- Dorothy Wheeler decides to end her affair with Nathan Welsh when her daughter Holly finds out about her mother's illicit romance.
- A new weekday dram series on at 12:00pm EST taking place in New York City. The show focuses on 4 young woman working as secretaries at a publishing firm. In the first episode we meet the four girls, Linda Warren, April Morrison, Kim Jordan and Barbara Lamont. We also meet the ruthless head editor at the firm, Amanda Key as well as Kim's mother Violet Jordan.
- We meet Matt Crane Stevens (Scott Graham) and Liz Forsythe (Floy Dean) whom have a date in a coffee house. Matt has just pledge his love for Liz which surprises her since they have only been dating for 45 days. Matt says that he would like to make plans for the two of them to get married. Liz feels he is moving things too quickly. The next day Matt is talking with his colleague, Walter Reynolds (Michael T. Mikler) at the office about his relationship with Liz. Matt does not understand why Liz is being so hesitant to move things along more seriously. After work, Walter arrives to his home with Ann Reynolds (Lee Meriwether) in Queens Point. Ann is preparing for their dinner party with Liz, Dan and their friends the Garret's Dr. Dan (Paul Picerni) and Susan (Peggy McCay). Ann asks Walter how Buckley liked his latest sketches, where Ann is the model. Walter feels Buckley has something up his sleeve which worries Ann. Once Susan and Dan arrives, Walter instructs them all that they need to show married life as a good thing to help Matt win his case with Liz. In the kitchen Ann admits to Susan that her fragile personality is getting the best of her as Walter's model and she fears his company will not Walter to continue using her. At the dinner party, Matt continues to pressure Liz about marriage. Liz tells Matt that she int so keen about marriage since her parents marriage ended in divorce. Matt explains to Liz that all marriages take work. Matt continues his plight and Liz finally gives in and says she will marry him.
- Angie receives a visit from the social worker about Kayla. Sydney listens to one of Nick's old albums. Buck does not like Nick hanging around the bar. Douglas Kent, Sydney's lawyer visits Sydney about the merger. Jocelyn has a meeting with Sydney and Douglas about the eviction. Sydney fires Douglas since he has been giving Sydney's work to an associate. Sydney hires Jocelyn as her attorney after Sydney is impressed how she handled herself with the eviction case. Sydney visits the group and has a drink with Nick. Alex shows up at the bar.
- Dan stops by to play catch up with Walter at his studio. Liz is going through the newspaper to find an apartment. Irene advises her that she cannot be invisible with Matt and that she needs to help make decisions. Ann (now played by Susan Brown) arrives home from the beauty parlor with a new look. Ann's hair is up-swept to look like a Gibson Girl. Walter is not pleased at first until Ann tells Walter that it is part of an idea for the sketches with Empire Textiles. The plan is going from behind the times to modern times. Walter is excited and realizes Ann does not look like the "Walter Reynolds girl" and just may work. Walter is excited and believes Buckley will be as well. Matt shows up at Irene's and tells her and Liz that he has a surprise about where he and Liz may live. Irene assures Matt that women do not like surprises where living is concerned. Matt meets Dan for a drink. Dan tells Matt that he may have found a home available in Queens Point that may be in Matt's budget.
- After Roy roughs up Lena a bit he calls Susan at home. Susan acts like she does not know who he is and hangs up. Roy tries again by calling Susan at work and she hangs up, which makes Roy very angry. Ann meets Susan for lunch at the Kings Plate and Susan is very jumpy. Susan goes to the restroom as Paul approaches. Paul and Ann discuss his apartment and how Ann plans on decorating it. Felix approaches Susan to tell her that she has a phone call. Susan is shocked that Roy has tracked her down at the Kings Plate. Roy insists that Susan comes to Lena's motel room. Susan goes back to the table and makes an excuse as to why she must go. Ann and Paul are surprised at how irrational Susan is acting. Susan arrives and Lena introduces Roy to Susan. Roy then asks Lena to leave the room.
- Roy tells Lena that he has decided to shake Susan up a bit and make her snap so that she gives them the money. Roy calls Susan at the Welfare Center. Susan's co-worker, Marian comes into Susan's office with an emaciated child. Marian gives Susan the run down of the people taking care of the young girl. Th couple sound just like Roy and Lena. Ken asks Dan if he has had any luck getting Susan to go to the islands. Dan says that Susan seems to not n=be interested. Susan calls Roy back and says she will agree to give them the money if she can see Jerry. Roy tells Lena the latest and that they have to grab Jerry from the couple in Mexico and show Susan what she wants. Dan surprises Susan after coming home from the bank with the two thousand dollars. Dan is the one that gets surprised when he sees the distraught reaction Susan has..
