Episode: Cell Test (2005)
Michael convinces John Abruzzi that he won't talk after a torture session produces no information on the whereabouts of Fibonacci. Abruzzi decides to take another tack by cooperating with Michael in exchange for the info, and as a show of good faith he takes Tea Bag out of the picture. For the next stage of his plan, Michael needs to put his cell-mate Sucre to the test to ensure his trustworthiness. However, Sucre wants to settle down with his fiancée after he gets paroled and can't risk it by helping a prison break, so he requests a transfer. The new cell-mate, a murderer named Haywire, is far too unstable to be trusted. Veronica, meanwhile, starts looking deeper into Lincoln's case after she talks with Leticia, who disappears in the middle of giving her account of what happened. Lincoln's son, as part of the punishment for getting caught buying pot, begins visiting his father in jail.

Sheldon is accused by his friends of being insensitive once again, this and most other times so accused because he doesn't read emotional cues in others. As Bernadette has heard that scientists at MIT are developing a machine that can accurately read the emotions of happiness, sadness, anger and excitement in people, Howard manages to get a prototype of the machine through his MIT contacts for Sheldon. Sheldon learns the machine does what it is intended to do, leading to him having mixed emotions about what it does for his life. The machine is the cause of an argument between Leonard and Penny over Leonard's decision on what to do with their spare bedroom, and Penny telling Leonard that Randall will be staying with them while she tries to get him a job with the pharmaceutical company. Meanwhile, Raj confides in his friends that the woman that he has been dating broke up with him for unspecified reasons. Feeling insecure, Raj decides to hold a focus group of sorts with some of his old girlfriends - deaf Emily, Emily the doctor, Lucy and Claire - to find out what went wrong in their respective relationships, the session against the advice of his friends who believe that all it will accomplish is oversensitive Raj being hurt by the criticisms. Beyond if Raj does get any useful information from the session, he may at least discover how determined he is to having a significant other in his life in the long term.

With only two months to complete the contract for the Air Force, Howard, Leonard and Sheldon are working around the clock. Sheldon in particular is feeling sleep deprived as someone who doesn't drink coffee to stay awake. Feeling delirious, Sheldon, during one of the guys' working sessions, is lured to the dark side by the hallucination of one of his idols, the dark side being an energy drink. Sheldon is affected negatively by the experience, probably partly by the stimulants themselves, but also by the thought of what those chemicals are doing to his system. But what may be most negatively affecting Sheldon is the core reason why he is feeling so tired. With Howard at work, Bernadette is left to spend the day with Raj, who suggests they start preparing the baby's room. Slowly, Bernadette lets Raj know in no uncertain terms that she is concerned that her maternal instincts have not kicked in as she is less than excited about being pregnant. Unable to reassure her, Raj calls in who he believes is an expert in the field to help Bernadette deal with her emotions. And Penny volunteers to accompany Amy to a science department "party", the attendees being all Amy's scientist colleagues. Penny figures that even if she doesn't understand any of the conversations, she can always keep herself company with a glass of wine. Both Amy and Penny are surprised by how much fun they end up having at the gathering, that fun based on some revelations concerning Amy.

At the same time, Axe makes an activist play for YumTime, a family owned bakery corporation. This move reverberates back to Chuck by way of a very personal connection between his father and YumTime. Wendy is thrown into a moral dilemma when she discovers via a confidential session that one of the few female Portfolio Managers at Axe Capital is going to have her career sabotaged. And Lara Axelrod tries to protect Axe's reputation from a potentially damaging "tell all" book.

Hank and Walter Jr. visit Gus Fring's chicken restaurant and Hank has something very specific in mind. He's slowly putting the facts together in his quest for Heisenberg. Facing a series of conflicting emotions, Jesse goes back to his group counseling session.

After his attorney and new business partner crunches the numbers, he realizes that there isn't much money left for his family. Jesse just continues to put his foot in it, this time by leaving the keys in the ignition and inadvertently draining the battery. They find themselves in the middle of the desert, cold and without much water. Walt's knowledge of chemistry again saves the day.

Norman is upset after Emma tells some of the other girls that he and Bradley slept together. He leaves school without permission and in a meeting with the principal and his teacher, it's suggested to Norma that Norman seek professional help. The session with the psychologist doesn't go well. Norman starts spending time with Emma's father who is teaching him taxidermy. He gets his dog stuffed.Norma is worried about the bypass the town is about to build and tries to get Sheriff Romero to help her. He has news for her. Jake Abernathy is back at the motel and Norma decides to follow him to see what he's up to. She finds he's looking for something on Keith Summers' boat. She decides the best thing for him would be to leave the motel but he is obviously not happy about it. Dylan and Remo head off on a road trip to California to pick up the trimmers who will process the latest crop of marijuana.

