47. The X-Fools (1997 Video Game)
Interactive parody tour of a trailer where former FBI Agents Rex Mully and DeDe Scudder, the two "real life" people that the X-Files show is based on, now live in hiding. They invite you in to show you how deep the conspiracy goes. These two characters never show on-screen and you only get to hear their voices that sound almost just like Mulder and Scully's. There are several machines in the trailer, each representing a different activity. You can watch VHS tapes of stock footage clips on the X-Cam VHS player as Mully explains the truth behind them and how they tie into the alien conspiracy. On the Conspiracy Computer, you can see zoomed-in images of historical events or famous people as Mully explains the hidden alien messages on them. Doctored Drafts are short motion comic sketches that represent spoofs of the real 90s television series, sitcoms, talk shows and reality shows like NYPD Blue, Seinfeld, Letterman and Real Word in which aliens take part this time. Mully and Scudder also have files that contain humorous biographies of some of the more popular villains on the X-Files show such as Eugene Victor Tooms and The Smoking Man. These tapes and files are scattered around the trailer home and players must pick them up and put them in the proper machines or the file cabinet. The only real goal in the game is to view these tapes and files to unlock the gate at the back of the trailer where Sully and Scudder's private stash of top secret files about the X-Files show itself is hidden. Whenever you hit a certain completion percentage while you're completing this quest, visions of a man that represents the spoof of the Cigarette Smoking Man will appear to you. This mysterious sinister individual also never appears on-screen and you only hear his voice. Sully and Scudder are occasionally checked in on by a loud security officer, who we also never see. There are also three mini-games. A tech geek, who's an obvious parody of the Long Gunmen character Richard 'Ringo' Langly, hosts a conspiratorial trivia pop quiz, where you answer trivia questions about the X-Files episodes and characters. The other game is a funny X-Files version of Pacman. Mulder and Scully replace the Pacman character, ghosts are aliens and pellets are secret case files. The third mini-game is called Abduct THIS! and it's a timed arcade game where you play a UFO that gets different points whenever it sucks in aliens, cows or some of the angry humans. Finally, the game has an in-game on-line mode, which is no longer supported, in which you can log onto Mully's computer to visit their website, X-Fools Online. There's plenty of funny banter between Mully and Scudder throughout the game that often revolves around the fact the Scudder is in love with Mully and the conspiracy-obsessed Mully doesn't get it or care. As the game nears its completion the visions from the X-Fools version of the Cigarette Smoking Man become more and more sinister.

A clever send up of the UFO genre based on Brandon Scott's real life escapades as he explores the UFO subculture with a biting edge and wit. Brandon Plays a parody of himself which takes us on a wild ride that at times seems like a cross between X-Files and Spinal Tap. Follow Brandon as he cleverly navigates his way through the world of UFO Abductees and Alien/Human Hybrids while dogging a shadow government agent bent on stopping his findings. This offbeat mockumentary is sprinkled with real life people from the UFO community; from Budd Hopkins to Dr. J.J. Hurtak and actual people claiming to be abductees and alien/human hybrids. What is real and what is illusion? See the film and find out.

Some kids fantasize about running away from home to join the circus. As adults, we learn to give up that dream - or at least trade it in for another. What if the Circus is a magical refuge for lost souls to avenge their deaths? In DARK FABLES, LILY & BILLY have joined the Circus to vindicate their own deaths. Together with the motley Circus crew, they help avenge other unfortunate souls while learning to live among the dead, and remind them what it means to be human. DARK FABLES is a modern retelling of the classic GRIMM'S FAIRY TALES, mashing-up the eerie suspense of the X-FILES with all the colorful enchantment of CIRQUE DU SOLEIL.
