The plot thickens as Oscar informs Steve that two Russians are in town bent on capturing him, dead or alive, wanting the technology of his bionics. Soon Margaret vanishes in the woods when the ghost reappears and Steve runs to her rescue. All is revealed at a convergence at a cabin in the woods.

Matt is surprised when Maggie picks up the phone and Maggie is surprised when Pat answers. Maggie and Pat have a nice conversation and Pat insists that Maggie move into her home. Maggie agrees and Matt is none to happy about it. Ed is still feeling bad for killing Brick at a shootout. Ed tells Carla and Karen that he believes Brick got the keys to the hospital pharmacy from Brad. Herb is table hopping and comes across Brad. Herb asks Brad all about Gretel. Maggie is getting situated at Pat's when the phone rings and it is Adam. Adam asks Maggie if she got a hold of Pat and Maggie says yes. Adam asks Maggie if they can meet for lunch tomorrow and Maggie says yes.
- Lew visits Brad and accuses Brad of setting Brick up. Lew reminds Brad that he is the only one left alive that knows Brad gave Brick the pharmacy key. Matt believes Maggie has some ulterior motive between Adam and Pat. Karen is visiting Jenny because Karen told Kat she would meet her in the hospital cafeteria to undergo some medical tests. Karen tells Jenny that their is a rumor that Richmond Hospital has offered Larry a position as their chief of staff. Jenny reminds Karen that since Larry is no longer chief of staff at Llanview Memorial that now is the time for Karen and Larry to get back together. Larry has a sit down with Danny and tells him that he is no longer chief of staff. Danny blames Karen for the mess Larry is in. Will sees Karen in the cafeteria and asks if he can take a seat. Will says he is not sure about his new position and having to stop seeing some of his patients. Karen asks Will if she will still be able to be his patient and Will assures Karen that with all her progress, he will continue to see her. Kat finally shows up at the cafeteria to meet Karen before her tests. When Will is back in his office he receives a frantic phone call from Faith Kipling and that she needs to see him. Herb Callison wakes up in Edwina's bed and then telephones Gretel Cummings for a date. Maggie and Adam meet for lunch and Adam is surprised to see Faith Kipling walk in with Will Vernon. Faith begs Will to take her on as a patient, but Will says that his plate is full now and not taking on new patients. Adam accuses Maggie of flirting with him. Over lunch, Herb offers Gretel a position as financial chairperson on his campaign for governor. Matt and Edwina walk in and Edwina is not happy to see Herb with Gretel. Edwina throws some catty remarks. Kat and Jenny bond while having their tests done for their pregnancies.
- Karen continues to pressure Karen about being raped by Brad, but Karen will not come out and actually say that Brad is the guilty party because it will destroy Jenny. Brad panicking about Katrina makes sure Kat continues working for him. Dorian offers Gretel the position of associate producer for Pat's daily show. Fran and Viki have lunch together and Fran explains that she is worried that Mick and Samantha are getting too close too fast and that Mick needs to concentrate on his Olympic dreams. Mario and Will collaborate on who attacked Karen. Edwina gets the shock of her life when Joe rehires her with Viki looking on. When Joe tells Dorian about hiring Edwina, Dorian is livid and after Joe leaves throws a porcelain vase at the door Joe has just walked out on. Mario grills Brad about the night Karen was attacked. Before Dorian leaves for her cruise she gives Matt some last minute instructions and reminds Matt that Pat is back in town and will no doubt not approve of Matt pursuing Maggie dues to Matt's association with Dorian. Edwina asks Herb over and relishes her news that Joe asked her back to work at the Banner, so she no longer needs to grovel for a job on his campaign. Joe calls Richard Abbott in France and Becky picks up the phone. Becky tells Joe that Richard is in Yugoslavia. Joe informs Becky that he is summoning Richard back to Llanview. Karen drams about the night that Brad raped her.
- Karen tells Kat that she is worried that the way Mario stormed out and heading to the health club, he is going to kill Brad now that he knows Brad raped Karen. Adam shows Gretel the annulment papers he has received from Pat. Gretel feels bad and Adam tells her he is going to move to New York or possibly Houston. Jenny shows up at Ina's and wants answers from Karen. Pat and Maggie are at odds because Maggie was acting as a mediator the previous night between Pat and Adam. Jenny tells Karen that since she was released from the hospital, Brad has hardly touched her. Over at the health club Sam and Mick arrive and are shocked at how beat up Brad looks. Tony calls Joe to see how he is doing and Joe is abrupt. After Jenny leaves Karen goes to Mario's room and they discuss the fight with Brad. Gretel and Pat get ready for Dorian's return from her cruise. Maggie runs to Adam and says Pat has thrown her out of the house and can Adam give her a job in his organization. Adam has no interest in helping Maggie now that Pat is out of his life. Maggie tells Adam to go to hell.