Monica asks Phoebe for a massage, but they'll find themselves in a very uncomfortable situation, when Phoebe discovers the "sexual sounds" that Monica makes during the session. Later, Chandler finally opens the closet and finds out that Monica has her own "chaotic space", as all obsessive-compulsive people do.

The BAU heads to Seattle, Washington, where two people have been stabbed to death in their respective apartments, each crime scene which had the blood scrolled message "hear your evil see your evil". The team discovers that both victims attended a presentation by motivational speaker Barry Flynn, and the second victim, Cynthia Strobl, was one of the privileged few in the audience who was singled out by Flynn for a one-on-one session following the public presentation. They also learn that Flynn himself has gone into hiding for the day, a ritual he has on show days, and not even his manager knows where he is. Flynn becomes a suspect, until evidence shows that he too has been targeted by someone, probably the unsub. They have be figure out the connection between the unsub and Flynn to hopefully find a still alive Flynn. Meanwhile, Garcia tries to figure out why Morgan refuses to go to a swanky British Embassy gathering which to honor his father's old partner.

As a favor to Cruz whose friend, Peter Coleman, is the lead investigating sheriff, the BAU take on as their next case the murder of prostitutes in rural/small town Texas, the latest in Briscoe County. The latest victim is Abigail Jones, who was shot execution style in the back of the head, but not before she was tortured by having deep lacerations carved into her back in a cross-hatch fashion. This M.O. mirrors the murder of another prostitute, Hannah Kelly, in a neighboring county six months earlier, and the murder of a john, Lucas Wagner, eleven months earlier. The team quickly learns that Wagner, although convicted as a john, was truly a prostitute as well. They will also learn that forensic evidence will be difficult to come by due to the general protocols of various officials in the area. Their initial suspicion is that the murders were indeed torture, or consensual S&M sessions gone wrong, and that a john nicknamed "Mack the Knife" may be involved. With subsequent victims, they come to the understanding that the lacerations are not torture but religious symbolism. Morgan also notices that some people seem to have some pertinent information, but are afraid to talk for fear of reprisal. Although they don't know who the unsub is, they have a good idea that someone trying to insert himself into the investigation can lead them to the unsub.

The BAU is called to Houston, Texas when a past masked serial rapist coined the Piano Man - so named because of the piano wire he used to bind his victims - starts to re-offend, with his targets being his past victims. His crimes have since evolved where one of the victims, Vanessa Campbell, is abducted from her home - something the unsub had never done before - which they believe is meant to show his victims that they are safe nowhere from his clutches. He used drugs mimicking a date rape drug to knock the victims unconscious before committing his rapes. With news of the new offenses hitting the media, many of the Piano Man's past victims resurface, telling that they were indeed victimized recently by him again. Most of the women tell similar stories of the second rape - being hyper-vigilant about never leaving their drinking glass unattended, and now having a 1980's pop piano ballad being a trigger to horrific memories of that rape - while one, Diana Mitchell, tells a completely different story. During their interview of the women, Prentiss and JJ discover the delivery method of the drug into their system. As the team follows who they believe to be the unsub, one of the women who decided not to contact the authorities tracks a different person who she believes is the person who raped her, and decides to enact her own vigilante justice. Could she or the BAU be wrong? Meanwhile, Hotch, after reviewing the notes from Prentiss' mandatory in-house therapy sessions, makes one request of her with regard to her re-entry into the unit.