- It is moving in day for Paul to his new apartment. Mady and Theo discuss Paul moving out. Mady feels that Paul will get tangled up with Ann, which worries her. Ann surprises Paul and Mrs. Gubbins with a gift. Paul tells Ann that he has to run over to Liz's and get some things, but Ann can stay and see what is needed for the apartment. While Ann is measuring Mady walks into Paul's apartment and sees an embarrassed Ann. At the Stevens home Liz warns Paul of Irene's manipulating nature. Paul arrives home in time to find an uncomfortable situation with Mady and Ann. Mady gives Paul some things and says she will leave. Ann then says she should leave and Paul insists that she stay.
- Ann is feeling very awkward after Mady leaves and made it perfectly clear that she does not approve of Ann being around Paul. Ann and Paul can both feel that attraction that they have for each other. Ann calls Walter from Paul's to remind him that they have plans that evening at the Garret's. Jill listen to the conversation on Walter's end. Once Walter hangs up he is testy with Jill because of his deadline rapidly approaching. Jill lets Walter know that she is going to meet up with her friends at the Blu Blah. Walter makes it very clear that he does not like the people Jill is hanging around with, especially Jimmy. At the garret's, Walter immediately picks a fight with Ann about her not being around Jill enough. Ann relents that Jill at 18 is capable of handling herself. Walter complains to Dan about Ann not running the home like she should. Once home Ann lays into Walter about the way he spoke to her in front of Dan and Susan and she is no happy about it. They continue to fight. Once alone, Ann calls Paul to say that she will be very happy to decorate his apartment.
- Jocelyn asks her father Lou where he used to take her on Saturdays as a child and why can't she remember. Molly and Danny make love. Jared tries to get closer to Tess. Tess tells Buck about her date with Jared. Malcolm alerts Jared that Alex is getting closer to what they are doing. Lou tells Jocelyn that the reason she may feel odd about the Saturdays of her childhood is because Danny was not included. Jocelyn has memories of her mother and father arguing and Lou hitting her mother.
- Dan is very cold to Susan as she pours him some coffee before work. Dan does not understand why Susan is making a big deal about a two week vacation. They argue some and Dan then leaves. Susan decides to run after him and opens the door and finds Lena standing there. Susan invites Lena in for some coffee. Over at the Stevens home things are more pleasant. Matt and Liz discuss the Mady/Paul and Ann triangle. Lena is shocked at how beautiful Susan's home is. Lena and Susan have a heart to heart talk and begin to have an understanding. Lena assures Susan that the couple in Mexico taking care of Jerry are good people. They begin discussing the arrangement of meeting Jerry when the doorbell rings. Lena offers to go, but Susan says it is fine if she stays and that it is probably a salesman at the door. Susan is shocked when she opens the door and it is Dan. Liz visits Irene and asks if Irene if she can stop interfering in peoples lives. Irene of course says it is too much fun. Dan apologizes for the way he acted and wants to talk it out. Because of Lena being there, Susan says it is not a good time. Dan gets angry and leaves..
- The day of Trisha and Steve's wedding Cec takes a bullet meant for Steve. Everyone is relieved when Cec makes it through surgery and the doctor says that she will make a full recovery. While Marty is taking pictures at the reception Jim and Shana tell her they would love to have her over for dinner. Gwyn makes it clear to Jack that she does not like the fact that Curtis married Lotty and that she hopes Curtis is happy in Europe. Gwyn is appalled that Clay/Alex brought Ava to the reception. Harry proposes to Ann and she accepts. Kate offers to stay with Cec instead of going to the reception. Alan gets into Marty and April's apartment with a credit card.
