- The troubled Vuillard family is no stranger to illness, grief, and banishment, but when their matriarch requires a bone-marrow transplant, the estranged clan reunites just in time for Christmas.

In France however, the first episode aired on October 29th 2012 and the second episode followed a week later on November the 5th. This film recounts the legend of Merlin the Enchanter, played by the talented Gerard Jugnot.

- Marie confronts Antoine and the other objectors at their mountain camp She tries to persuade them to join the Resistance. Marchetti is faced with being exposed for the murder of a German soldier after the case is reopened.
- Daniel tells Marcel that their father, who Marcel has not spoken to in years, is seriously ill and on his deathbed as the Communists group plans it's next move.
- A few months after the death of her husband, Diane must overcome a new ordeal: her best friend Marie-Laure is taken hostage in a store. Seriously injured, her life hangs in the balance. When Diane reaches the scene, she finds out that the hostage taker is demanding the arrest of his own mother, for the murder of his sister who died over 15 years earlier. The only way to save Marie-Laure is to investigate this family, haunted for way too long with the death of a newborn.
