She and the Doctor also see people being bundled into cars and driven away. Upon further investigation, rose and the Doctor realize that a creature, The Wire, is feeding on peoples' brainwaves leaving them faceless and mindless. With the help of a teenager whose grandmother has been taken away, the Doctor begins to uncover what is happening. Rose soon becomes one of the wire's victims.

When some of the passengers travel down to the planet's surface, they find London deserted, owing to a series of alien attacks that in recent years always seem to occur at Christmas-time! The Captain purposely lowers the ship's shield resulting in severe damage from asteroids. Joined by Astrid Peth, a waitress, and several passengers including Foon and Movin Von Hoff, Bannakaffalatta, Rickston Slade and Mr. Copper, the Doctor fights robot-like creatures in the form of angels. The angels have been tasked with killing everyone aboard and crashing the space liner into the Earth. The reason why is not obvious though the ship's owner, Max Capricorn, has his reasons.

In a flashback sequence, before the zombie apocalypse, Lori is waiting for Carl at school and tells a friend that she had an argument with Rick the night before. Shane arrives and tells her that Rick is in the hospital because of what happened on the road. In the present, Rick runs seeking help, carrying Carl in his arms while Shane follows them with the hunter, Otis, who had accidentally shot Carl. They reach a farm and Carl is attended by an old man called Hershel. He finds that the bullet has shattered into six fragments and he needs Rick's blood for transfusion to Carl. He withdraw one piece, but he concludes that he needs surgical supplies to remove the other five fragments. Shane and Otis head to a school that is surrounded by walkers to get the medical supplies. One of Hershel's daughters rides a horse to find the searchers and brings Lori to the farm. Meanwhile Dale finds that T-Dog's arm is badly infected and he needs antibiotics. The group agrees to split up, some spending the night on the road waiting for Sophia, planning to travel to the farm in the morning, while Glen drives T-Dog to the farm to get him medical help. When Lori finds that Mr. Hershel is a veterinary, she expresses doubt about his ability to save Carl. Meanwhile, Shane and Otis get the necessary supplies but are under siege by dozens of walkers.

Wyatt tortures Gretchen and goes after Sara.

Trishanne commits a serious mistake, mentioning the name of Frank Whistler to T-Bag while giving Gretchen's file to him. The smart criminal investigates and finds that the receptionist is actually a Federal Agent working for Self. Michael faints and Sara takes him to a neurologist in a hospital using fake identities and he is submitted to a tomography. Dr. Malden recognizes Michael but protects him. Mr. White calls T-Bag to have a meeting with clients to see his "magic". The transportation of Scylla is complicated and General Krantz asks his men to bring David Parker; however Mahone is trying to convincing him to give information about Scylla. Sucre tells Lincoln that Bellick saved him in Sona, and he calls Bellick's mother. While in the underground of The Company's headquarter, Sucre steps on a land mine and Lincoln calls Gretchen to help him. Meanwhile The Company arrives at David Parker's home and Mahone escapes; but David Parker's wife gives the code to understand the map. Lincoln calls Mahone and tells about Sucre and Mahone finds that there is a manual override and the mine is connected to an alarm system; he avoids that Gretchen disarms the mine and saves Sucre. Now Scylla is behind the wall protected by an electronic alarm barrier. However Dr. Malden calls Sara and says that Michael needs to be operated on the next day.

Michael tells Sara that Gretchen is alive and dealing with Agent Self a partnership together with T-Bag. Sara is disturbed with the new partner and recalls the torture she was submitted to. Roland sends an untraceable message to Wyatt asking how much he would pay for Michael and Lincoln. Mr. Feng visits T-Bag in his office in Gate, but Gretchen negotiates Scylla for US$ 125 million, offering US$ 25 million to T-Bag. Lincoln plans the accident with Sucre while Lincoln and Michael rob an ambulance in a federal yard. Gretchen gives a message to Self inviting Sara to meet her in a motel room. Sara is worried about Michael's health. Roland tells Wyatt where Michael and Lincoln are, and the killer shoots Sucre. Michael presses Roland who denies being a rat. Self makes clear to Gretchen and T-Bag that they are worthless. T-Bag plots with Trishanne against Gretchen. Gretechen proposes a cease-fire to Sara, and she asks about Michelle Taylor. Roland removes the GPS monitor and escapes to meet Wyatt, who shots his knees. Roland gives the address of the warehouse in Pier 31, San Pedro, but Michael, Lincoln, Bellick and Mahone arrive just in time and capture Wyatt. The general concludes that the attempt was against his card and orders to move Scylla.

