Will they be able to carry out their plan?

The students accuse her of killing him to hide the secret of the list, but...
- 6 days since Tokuyama (Kyusaku Shimada) died. Tomorrow is the school festival. Class C is doing a haunted house. They consider using Tokuyama's corpse for the event. Just then, the new principal Kazusa Midozono (Mari Hamada) comes in. The students are alarmed that the former principal Sangubashi has suddenly quit. Midozono asks about Tokuyama since something strange was written in his planner.
- As they prepare for the school festival, three graduates of Keyaki Private High come looking for Tokuyama to invite him to their reunion. Yurina Hirate (as herself) tells them he's absent, but they don't believe her since they just received a message from him saying he's in the classroom. Just then, Kanzaki (Noriko Eguchi) comes in, and for some reason, the graduates are surprised.

Meanwhile, they find out who'd been sending the messages.

- Grade 3 Class C of Keyakizaka Private High. One morning, the students (Keyakizaka 46) find their homeroom teacher, Daigoro Tokuyama (Kyusaku Shimada) dead. He is still warm. Suddenly, their sub-homeroom teacher Kanzaki (Noriko Eguchi) appears. Frightened, they hide the body. Kanzaki asks if they'd seen Tokuyama. Evading discovery, they decide not to call the police, but to keep hiding the body.
- The story takes place in 1955, ten years after losing in WWII. It tells the story of the government officials at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (now the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), who are carrying out their mission to make Japan as affluent and wealthy as the western world. The story revolves around Shingo Kazakoshi, otherwise known as "Mr. Ministry of International Trade and Industry", and unfolds around the battle between the "industry supporters" who want to protect the national industry, and the "trade supporters" who are aiming for free trade to globalize the country.

Shirakawa who takes pleasure in being a fake, has become the transforming interviewer Aonuma Kiryu in order to listen to what people say. He has no interest in the truth but seeks a real case which he had found through the internet as subject matter for his 100th novel. It is the unsolved Tulip Murders in which the grotesque abandoned corpses of two housewives were followed by yet another murder one year later. Together with a pretty editor, Shirakawa heads to the town where the cases occurred. As Aonuma, he gets close to the hidden truth with his formidable powers of deduction.

The surgery is like a battleground. Eijiro is very impressed by his senior Dr. Ushida and the nurse Kaori. But one night, when he is on duty, Eijiro runs from the surgery leaving a badly injured patient behind. It is the story of an intern doctor and the various problems and contradictions of the medical industry.
- It was a dark and rainy night. Momentarily distracted, salaryman Motomura runs over a young lady on a bicycle, panics and flees the scene. Kaji Hidekazu, a former hotshot journalist who has become deadwood in the wake of an incident, is ordered by the newspaper to re-investigate the kidnapping case. He finds out the shocking, tragic truth which had been kept under wraps.

At the same time, he encounters a strange woman who insists that he should know her. Both the director and strange woman then have their own stories to tell about what they have experienced. The strange Japanese woman has come to Hong Kong to meet with her date that she arranged on-line. The movie then proceeds to reveal a confounding amount of mysterious hints as to the many questions being raised as to what is going on.

Banji is then involved in another case involving the neighbors of the Harada family. He encounters drunk novelist Joji Kamiido, a publishing house editor and a beautiful woman Aiko who holds the key to case. As it looks like Banji has solved the case, something unexpected occurs..

In revisiting many of the same themes from the first 8000 Miles, Irie successfully ups the ante in his sophomore effort - making his deadpan comedy even more unbearable, and his hard luck characters even more heartfelt.
