1. Saturday Night Live (1975 TV Series)
Episode: Johnny Knoxville/System of a Down (2005)
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have announced that their new reality show will be called 'Britney and Kevin: Chaotic' because the name 'The Beverly Hillbillies' is already being used.
2. Siskel & Ebert (1986 TV Series)
Episode: Broken Arrow/Black Sheep/Beautiful Girls/A Midwinter's Tale/Antonia's Line (1996)
What's surprising is that the film was directed by Penelope Spheeris, who made the brilliant "Wayne's World" and somehow, lost her way very badly. Her next film was "The Beverly Hillbillies", which was bad but not awful. "Black Sheep" is awful.
3. Women of the House (1995 TV Series)
Episode: Miss Sugarbaker Goes to Washington (1995)
"Considering the flamboyant, zaftig Miss Sugarbaker's ample cleavage and her breathless assurances that she is, quote, 'too rich to steal,' it was difficult to tell if she was playing Miss Kitty or Miss Ellie from The Beverly Hillbillies."
4. Sherman's March (1985 Documentary)
Both my life and my film seem to be in limbo. For three days I've stayed locked up in my motel room watching re-runs of "Beverly Hillbillies" and "Love Boat." In an attempt to get things moving again I decide to go sightseeing.
5. Ellen's Energy Adventure (1996 Video)
Oh, wait, wait, I know this one! Black gold. Texas tea. Swimming pools. Movie stars. What is the Beverly Hillbillies! Uh, I mean... What is Oil.