A cadaver packed in dry ice inside a wooden crate arrives at a highly classified secure Navy facility; Gibbs and company receive a call, then start an investigation on-site; however, those events are a setup to enable the Gibbs gang to test the physical security of the facility. Further, that test is itself a ruse by which to identify and catch a mole within the NCIS. Gibbs, Tony, and Ziva meet the SecNav. The door to Abbyville causes problems. Vance calls a meeting in the evidence garage, and he sends Lee out on an errand. The team meet Lee outside; that leads to a session between Gibbs and Lee in his chat room. Gibbs says that he and Lee now work together.
17. Mystery Science Theater 3000 (1988 TV Series)

A short depicts an overly excited pair of children visiting a glamorized portrayal of a dairy farm before the movie presents a gang of partying goof balls trapped on a homicidal hunter's island where they find themselves his next game. Meanwhile, Tom plays psychiatrist and has a rather unrevealing session with Crow. Things are tense down in Deep 13 as Dr. Forrester's deranged and neglectful mother comes for a visit and spends her time gossiping and catching up with Frank. Crow tries then to open a vegetable stand but Tom ruins it rather abruptly and the SOL crew then gather around for a good old fashioned (though rather chaotic) hoedown. Then, once Crow ruins a mystery murder dinner scenario, he and Tom become convinced that Mike has been plotting to hunt them down and kill them from day one. They take the initiative and trap Mike in a net until he promises not to kill them, a promise he can't make. In the end, Dr. Forrester prepares a lovely dinner for his mother but she and Frank have other plans, plans that don't involve him.
18. Hawaii Five-0 (2010 TV Series)

A young man undergoes hypnosis to find out what is causing him to experience blackouts. During one of his sessions, he remembers that when he was eight years old he witnesses what is believed to be a murder and leads the police to a shallow grave in the jungle. Five-0 is brought in and they soon find out that the victim is a young girl who went missing ten years earlier. At first they think the girl's boyfriend is responsible, but as McGarrett and the team delve further into the case they soon question the circumstances surrounding her death. Also, Danny's sister Bridget is in town for an insurance convention. However, as Danny sees how close she is to one of her fellow agents he becomes fearful that it might lead to something that might be detrimental to her marriage, especially since it brings back memories of a near affair he had with his former partner back in New Jersey.
19. Hawaii Five-0 (2010 TV Series)

The island of O'ahu goes on lockdown when Five-0 hunts a terrorist who starts using weaponized drones on civilians. Meanwhile, McGarrett and Danno must go for a mandated review with a psychologist, resulting in a session which looks a lot like couples therapy.
Steve and Danny are told to go to a therapist which turns into a couples therapy session. Later they are sent to investigate the death of a couple of tourists who were hiking. They were shot with unusual bullets and they check their phone and see that they encountered a drone. Later the drone attacks some other people which forces them to tell people to stay indoors. So they try the one controlling the drone.

It's the day after Thanksgiving, and Randall is still reeling over the revelation that Rebecca knew where William was his entire life. Randall's anger is primarily directed at Rebecca but is not limited to her, as he realizes that William had some part in the decision. Randall believes that Jack didn't know about William's existence, and may or may not be aware that Jack tried to provide male black role models for him when he was growing up and looking for "who he was" inherently. Based on news from Rebecca during Thanksgiving dinner that she is selling the family cabin - a place Kevin, Kate and Randall love but haven't been to in years - they feel it is an appropriate time for an overnight sibling getaway, which will allow them also figuratively to get away from all their issues. The figurative memo about it being a getaway for three doesn't reach Kevin, who casually invites Olivia, who in turn brings an ex named Asher, and Sloane if only because she is the one with a car. Under this situation, the getaway becomes a bunch of mini therapy sessions, where individuals provide their objective perspective of what they see of others around them, or venting about issues concerning others. Randall's primary therapist at the cabin may give him a better view of his life and his mother. Kate, while reverting to her old role as Kevin's protector, turns to familiar territory for support. Kate also gets some wanted and unwanted perspectives of her life, especially with regard to her decision to have gastric bypass surgery. And within this setting, Kevin may have a clearer picture of his feelings for Olivia.

Sally is continuing on with her therapy sessions with Dr. Edna, who believes Sally is progressing so much that the frequency of her sessions can be reduced. However, Sally is also having unofficial therapy sessions with Glen Bishop, about which Betty is unaware. Betty feels the need to speak to someone herself about life, but doesn't want it under the guise of therapy sessions. She will really need to speak to someone after she makes a discovery, which in turn may set Sally's therapy back. Meanwhile, life at SCDP is not getting any better following Lucky Strike's departure. Although Don has an off the record meeting with Heinz arranged by Faye, they have the same opinion as all other potential clients: business is a possibility in six months if SCDP is still in operation. Beyond Lane's need to deal with the operational aspects of the the business such as payroll, none of the partners has a concrete proposal to get them out of their predicament. And an idea from Peggy to Don is dismissed as being unfeasible. Knowing that everyone on the outside sees fear and desperation at SCDP, Don takes a unilateral and bold measure. Whatever the result, Don sees that his life isn't all that bad in comparison to others after he has a not so chance encounter with an old friend.
SCDP is scrambling for new clients but are finding few takers with most potential clients waiting to see if they will survive as a firm. Each of the partners is required to put in new capital to keep their bank happy but it puts Pete Campbell, who doesn't have the money, in a predicament. Fed up with the status quo and inertia around him, Don takes a drastic step without first consulting his partners. He's also surprised when he runs into Midge in his office building but it's not quite what it at first seems to be. Sally's therapy is progressing well and her psychiatrist recommends reducing her sessions, which makes Betty uncomfortable. When she learns that Sally has been sending time with Glen Bishop, she decides it's time for them to move.