- Trisha and Gwyn are not thrilled that Ava is the driver taking Clay/Alex back to his hospital room. Lily tells Jack how much she loves him. Trisha and Steve's reception continues and instead of Trisha dancing with Clay she asks Cabot. Steve dances with Gwyn and Jack with Isabelle as more people go on the dance floor. Jim asks Rick if he is still searching for his birth mother. Alan smashes some glass in Marty and April's apartment to make it look likes someone broke in. Ann and Harry wonder what Gwyn and Rick are talking about not knowing that Rick is not happy that nobody knows he is Gwyn's son. Lily pretends she is not feeling well so Jack will leave the reception and take her home. Gwyn tells Harry that Ann is all wrong for him.. Jack tells Lily that their fling in NYC was a mistake and will never happen again and Lily responds that He does not believe that any more than she does. Steve and Trisha go on their honeymoon. April and Marty are shocked to come home and see their apartment was broken into as Alan smiles looking on..
- Jocelyn goes to see her mother, Joanna. Maria can't believe Sydney is going to get involved with Danny Roberts even though it is business. Molly wants Danny to go with her on her audition after he meets with Sydney. Joanna tells Jocelyn she has a migraine not a hangover. Alex has found the initial J with Malcolm's stuff and thinks it stands for Joey and Tony says it may mean Jocelyn. Sydney gives Danny a much-needed make-over. Tony says he saw Jocelyn and Malcolm kissing in the stairwell on New Year's Eve, the night Jocelyn stood Alex up. Joanna admits she never should have let Jocelyn go with Lou on Saturday's, but does not say why.
- Liz complains to Irene that she has been meddling in the lives of Matt, Paul, Mady and Phil Buckley. To prove a point, Irene and Liz visit each one. Irene comes right out and asks each one of them if they feel she is meddling. In a crafty way with each person, Irene has a way of manipulating the situation and comes out the winner.
- Jocelyn has a session with Dr. Peterson. Malcolm realizes his appointment book is missing. Sydney is livid to watch Richard's show as he announces Zoe as his co-host. Jared admits to Tess that he is her secret admirer. Alex gives Malcolm his appointment book and admits that he has been seeing Jocelyn several times a week.
- At their motel room, Lena and Roy receive a telegram saying that Jerry will be arriving soon. Roy tells Lena that from here on in, he is in charge. Roy mentions Jerry as being stupid and this makes Lena flare up and say that she raised Jerry and he is not stupid. Roy tells Lena to call Susan and to make sure she has the money. Walter takes a break from work and Jill arrives home. Two friends drop Jill off and meet Walter. After they leave, Walter tells Jill that they seemed nice. Jill says they are blobs. In other words, square. Jill tells Walter that she would rather spend her free time with someone like Jimmy Dahl, whom Walter does not approve of. Jimmy finishes some work at Liz's and flirts with an unknowing Liz. Liz says she has to run to the bank to get some money to pay him for the work he has done for her. Liz asks Jimmy if he can meet her at Susan's home since Liz is invited over there and maybe Susan and Dan may have some odd jobs for Jimmy. At Susan's, Liz explains about Jimmy and the work he is doing for her. Jimmy arrives and Liz introduces Jimmy to Susan. As they are chatting the phone rings and Susan is startled to find Roy on the other end. Susan excuses herself and takes the call from Roy. Roy explains that Jerry will be in town soon and that Susan will get to spend time with Jerry alone....as long as Susan brings the $2000.00.
- Zoe freezes on camera. Nick meets with Murray Golden to jump start his music career. Alex asks Jocelyn about her involvement with Malcolm and Jocelyn comes clean. Danny apologizes for missing Molly's audition. Murray disagrees with Nick recording a live album. Zoe shows a picture of a woman whom she claims is her mother and Nick sees and says that's Cassie. Lorraine saves the day.
- Walter is having a bad day and Carol Senses it. Jill pops in to Walter's work space and is all happy and joyful. Walter snaps at her. Once Jill leaves, Carol tells Walter how mean he was to Jill. Walter realizes his fault and calls Jill into the room and apologizes. Walter asks Jill if he can make it up to her by taking her out to dinner. Jill assumes Ann will be included and Walter says that Ann is working late for Irene and he does not want to be alone. Jimmy and Poet are bored with there being no action at the Blue Blah and decide to have a small party inviting Jill and Ginny. Jimmy calls Jill and she says she will arrive. Jill then goes to Walter's studio to cancel their evening, saying she forgot she made plans a while ago. Carol can see right through Jill and feels sorry for Walter. Walter asks Carol if she would like to go out for dinner. Carol has plans and then Walter asks Carol what she knows about Jimmy. Carol says she fell hard for Jimmy when she was 19 and found out she was one of 4 girls Jimmy had stringing along. Carole then invites Walter to her friends home and Walter declines. At the Blue Blah, Jimmy begins flirting with Ginny, which annoys both Poet and Jill..
