- Both Samuel and Tom are trying to quit their criminal backgrounds and make a fresh start. Their motives differ, but they have got one aim in common: A final masterstroke at the expense of their warring gangs is supposed to pave the way. What follows is the story of two driven men, trapped in a downward spiral of despair and powerlessness.
- Captain Harmsen and his chief engineer Kaiser are traveling from Algeria to Hamburg in the container ship "Anastasia", and are looking forward to a normal, relaxed voyage. Harmsen is in need of peace and quiet as it is # his wife has separated from him. Shortly after their departure from Algeria, however, the first problems start to loom: the ship is traveling too slowly. While Kaiser and an engineer named Droll are about to repair an oil pipe that seems to have been disconnected, a fire suddenly breaks out in the engine room. Kaiser and Droll manage to escape, but now the engines have stopped. There seems to be something strange going on up on deck. Meanwhile, in Hamburg, financial problems are forcing shipowner Nielson to sell shares in his shipping company to a businessman named Schröter, who shows great sympathy for the problems being experienced by the "Anastasia". The situation back on the ship becomes aggravated when Captain Harmsen suddenly discovers a group of Algerian refugees who had been hiding in one of the containers. A small boy among them seems to be extremely ill. Harmsen immediately has Sofia Minardi the Italian physician flown in to perform an appendectomy on the boy # and does his best to help her during the operation. Thanks to the repair work by Kaiser and Droll, the "Anastasia" can finally continue on her voyage # but peace just won't return up on deck. There must be narcotics concealed somewhere on board, because the drugs mafia is pursuing the ship... After a few more developments the "Anastasia" makes it into Hamburg harbor, together with its freight and the Algerian refugees. The shipping company's new shareholder Schröter is placed under arrest for being behind the drugs ring, and so is his sidekick Riedel, the steersman! Meanwhile the captain and physician Sofia make a tentative arrangement to meet up again on land...

- Heldt and Bannenberg compete in a team-building-seminar in a rustic castle against Duisburg and Essen police-judicial detective duos, in bad mood two days after their joint Westphalian human traffic bust was sabotaged by an unknown mole. Grün and Mario Korthals resent being left behind at the precinct, fearing Heldt will wreck Bochum's reputation at the prestigious event, so they resort to legally dubious reactivation of an undercover bug. Only Heldt quickly warms to the old-fashioned who done it murder game, solving a murder staged by seminar host-director Kleine (who plays the victim), "Butler" Moritz Hackforth and "cook" Natascha Meisterjahn. Essen's brutish commissioner Kathrin Hardt and state attorney Dr. Sebastian Pringel start no less enthusiastic as Duisburg commissioner Erik Schubert, whose attorney Winterbauer is medically excused. Pringel however son starts courting amused Ellen, Heldt fails to hide his jealousy, the men sharing a room and hold a mild prank war.
- After a night in the castle, romantic notably for Ellen and Heldt, who sneaked out of his shared room, seminar director Kleine alias Baron von Protznitz is missing as 'victim', but actually also in reality, all participants, cook Meisterjahn and Butler Hackforth (both hired actors) finally want to end the game fast. Despite some rivalries, state attorney Sebastian Pringel and commissioners Kathrin Hardt and Erik Schubert applaud Heldt working out the clues to the murder mystery. Kleine is found really stabbed in a storage room. Ellen claims nearest jurisdiction and commissions Heldt to officially investigate the castle, which is locked down as murder site, so nobody can leave. Heldt first finds the impoverished real baron von Protznitz, who noticed an outsider car. While the castle is searched, which proves dangerous with two criminals, an external one as well as a traitor, who ruthlessly traps several people while finding himself in danger. In Bochum Grün and Mario Korthals's parallel research is surprisingly fruitful, which turns out necessary.

In order to receive his fortune he has to travel to the city. On the way he loses his hat and with it the sewn in lottery ticket. The wind carries both to an enchanted wolf's ravine. Losing his chance to ever be with Lisa, Abesalom also seems to lose senses. While Lisa is forced by her family to marry Ilja, Abesalom goes through an amazing metamorphosis...

They have been injured during the holdup and Ralf Walter told them that he didn't shot again them.Ralf Walter arrives at his house, his two sons, Fred and Hansi are not very happy to see him.His wife Veronika says Ralf that his stay in the house must be short.Ralf receives a phone call with menaces.Then he goes to his preferred cafe where somebody shot against him, but didn't hit him.Ralf takes a taxi, arrives before his house, says to the taxi driver to wait till he will be inside.When he is before the door Ralf Walter is shot down.

Heike went away and she was looking for somebody in the banks of the river and a homeless man told her to go away.Rolf Herzog asks Ralf Jürgens who could enter in the garden shed and Ralf answered that they have only one key (the other key has been lost).Heike comes back and her husband asks why she went away.She answers that she went for some shopping.

Attorney Sven Jansen, one of them, was preparing his yacht to lend it to the victim, a third surfer about to end his -him-only- jail sentence recently escaped and roams about, Cluver's acquaintance lawyer Hans Börschig needs pushing to cooperate, even after someone tries to torture Sven, probably for the still missing big loot. More crimes follow.
