmmaking and unites animators from coast to coast, from Vancouver to Halifax and all parts in between, to self reflect on one day of their lives using only 4x6 inch yellow sticky notes, a black pen and animation meditation. Featuring animation from the original Anijam creator Marv Newland along with Oscar® winners Alison Snowden and David Fine and Academy® Award nominees Cordell Barker, Janet Perlman, Chris Hinton, and Paul Driessen. To create the film, the animators were asked to self-reflect through animation on personal and global events that impacted one day of their lives. Each of the animators created their sequences independent of knowing what the other participants were creating. Starting with a 'to do' list written on the day of a life-altering event, the animators transitioned from text to imagery by utilizing 'animation meditation' to create a visual animated poem representing how their lives were affected by that pivotal day. In the end, the thousands of sticky note drawings link together to create a dynamic and inspirational animated film that connects the human spirit while celebrating individual artistic expression with the goal of inspiring future generations of animators.