- Ned tells Lottie that he has a lead on April. Gwyn tells Clay that they may lose Rick Stewart since he did not get the promotion. Cecilia tells Ava that she really cares for Rick. Ava advises to take it slow with Rick. Gwyn assures Rick she is handling everything on his behalf. Anne tells Ava to stay out of Gwyn's business. Ann tells Jack that she thinks Gwyn is having an affair with Rick and Ava knows this also. Stacey needs to go out of town and Jack can't help thinking about Lily.
- Ned is happy that a little girl has seen Alan. Alan (now played by Peter Crombie) tells April that it is their wedding day. Jim asks Shana if she misses her job. Marty tells Ned she feels to blame for April missing. Ned tells Kristin about Alan abducting April and that Ned has proof. Ned realizes Kristin lied and got Michele to lie for her about April leaving town. April starts stalling the wedding with Alan. Alan marries he and April. Jim and Shana decide to start a family.
- Ava accuses Gwyn of having an affair with Rick. Ned Bates (Luke Perry) tells Lt. Art Hindman (John Danelle) he has information about April. Clay (Randolph Mantooth) tells Gwyn that Ann told him that Gwyn is having an affair with Rick Stewart. Lily Slater eavesdrops on Jack and Ann talking. Lily unsuccessfully tries to have dinner with Jack while Stacey is out of town. Clay tells Ava to stop talking about his family or their wedding is off. Jack admits to Lily that he is in love with her, but cannot hurt Stacy. Gwyn tries to convince Ann that there is nothing going on with herself and Rick.
- Alex explains to Jocelyn that he wanted to see how his friends are doing in the big apple. Ally is thrilled to see Alex. Angie bonds with Kayla. Steffi and Tony get closer as do Tess and Nick. Nick wakes up at Tess's. Ally insists that Alex stay with her and Steffi and Jocelyn. Jacob is shocked that Kayla is staying with Angie.
- When Walter arrives in Matt's office to show him the sketches, Matt tells Walter that he and Liz had an argument the night before. Walter hears the story and tells Matt not to surprise Liz in the future about anything; they like to be in on the loop. Dan tells Walter about the home in Queens Point. Walter shows Buckley the new sketches and idea. Buckley likes them, but not for the new campaign. Buckley says they are interested in a new model, Carol West. Buckley however will show the sketches at the next meeting with Empire Textiles. Liz shows up in Matt's office and they patch up their differences from the night before. Matt plans on taking Liz to see the home that afternoon. Dan meets Walter for lunch and Walter says he is not sure the new sketches will get approved and that will destroy Ann. Matt shows Liz the home and she loves it. Matt says that if they get it they will have to move up the wedding date because the owner wants to sell it now.
- Sydney and Jared have a game of chess and Syd loses. Things look up at the City Bar for Nick's recording session. Lorraine and Nick bond. Nick tells Zoe and Richard that he recognizes the woman in the picture Zoe showed on the air as Cassie and old girlfriend of his. Jacob and Angie talk about their upcoming wedding.
- First scene is a repeat of the last scene in the previous show then goes right into Jimmy and Ginny dancing with Poet and Jill looking on glumly. After dancing Jimmy talks with Jill and tells her she needs to loosen up. Jill is not liking the way things are going. Walter finds himself over at the Garret home and talking Susan's ear off. Susan has other things on her mind like Lena and Roy and is barely listening to Walter. Dan arrives home and immediately gets into it with Susan about not wanting to take a vacation. Walter feeling uncomfortable and goes home. Walter catches Jill and Jimmy sneaking in and notices that they have had too much to drink. Walter begins bossing Jimmy around which infuriates Jill. Jill and Walter banter back and forth and Walter tells Jill to go up to her room. Jill dancing around her room and is taking her dress off, when she notices that the pin she borrowed from Ann, with Walter's okay is now missing.
- Nick tells Sydney that he has to revamp the City Bar to reactivate his singing career. Richard recommends that if Zoe is going to confront Nick about possibly being her father, she needs to trend softly with him. Alex continues to want to nail the call girl ring and Madame Verushka. Sydney decides to sign the work order for Nick. Ally calls Dr. Peterson to see if she can see Jocelyn now. Tony tells Alex that maybe he should meet with the redhead as Ally overhears him.