The Agency is looking to land an advertising contract to promote tourism to Israel. Don and his team try to come up with a theme but know so little about the country that they're stumped. So Don calls Rachel Menken to see if she has any ideas. Roger Sterling is getting tired of sneaking around with Joan Holloway and suggests she should get her own apartment but she knows better. Peggy comes up with an advertising concept during a testing session for a new line of lipsticks and she's subsequently asked to write copy.
It's Mother's Day. Don is attending to his obligations to Betty, who admits how she feels about being his wife, but his mind is on his childhood following his recent unexpected and unwanted encounters with his half-brother, Adam. At the office, Don is heading a potential campaign for Tourism Israel, who wants to attract high end travelers. Don takes the opportunity to visit with who he considers his favorite Jew, Rachel, who later admits to her sister her true feelings for him. Don may get a better perspective of the client and his work on an evening out with Midge and her bohemian friend, Roy, the "anti-Don". Another Sterling Cooper client is Belle Jolie lipstick, which the male account executives feel ill equipped to work on. As such, they decide to hold a focus group brainstorming session with the female secretaries. Unlike the other secretaries clamoring at the wide array of lipstick colors offered to them, Peggy plays the more serious role that the male account executives watching behind the one-way mirror should be playing. And Roger wants to change the nature of his relationship to his mistress to one of exclusivity, she who has intimate knowledge of his "real" life from her vantage point. She, on the other hand based on that vantage point, has no illusions that her tryst with him is a long term scenario.

Pete is now feeling like the honeymoon phase of his marriage is over as he gets pressure from all sides. Trudy has found an apartment for them in upper Manhattan. Pete isn't sure he wants to live there or if they can afford it on what he considers his meager salary. He would have no issue in borrowing money from his father, but would feel emasculated in borrowing it from her father. He feels unappreciated at work, that feeling which is strengthened during a Bethlehem Steel post-meeting one-on-one debrief with Don. Pete tries to raise his own profile within the company by making what he considers a brilliant but unsanctioned maneuver, this move which could end up backfiring on him. Elsewhere in the office, Don and Rachel have an uncomfortable encounter while she is there for a meeting with anyone but Don. Meanwhile, Betty, based on a situation she literally walks into, learns more about Helen, who is more than willing to confide in who she considers a potential friend in the neighborhood. Out of this burgeoning friendship, Helen asks Betty for a last minute favor to sit with her two children while she goes to do volunteer work for the Kennedy campaign. During that babysitting session, Betty forms an unusual bond with Glen out of pity for Helen's situation. She obliges an unusual request by Glen which shows her warped sense of judgment.

There seems to be familial bliss in the Draper household, especially between Don and Betty. However Bobby is acting out, which leads to a major disagreement between his parents on the issue of discipline. This disagreement places a strain on their bliss, but this change is made all the more clear when Don confesses to Betty for the first time the nature of his own abused childhood. A family that seems to be experiencing even less bliss, specifically below the surface, is Peggy's. Father Gill is a visiting new minister at Katherine's church, one who pays particular attention to Peggy. But a tearful Anita goes to confession and speaks to Father Gill about her frustrations with Peggy regarding Peggy's life, including she having a bastard child. Father Gill indicates to Peggy that he at least knows about the child, which may place walls between Peggy and the Father and Anita. Frustrations are also emerging at Sterling Cooper when staff is called into the office on Palm Sunday for an emergency work session to develop materials for the American Airlines pitch later that week. Don's daughter Sally has to accompany her father that day and adds a bit of spice to the day for some of the staff, especially Joan and Paul. Duck has some devastating news for the hard working staff just prior to the meeting with the American Airlines representatives. Although present at the American Airlines pitch, Roger was inconspicuously absent from the working session, as he is back to his womanizing ways, this time with one of Ken's "paid" girls by the name of Vicky. And Bobbie Barrett pays Don a surprise visit. She uses the guise of pitching a television series for Jimmy for her visit, but in reality her visit was primarily to seduce Don.