- Gretel arrives at Clint's office to see about him guesting on Pat's talk show. Maggie tells Gretel that Clint is very busy and she doubts he will have the time. The lasts thing Maggie wants is for Clint to meet Pat. Ivan runs into Dorian at the health club and Dorian tells him that Mario is working right into her plans to get rid of Larry, Jim and Will once and for all. At the clinic Jenny tells Will that Brad has gotten very dependent on her. Jack and Carla are packing for their honeymoon to Ital when Jack gifts Carla with a mink coat. Larry goes over to see Ina and tries to get information about the night Karen was attacked, but Ina knows nothing. Maggie and Clint go to Edwina's building. Edwina shows them the apartment that Paul had. Clint likes it and asks Maggie to decorate it. Maggie enlists Matt to help her decorate Clint's apartment. Brad asks Will to finance the down payment on a home he has found.
- Karen prepares to take the stand. Dorian meets the new doctor on staff, Dr. Ivan Kipling. Dorian and Ivan plot to oust Larry Wolek from his chief of staff position. Greg and Tina worry about Karen's accusation on Talbot. Edwina tries to get a scoop, but nobody will talk to her. Ed and Vinnie try to get more information to help out Viki. Viki and Joe worry that Karen will implicate herself in a disastrous way. Paul and his colleague, Bob Faulkner coach Karen for taking the stand. Talbot Huddleston does not to appear worried about Karen's accusations. Talbot's attorney Lemuel is not so sure about Talbot's innocence. Marco's brother Mario is making Karen unhinge.
- Jamie and Tina are busy necking when Jamie begins pressuring Tina to go all the way. Tina is very uncomfortable and Jamie tells her that she is 18 years old and it is 1980. Jamie says that nobody is a virgin at 18 anymore. Richard comes downstairs because of how loud Tina and Jamie are. Richard tells Jamie that Tina can wait as long as she wants and not to pressure her. Jamie then leaves in a huff. Herb is hurt that Gretel did not take his marriage proposal seriously. They begin discussing the situation when there is a knock on the door and it is Matt McAllister. Herb tells Matt that they need Asa Buchanan's backing. Pat arrives at Dorian's and they get in an argument over Dorian's power play to get Asa to be on the show. Pat stresses that she has many fans and a large viewing audience that want to see her not Dorian (Dorian took over Pat's show while Pat's sister Maggie was impersonating Pat). Dorian hits below the belt when she says that obviously her fans could not tell the difference between Pat and Maggie. Bo asks Matt how things went the night before with Asa and Clint, but Matt has no idea what the outcome is. At the health club Tina asks Samantha some advice on sex. While talking a guy named Dave asks Tina out. Pat visits with Asa about appearing on her show. Asa asks Pat why she stopped seeing Clint. Asa then tells Pat that he will appear on her show if she gets back together with Clint. Jim Craig asks Dorian about contributing some money to the free clinic and Dorian responds that she would be more than willing, that is if Larry Wolek was not in charge. Tina arrives home with Dave and is surprised to find Jamie talking with Becky. Asa asks Johnny Drummond why he wants to cancel his tour midway through. Asa also asks Johnny if he could get Becky to go on tour with Johnny would he resume the tour? Pat and Gretel arrive at Dorian's to tell Dorian that she has a written agreement that Asa with appear on her show, the Pat Ashley show..
- A drunken Carla and Ed have a talk after Jack's party and Ed lets Carla know that she cannot have a hold on him since she chose Jack over him. Jack tells Sadie that Carla feels he shows off to the medical community much too often. Bo tells that as much as he is fond of Chuck, Chuck is not a Buchanan. Gretel tells Pat that Dorian is on a power trip and plans on booking Asa Buchanan for her show. Herb hopes that Asa will invest in his political campaign. Jack and Carla get into a row when she arrives home after seeing Ed. Mimi worries about her hold on Asa and Bo. Johnny is disappointed that Becky Lee won't go on tour with him.
- Dorian goes to see Asa about booking for her show and is mortified when Chuck and Mimi tell her that Pat has already booked Asa for her show. Clint and Asa patch up their differences. Sadie asks Carla why she reached out to Ed after the party. Ed discusses Carla visiting with him to Katrina. Dorian asks Ivan to take her "slumming" like he and Karen used to do. Dorian fires Gretel. Larry takes Faith out for her birthday. Pat is furious when Herb and Gretel tell her that Dorian fired Gretel.
- Viki advises Ted Clayton that he should reveal he is Tina's father very carefully and suggests he have a talk with Dr. Will Vernon. Tina makes a play for Mick Gordon at the spa, but he turns her down. Dorian asks Samantha what she thinks about Tina finding her father and Samantha says that she has not heard anything about it. Viki, Clint and Richard Abbott discuss the fact that Dorian knows about Ted being Tina's father. Viki decides to call Dorian at the spa and ask her not to say anything. To get into Clint's good graces, Dorian decides to behave. Carla gives Jenny a memento from her deceased husband Jack and tells Jenny that Jack was very fond of her. Brad continues to deteriorate in the hospital which has Will very concerned. Mick regrets his one night with Tina, which upsets Tina. Peter sees Jenny with Brad and worries about if they will ever be together and later witnesses Jenny praying for Brad in the chapel.