- Dan and Susan continue there talk about a vacation and the extra money they have. Susan finally says no to a vacation, but she needs to use the money for something else and says no questions. Dan is not happy at all about that. After much discussion Dan relents and will give Susan the money. Ann finally arrives home and she and Walter argue about how long she was gone. Walter informs Ann that Jill is drunk. Ann goes to Jill's bedroom and sees the state she is in and wakes her up. Ann is furious and then notices that Jill is wearing her necklace, which Walter gave her on their honeymoon. Ann asks if she also borrowed the pin and Jill says yes. Ann tells Walter about the jewelry and that the pin is missing. Walter tells Ann not to be too upset. Ann says it means a lot to her and how and why Walter gave it to her. Walter has no recollection which infuriates Ann..
- not be impartial. Jocelyn tells Dr. Peterson that she would kill herself if Alex found out about her being a call girl. Alex catches Ally eavesdropping on him and Tony. Dr. Peterson takes Jocelyn back in time. Jacob is concerned about Angie's sleepwalking and wonders if Kayla visiting in a week. Ally picks up the phone when Verushka calls and Ally pretends she is Jocelyn.
- It's moving day for Paul in his new apartment. The piano arrives and he is deciding where it should be located and Ann arrives. Ann complains to Paul about the lack of romance in her marriage to Walter. Jill goes over to Liz's to see if Jimmy is working. Jimmy is working and Jill tells him she has lost a pin that she wore the night before and it is Ann's. It is junk Jill says, but has sentimental value and would appreciate it if Jimmy could check the Blue Blah. Paul and Ann continue to flirt back and forth. Paul asks Ann if she would like to hear the concerto he has written. Of course Ann would like to and is delighted that Paul fills her ego up. Jimmy goes to the Blue Blah to see if Poet got any money for the pin. Poet tells Jimmy that the pin is junk. Deflated, Jimmy says there will be more higher priced items to make money off of. Paul's concerto brings tears to Ann's eyes. Paul is thrilled that Ann likes it. Luckily, Mrs Gubbins knocks on the door before things between the two gets too heated.
- Harry tells Ava that he will not give her away at her wedding and suggests she ask Steve. Gwyn tells Rick that she and Harry are a lot closer than people believe. Ava's big wedding day to Clay Alden aka Alex Masters. Gwyneth drops in on Harry rather than attend Ava's wedding. Sherri goes into labor as the I do's begin.
- Ally erases Verushka's phone message. Jocelyn goes to see Joanna and Lou. Zoe tells Richard that the facts match and she believes Nick is her father. Ally asks Azure to give her a make-over for her meeting at Verushka's. Jocelyn demands to know who molested her and it is not Lou, but she knows that he and Joanna know who it was. Jocelyn shocks Joanna and tells her she is a prostitute.
- Lena and Roy anxiously await for Jerry. Jerry calls the motel to say that he has arrived in Queens Point. Roy tells Lena to tell Jerry to get a cab to the motel. Roy calls Susan to tell her that Jerry has arrived and to get the two thousand dollars ready. Ann drops in on Susan to tell her about Jill and the pin and to complain about her marriage as usual. Jimmy stops by the Reynolds home to show Jill that he has found the pin. Jimmy has a nice chat with Walter and Jill is thrilled. Walter is impressed with Jimmy and tells Jill that he may have been wrong about Jimmy. Ann comes home and is happy to have the pin back, but makes some snide remarks to Jill which infuriates Walter..
- Squirrel imagines that that Randy is alive and back visiting him at his apartment. Squirrel tells Randy that Kim knows that he concocted the LSD with the chemistry kit at the Jordan's. Vi offers to go with Kim to Randy's funeral, but Kim says she would rather go alone. Kim tells Josh that she should be testifying today for the grand jury, but Josh is convinced that Mr. Craig knows what he is doing. Vi feels bad that she and Josh can no longer foot the bill for April and Dexter's wedding because of the rising lawyer bills for Kim. Josh assures Vi that Amanda will put on a great wedding for April and Dexter. Fred plays a tape recording of Dexter and April where they are discussing April's pregnancy and Dexter's mother, Amanda does not suspect a thing. Amanda wonders what she is going to do with the tape. Amanda is not sure April is really pregnant or just trying to snare her son Dexter as a husband. April is concerned that she will have been pregnant for two months at the time of their wedding and that people will figure out that is why they rushed into marriage. Vi and Josh continue talking about Kim's trial not knowing that Fred has the whole house bugged for Amanda. Mr. Craig visits Vi and Josh and tells that Kim is being indicted. Randy's funeral begins with Squirrel eyeing Kim.