The merged companies start to sort things out such as new offices but also deciding who to let go. Ted Cheough makes an immediate impression with the staff. He's not too keen when he finds Don is late for a brainstorming session with the creative team for a potential new client, Fleischmann's margarine. Don is unapologetic about missing the meeting and goads Ted into drinking match that he easily wins. Ted gets payback when he and Don fly to a meeting in Ted's airplane. Bert Peterson is no sooner in the office than Roger fires him.....again. Joan finds herself in considerable pain and Bob Benson takes her to the hospital refusing to leave her there until the emergency is over. She returns the favor. Pete Campbell's mother Dot is suffering from dementia and he finds himself having to care for her after his brother refuses to take her back. Don and Sylvia have been spending a lot of time in a hotel room but his manipulative games bring their relationship to an end.

It's Valentine's Day, but there is not much love in the air. Don is still not feeling the love from the other partners, his job situation of which he has not told anyone outside of the office, that including his family. Dawn at least has agreed to keep him in the loop of what is going on in the office as best as she can. Sally, who is in town unexpectedly for the day, drops in on him, which leads to a further rift between father and daughter. Peggy forgets that it's Valentine's Day until she sees a bouquet of roses sitting in her outer office which she assumes are from Ted. Peggy spends most of the day trying to figure out what to do with the roses and how to deal with Ted from afar. Pete is feeling neglected, by Ted but more by the New York partners, most specifically Roger and Jim. A coast to coast conference call also exposes a problem between Roger and Jim. These issues in combination lead to a problem for Joan in orchestrating a session of musical chairs, the problem which is exacerbated by input from Bertram. However, Joan may, through it all, maneuver her own much appreciated change of office scenery.

After a rapist, Ray Schenkel, is released on parole, the detective that caught him, Dorsey, is sure that he'll revert to his old ways. When a rape occurs in New York, Dorsey talks to Stabler at the scene and convinces him that Schenkel was the perp. While investigating Schenkel, Stabler runs into him at the parole officer's office. He convinces Ray that he's a fellow parolee, and talks the PO into letting him into the group therapy session so that he can keep an eye on Ray. Stabler starts getting more deeply involved in Ray's new life, seeing if he's reformed or not, crossing the line between simple surveilence and entrapment on the way.

Stabler and Benson investigate the allegations of an woman who claims to have been sexually abused as a child by her father. The victim's allegations come as a result of repressed memories retrieved during sessions with her therapist. The detectives' concerns quickly turn to the minor daughters remaining under the father's care despite their mother's objections.

The gang believe that Ted, in wanting to date Dr. Stella Zinman, the dermatologist who will be removing the butterfly tattoo from his back in ten sessions, is breaking what Barney calls the platinum rule. Whereas the golden rule is "love thy neighbor", the platinum rule is never to *love* thy neighbor. In other words, don't get involved intimately with someone who you have no choice but to see in your day to day life. All of Ted's friends tell of a time when they broke the platinum rule, the relationship of which ended badly: Marshall and Lily with their next door neighbors Michael and Laura Girard, Robin with her on-air sportscaster Curt 'the Ironman' Irons, and Barney with Wendy the waitress at MacLaren's. Barney outlines the eight steps that always happen when one breaks the platinum rule. But Ted believes there's a ninth step that makes breaking the platinum rule OK.

Ted visits a tattoo removal clinic to get his butterfly tattoo removed and he's attracted to his doctor, Stella. She warns him that he will have to go through ten one hour sessions and it it will be very painful. Ted understands and he wants to go out with her, but she can't, as long as Ted is her patient and it's a violation of AMA rules. In addition, she tells Ted up front when he suggests that they can go out when the sessions are over, the answer will be no. Ted is convinced that he can change that no into a yes after ten sessions. During these sessions, Ted tries to charm Stella, but it appears it's not working. One ploy he tries is to be very nice to Stella's receptionist, Abbey, but Stella still says no and Abbey is attracted to Ted. When session ten arrives, and the tattoo removal is complete, when Ted asks her once again, we find out why Stella can't go out on a date with him. Ted, upset that this isn't going to happen, finds a way so they can go out together.