Howard isn't looking forward to the dinner he and Bernadette are having at her parent's house. In particular, he and Bernadette's father, with who Bernadette would really like him to bond, have nothing in common. That dinner, which ends up being as bad for Howard as he initially believed, gets worse when Bernadette pressures Howard and her father to bond through going on a fishing and hunting trip together, activities about which Howard knows nothing and in which he has even less interest. Howard goes on a quest to learn about these stereotypically macho activities in order to please his wife and bond with his father-in-law. Meanwhile, Amy has come down with a fever. As per her and Sheldon's relationship agreement, Sheldon is forced to take care of her, even though he has no interest in doing so. Despite Sheldon's bedside manner being less than caring, the experience ends up being not quite what Amy had expected.

Bernadette and Howard each bring in reinforcements to support their side. With both the documentary and the redecorating, certain other issues come to light which change the focus of the tasks at hand.

Meanwhile, Howard is scheduled to begin his astronaut training. Howard finds that the anticipation of the excitement of the training is nowhere close to the reality of training itself.

Dean is sent back to 1944 and is arrested by the police, but Eliot Ness releases and teams-up with Dean to chase Mr. Snider, who is actually Chronus, the Time God. Meanwhile Sam and Jody are trying to find a means to bring Dean back to 2012.

When a fourth person vanishes in Elwood, Indiana, and the witnesses claim that they have been abducted by aliens, Dean and Sam head to the town to investigate the UFO sightings. They contact the father of the last victim, Mr. Brennan, who is a traditional watchmaker, and the Winchester brothers suspect that the man is hiding something. Dean and Sam interview people on the streets expecting to find a clue. Among the interviewees, they talk to UFO expert Wayne Whittaker Jr. and the apparently crazy Marion, who is an expert in fairies. While investigating the cornfield where the victims had disappeared, Dean is abducted by a bright light. Sam continues to investigate and forces Brennan to disclose that he had used a spell to summon fairies to help him in his store. Dean returns and now the only chance of the brothers is are the advices of Marion about the fairies.

After dispatching Leonard Caul to find Dembe, Red surprises Aram in his apartment to ask for the FBI's help in finding The Djinn, a woman who dresses in all white and fills perverse revenge fantasies for the highest price. Samar makes a connection to financier Bahram Bakhash, who's gone missing, much to the dismay of his CEO son Hamid and daughter Nasim. Liz meets with the woman in white, who doesn't believe her revenge fantasy. However, Liz does succeed in bugging the woman's shoe, which leads to the discovery that she's actually suburban mom Alice. Of course, Red persuades Alice to give up the real Djinn, who is in fact Nasim, perpetrating her own twisted revenge fantasy against her father, who had her sex surgically reassigned when he discovered his number one son was gay. By this time, the FBI has Nasim's mansion surrounded, so Red offers to help her escape in exchange for her client ledger. But Liz pulls out her gun as the chopper ascends, leaving Nasim on the ground along with her ledger - now missing one critical page. In the meantime, Tom adapts the new personality of smarmy grifter Mr. Wainright to insert himself into the life of wealthy playboy gambler Asher Sutton, a conduit to Karakurt. When Liz calls, he tells her that he loves her and has come out of hiding to save her. Across town, Dembe and Mr. Vargas hatch a plan to escape Solomon's clutches. They're home free when Dembe tells Vargas that a classified ad will lead him to Red... which is when Vargas shoots him and calls Solomon.

Dom goes to see Luke Hobbs and finds him in the hospital. Hobbs tells him that Owen Shaw's brother, Deckard paid him a visit. Evidently he's out to get the ones who maimed his brother. He already took out Han. Dominic goes out and runs into Shaw but as Shaw was about to take him out, someone shows up and saves Dom. The man who saved him is a spook known as Mr. Nobody who tells him that if he wants to get Shaw he can help him first he needs to save a computer program designer who created the ultimate spy ware which can find anyone. So Dom along with Brian, Roman, Tej and Letty go and save the designer named Ramsey. She tells them they have to go to Dubai to get the software. But Shaw shows up to try and foil them.