- Alex informs Tony that he is going to be wired. It's a packed house at City Bar for Nick's performance. Joanna freaks out with Jocelyn's announcement and slaps her across the face. Azure gives Ally the full make-over. Molly likes Danny's new look. Maggie and Angie have an icy conversation. Jocelyn blames Lou and Joanna for turning the other way. Joanna attempts suicide. Nick is a success and Zoe makes a big announcement.
- Roy and Lena anxiously await for Jerry. Dan asks Susan if she would like to meet for lunch and Susan says that she and Liz are meeting for lunch. Dan asks Susan if she has spent the money she needed and Susan says not yet. On his way to work, Dan stops over at Matt and Liz's. Dan tells them that he feels something is bothering Susan and if Liz can find out something while at lunch, Dan would be appreciative. Liz is at Susan's when the phone rings and it is Lean. Lena tells Susan there is a change of plans and she is to meet them at a restaurant instead of the motel. Susan tells Liz she has to cancel lunch. Susan heads to the dinner and grabs a booth. In walks Lena, Roy and Jerry..
- Kim gives her condolences to Randy's mother at the funeral. Barbara gives Violet an update on her situation with Ken and what happened at the hospital. Barbara asks Violet if she thinks Kim will watch Johnny in the afternoon since Barbara has to go back to work. Vi is thrilled that Barbara trust Kim after all that has gone on. Barbara tells Vi she knows Kim did not make that LSD. While Vi is watching Johnny he has a late LSD reaction thinking that Vi is on fire and that the walls are coming down. In a panic Vi calls Eddie for help. Eddie advises Barbara that Johnny had an "echo phenomenon". Vi is concerned that Kim has not come home from the funeral. Eddie calls the funeral home and tells Vi that the funeral was over 2 hours ago. Vi and Eddie are concerned and now realize it has been over 4 hours since the funeral ended and Kim is still not home. Vi worries that Kim may have run a way knowing that she is being indicted. Josh arrives home and he argues with Vi on whether or not to tell Mr. Craig that they fear Kim has run a way. In an empty store Kim is lying in a pool of blood not moving.
- The story begins with the last scene from the previous show where Roy, Lena and Jerry walk into the dinner and sit nears Susan. Roy walks over to Susan and asks for the money. Susan says she did not bring it because she wanted to make sure that the boy was actually her son Jerry. Roy is very agitated and shows Susan the boys passport. Roy tells Susan to get the money and meet him at the motel in one hour. Dan arrives home to not find Liz and Sue. Dan calls Liz and asks why she and Susan are not having lunch together. In walks Susan and very skittish. Dan receives a phone call and Susan gets the cash and tells Dan she has to leave. Back at the motel, Roy tells Lena to take Jerry out because Susan will be arriving with the money. Jerry asks Lena if they can go to the movies. Roy tells Lena to take him to a double feature. Susan arrives with the money and tells Roy that she does not want to hear from Roy or Lena again and that if Jerry is mistreated she will find out..
- Zoe announces that she is Nick's daughter. Alex goes with Jocelyn to the hospital. In the bar, as they are leaving, they see Danny and Jocelyn tells him that Joanna attempted suicide. Murray is impressed with Nick's singing, but not Zoe's announcement. Tony does not recognize Ally in her costume. Jared and Tess make a getaway after Nick's show. Sydney is livid with Zoe's announcement. Tony realizes the call girl is Ally. Lorraine asks Nick not to take a drink.
- Dan wants answers from Susan and tells her that bot Ann and Liz agree that Susan has been acting odd. Susan decides to tell Dan that she has gotten involved with one of the cases at the Social Welfare center. The money wen to one of them. Susan says she needs to rest and is very tired. Dan calls Ann to tell her the issue and Ann is somewhat relieved. When Ann gets off the phone, Walter asks her what has been going on with Susan that he is concerned. Ann and Jill have a heart to heart discussion and Ann says that she wants to take a more active interest in Jill. Jill and Ann bond for a bit. - Jocelyn tells Alex it is all her fault that Joanna overdosed. Jared offers to be Tess's benefactor. Maggie is able to prevent Nick from taking a drink. Sydney tells Richard that if he does not break off with Zoe, then she is finished with him.