After speaking to his friends about the issue, Ted figures that he has ten weeks to try and make Stella change her mind. As the weeks pass and as one ploy after another fails, he thinks that working through Stella's naive receptionist Abby might do the trick, but Abby has other thoughts on her mind. Unknown to Ted, his friends are working behind the scenes trying to help him. At the end of week ten, Ted asks the question and Stella gives him her answer... sort of.

Robin is attending court ordered therapy sessions stemming from an incident where she assaulted someone. The assault had something to do with her feelings for Barney, and not being able to deal emotionally with watching Barney court Nora, especially in the public and over-the-top manner he was doing it. As Robin tells the story, which includes her helping Barney as a "friend" erase the many loose hanging scams to pick up women so that Nora will think him a changed man, Robin's therapist, Kevin, gets more and more exasperated by the long winded nature of Robin's story. Part of that exasperation comes from what he sees as a tangent to the story he wants and needs to hear, but that Robin swears is cogent to the assault charge. That tangent concerns Ted inserting himself into Lily's pregnancy, as he has always seen himself, Marshall and Lily as an unbreakable threesome, like three peas in a pod. As Ted especially had issues with advice doled out by Dr. Sonya - Lily's somewhat free-spirited obstetrician - Marshall, Lily and ultimately Ted had to figure out what role, if any, Ted was going to play in the pregnancy.

Suddenly the building is in lock down, they think it's a drill. So they remain where they are. Reade and Sarah are trapped in the elevator. But Patterson discovers there is no cellular service and when she checks online, there is no service either making her think something is going on. So they through the vent and find Weller. They break out and go to Patterson's lab where she discovers someone is hacking the FBI files down loading files on undercover agents. So they try to stop it but they are trapped and to go through would be dangerous.

DErek and Stiles end up in the swimming pool, besieged by the beast, whose presence paralyzes Derek due to his earlier spine wound, so Stiles must keep him afloat, or release him just long enough to try using his cellphone.

Junior goes into surgery to remove a tumor from his stomach, and while under anesthesia sees visions of the FBI giving him the cure for cancer in exchange for his testimony. Chris gets furious at Paulie when senior mobster accuses him of wearing a wire and repeatedly forces Chris to undergo humiliating searches.

He later realizes that the beautiful woman next door is not really as she appeared to be. He drags himself to his sessions with Melfi and it's after one of these that Uncle Junior's less than capable hit men may their try against Tony. He survives and for public consumption, Tony tells the police it was an attempted car-jacking. The attempted hit seems to invigorate Tony who is pretty sure he knows who was behind it all. All he needs is proof to start settling accounts.

When Johnny Sack hijacks a load of stolen goods that was bound for Tony, the resulting confrontation between the two produces some not-very veiled accusations about the murder of Joe Peeps. Later, Tony learns that a farm where his crew has hidden bodies over the years is being sold, necessitating a nighttime trip (which he assigns to Chris and cousin Tony) to dig up the bodies and deposit them elsewhere. Later at the Bada Bing, Tony loses his temper once more at George the bouncer, beating him badly enough to put him in the hospital. Meanwhile, Janice is getting into trouble because of her own temper, and Bobby threatens her with divorce if she doesn't do anything about it. When Tony joins them for dinner after Janice has had some anger management sessions, he becomes uneasy at the success she has in keeping herself calm, and begins deliberately needling her to make her explode.

Tony clears it with Mustang Sally's godfather, Bobby Bacala Senior, who is visiting from Miami. He's not well and Bobby Junior is worried when he hears that it's his Dad who will make the hit. Uncle Junior gets Johnny Sack to talk to Tony but his intervention is not welcome. Now that he's a made man, Christopher insists that Adriana quit her job at Artie Buco's restaurant. It all leads to a bit of a crisis for Artie who has fallen in love with her. The FBI run into a problem with wiretap in Tony's basement.
Tony takes up Dr. Melfi on her suggestion that Carmela join a therapy session, but things don't go so well and the couple finish the session enraged at each other. Driving home angry, Tony is stopped by a cop and given a speeding ticket, but a phone call to the local assemblyman soon results in a canceled ticket and a fired officer. Artie, meanwhile, becomes upset when Adriana announces she's quitting. He tells Tony that he's in love with her, not caring that her boyfriend Chris is a violent and emotionally disturbed mobster. He later proposes a business deal with Tony, causing his wife Charmaine to announce that their marriage is over.
