Excited and scared, Coral faces the prospect of her first date in a long time. Hopper and Daniel bond over a mutual dislike of Neville.

With tensions high after Jenny's funeral, Gordon agrees to let Marty and Shelly stay permanently. Frannie and Dave continue to bond. Daniel, who has a controlling interest in the garden center, demands Gordon fire Zac. Frannie is devastated to witness Neville passionately kissing another woman.
- Dave is worried about Frannie. Daniel makes good his order to have Zac fired. Frannie is torn as she struggles to know what to do about her dad Neville. Zac does not tell Darcy that he has been fired. Edwina, feeling overrun in her own home, plans a little revenge. Zac confronts Daniel for forcing Gordon to fire him.
- Frannie is hurt to see that Dave has a girlfriend, but is told that we just broke up. Trish finds out where Hopper got the money and warns him that Neville must never know. Zac starts his first day working for Gordon at the garden center. Coral is nervous about her date, which turns into a disaster.
- Trish becomes increasingly concerned about Frannie's sudden change in behavior. Edwina has a hard time adjusting to sharing a room with Shelly. Zac finds Daniel's dog China after she is hit by a car and returns her body to Daniel.
- Daniel buries his dead dog. Neville has jumped to the wrong conclusion about Dave. Lisa is caught peeking through Daniel's window. Frannie's family continues to worry about her. Lisa tells Daniel she is searching for a lost frisbee. Hopper and Coral decide to try for another date. Daniel speaks up for Zac in court, resulting in a good behavior bond.
- Trish wants Frannie to snap out of her constant bad mood. Holly starts her first day back nursing at the hospital after Jenny's death. Shelly volunteers at the hospital. Marty decides he doesn't want to attend school. To avoid interference from well-meaning relatives, Hopper and Coral plan to date in secret. Shelly's eagerness in helping out at the hospital has mixed results. Although it does not go as planned, Hopper and Coral enjoy their date. Frannie still isn't ready to talk to Trish about what's bothering her.
- Frannie is horrified when she recognizes her new teacher as her father Neville's lover. Dave and Zac play pool to finance their new business. Neville and Trish are called in to see Skinner about Frannie's behavior at school.
- After being called to the school by Principal Skinner, Neville struggles to hide the fact that he knows teacher Karen O'Reilly. Trish discovers the reason for Frannie's outburst, which means the end of Neville's marriage.
- Holly overreacts to the stained top. Dean wonders why Neville left the family home. Holly brings up the subject of a curfew and Gordon decides to give Edwina one. Marty and Dean skip school and dodge a train fare. Karen O'Reilly gives Edwina a note to give to Frannie. Marty gets in trouble for skipping school. Edwina snaps when the pressure of having Holly, Shelly and Marty in the house becomes too much. Frannie meets with Karen, who says that Neville told her he was single. In light of recent events Karen has decided to transfer to another school.
- Marty has run away after a fight with Shelly. Dave and Zac have bought a truck to make their deliveries. Gordon reminds Marty of his mother's hopes for him. Hopper is surprised when his ex-girlfriend Rachel pays him a visit. Marty has changed his mind about going to school. Hopper and Rachel talk about why the two of them broke up - she wanted commitment and he did not. Dave and Zac's second delivery, while fun, may be their last.
- After accepting Hopper's offer to sleep on his sofa, Rachel moves in with him. Dave and Zac finally make it to the correct delivery address, but the woman manipulates them into rearranging the plants. Hopper divides his time between work, hanging out with Rachel and dating Coral. Daniel finds a letter from his mother's past that leads him directly to Gordon. Belinda teases Coral about her romance with Hopper. Gordon gives Dave and Zac's delivery business a second chance. Hopper and Rachel reminisce about their past. Daniel discovers that the signature on the letter from his mother's things is Gordon's. Rachel tells a shocked Hopper that she is pregnant and that he is the father. Daniel confronts Gordon about his mother's letter. Hopper tells Rachel that he'll support her with the pregnancy.
- Daniel thinks the letter proves that Gordon was romantically involved with his mother. Dean and Lisa are in the dark about the real reason Neville moved out. Holly and Gordon discuss Daniel, with Holly saying she understands why Daniel wants to know about the letter. Neville calls home but hangs up when he hears Frannie's voice. Hopper introduces Rachel to his older sister Trish. Dean is angry with Trish for kicking Neville out. Coral is hurt when she sees Rachel kissing Hopper. When Holly drops her car keys, Daniel comes to her rescue. A misunderstanding between Coral and Hopper causes them to break up. Dave asks Frannie to go to the movies with him. Neville keeps calling Trish, who won't talk to him. Dean apologizes to Lisa. Hopper confides in Trish that he is going to be a father. Neville crashes his car on his way to see Trish.
- Neville is taken to the hospital. At the hospital, Shelly befriends a young pregnant woman, Gina, and helps her through the birth of her baby. Frannie refuses to visit Neville. Edwina complains to Zac about the lack of privacy at the Amadio house since Holly, Shelly and Marty moved in. Trish and Dean visit Neville in the hospital. Zac and Edwina's quiet evening at home is interrupted by Darcy and then Edwina's curfew. Dave stops by the Loman house and Frannie opens up about why she can't forgive Neville. Holly tells Trish and Dean that Neville is in surgery. Gina names her newborn daughter Michelle after Shelly. Neville is now in a coma.
- Edwina and Zac are desperate for some alone time as a couple. Hopper tries to cheer up Lisa. Trish tries to get Frannie to visit Neville in the hospital. Darcy goes away for a week. Edwina worries about her date with Zac, knowing he's thinking about sex. Rachel returns from her trip. Dean is angry at Frannie for refusing to see Neville. Rachel officially moves in while Hopper feels his life has been turned upside down. Frannie finally agrees to see Neville at the hospital.