- Susan has Liz and Ann over for lunch and goes all out. Everyone dresses up for the occasion with a little sherry to drink. Ann leaves the lunch to pick up a hat rack to surprise Paul with since she is his interior decorator. Mrs. Gubbins and Paul are very surprised at the gift Ann has for Paul. Susan and Liz discuss their husbands.
- Nick goes over to Sydney and Richard and asks her why the sudden interest in Nick and Zoe. Danny confides in Molly that Joanna cannot die. Sydney and Richard are at odds with each other and Jared intervenes. The doctor tells Lou, Danny and Jocelyn that Joanna will make it and is stable. Sydney lets Jared know that she will be telling Richard the truth in the not too distant future. Jocelyn visits Joanna. Zoe shows her evidence to Nick and he is impressed with her detail.
- Liz is making Matt breakfast and Matt says that he has a meeting with Buckley and Irene. They get in a discussion about Ann and Paul. At the meeting, Irene announces she has money for a new big campaign which thrills Buckley and Matt. Walter is working in his studio when Ann walks in with an unfinished work of Walter's that Ann posed for. Ann says that this was when the times were so happy and why can't they go back to them. Walter says that his art work did not pay the bills. Ann persuades Walter that they can do it. Walter is pretty keen on the idea. The door bell rings and it is Matt. Matt tells Walter and Ann about the big job Irene has for them. Walter is elated and Ann is deflated. Ann protests and Walter says that he can do both. Ann is not so sure and is very disappointed. Walter promises Ann that this will be the last job he will take and then he will concentrate on his art work. Matt tells Liz that Buckley took all the credit for his idea in front of Irene. - Ally is shocked that Joanna attempted suicide. Malcolm presents Jared with paperwork with his merger with Tess. Ally tells a furious Jocelyn that she posed as her and why she did it. Alex tells Tony that he thinks he is falling in love with Jocelyn.
- It is a chaotic morning for Paul. Paul is trying to concentrate on his concerto when Mady calls to say she will be coming over to drop off some food. Mrs. Gubbins pops in to clean the apartment and then Ann and Irene pop i so that Irene can see how Ann has decorated Paul's place. Irene leaves and Ann and Paul discuss Walter. Ann decides to leave and then Mady arrives saying she saw "that Mrs. Reynolds" leave his apartment. Later that evening at the Steven's home, Mady and Liz discuss Pau and Ann.
- Tony asks Alex why he is rally in NYC. Jacob tries to convince Angie that Kayla is trouble even though she is a child. Sydney wants Jocelyn to still evict everyone, but Jocelyn tells Sydney she cannot legally. Nick tells Tess he is in between places right now and Tess says their night of sex was wonderful. Alex tells Tony that he and Ava are getting a divorce, but does not want Ally to know. Sydney tells Jocelyn she did a full background check on her before she put her on the payroll. Azure gets the coveted honor of being Miss Mystique.
- Liz tells Irene about the home in Queens Point that Matt took her to see. Irene is livid when Liz says that Matt thinks it is a good idea to push the wedding day sooner. Theo gets an eye examination from Dan and Dan informs him he needs to get the cataracts removed. Dan feels though that there is something more serious going on. Dan sets an appointment for Theo with a specialist. Theo and Mady discuss how happy they are with Liz while waiting for a long distance call from their other son, Paul (Michael Stefani). Paul finally calls and tells his folks that he is leaving Austria and coming home.
- Alex tells Jocelyn that he loves her. Tony says to Ally that the call girl he met up with via Verushka was a phony. Buck, Jacob and Lorraine tell Nick he has gotten the record deal. Sydney gives Zoe a check to take off without Richard. Tony tells Ally that the jig is up; he knew that it was Ally the other night. Sydney tells Zoe that she cannot be with Richard, because he is her brother.
- Susan arrives in the kitchen and sees Dan preparing his breakfast. Dan is very tense. Turns out Dan was in the Hospital until the wee hours of the morning. Susan offers to make breakfast and Dan says no very curtly. Dan is still upset that Susan is being so secretive about where the two thousand dollars went. Roy informs Lena that Jerry needs to go back to Mexico. Roy also surprises Lena that he has gotten a job at a nightclub. That evening Susan prepares a fabulous meal for she and Dan.