Elena decides to go to the Salvatore house to talk to Stefan, but finds his charming brother Damon instead. Damon reveals surprising information about Stefan's past, and when Stefan arrives home, Elena is confused and embarrassed to realize that he isn't happy to see her there. Meanwhile, Vicki's memory of the attack begins to come back to her. Also, Damon begins to set his sights on Caroline.

In a old news video, Elena can clearly see Stefan, who looks exactly like he does now. Meanwhile, Damon uses his powers to try to summon Caroline to let him out, and he kills Zach when he tries to stop her. Elsewhere, Logan and Aunt Jenna go out on a date, while it is revealed that Logan is part of a secret society involving the mayor, Sheriff Forbes, and most of the town officials whom are aware of the Salvator brothers existence. Logan tries to gain access to Jenna's house so he can steal the Gilbert watch as part of the society's plans for stopping both Stefan and Damon.

Caroline sleeps with Damon and when she wakes-up, she finds that she was bitten by him. Bonnie has a bad feeling when she touches the hand of Stefan but Elena ignores her warnings about her boyfriend and invites them for dinner at home to know each other. Meanwhile, Tyler throws a ball at him, but Stefan catches it before reaching him and Mr. Tanner invites Stefan to join the football team. Damon uses Caroline to be invited to enter in Elena's home and he succeeds in his intent. Jeremy and Tyler fight against each other and Stefan avoids the worst but exposes a weird situation to Elena. When the high school's football team is ready to play a game, Mr. Tanner finds Stefan and Damon discussing on the street and Damon shows to his brother that he does not have any humanity left.

Jeremy can't stand all his friends counting on Bonnie and her magic, so he ends up telling Damon that she forfeited her life by bringing him back to full life. Caroline depressed missing Tyler, hopes to get closer to professor Wes Maxfield trough his assistant Jesse, who seems most receptive to her romantic passes, but turns out another pawn in bloody games, whose life she can only saving by turning him into a vampire. Matt realizes suffering from time-outs since a sinister encounter with a Cezch Traveller and records some on video, thus discovering it's a form of possession which comes with blackening eyes and a death-treat. Tyler returns fro Bonnie's memorial service.

One of the friends is just getting into a relationship and two are just getting out of one each. Monica is in the former category, going on a real/not-so-real date, dates with guys she's interested in being a rare occurrence. But she is excited by her upcoming one with Paul the Wine Guy from her place of work. Out on their date, their intimate conversation includes the fact that trauma from his last relationship has left him sexually incapable, something that only the right woman like Monica can fix, and she apparently does. Later however she finds that it was just a line to get her into bed, and thus her streak with the "wrong guy" continues. Ross is one of the two in the getting out of a relationship category. He and his ex-wife Carol broke up when she found out she was a lesbian. However waltzing into town is his old crush and Monica's best friend from high school Rachel, who is the second friend on a break-up: she has just left her fiancé Barry at the altar, she still in her wedding dress when she first shows up at the coffee house. This move was based on the fact that she realized she was more interested in being married than in being with Mr. Potato Head lookalike Barry. She and Monica had not seen each other since high school, she turning to Monica now since Monica is the only person she knows in the city. Rachel barges into Monica's life since she has no skills, no job and no money - up to this point in her life, she has lived off the wealth of her father - but needs to flee the direction of her life with Barry and her parents. Although she now has a place to stay with Monica, she needs a job and she needs a new support network. As old flames die slow and reignite easily, Ross hopes to be one of her more intimate supports.

He accidentally spits out her gum which he finally accepted, then picks up some to put back in his mouth and begins to choke when he realizes it wasn't the original gum. The others kill time in Monica's apartment, lit by the light from a Menorah, telling stories of the weirdest places they ever had sex. Joey tells Ross he waited too long moving onto Rachel and is now too far into the 'friend's zone.' Ross still tries to make a move on Rachel while stargazing on the balcony. Joey keeps the other girls inside by pretending Ross prepares a birthday surprise party for Monica. A wandering cat scratches Ross. Rachel and Phoebe go knocking on their neighbor's doors to find the cat's owner, seeing through odd neighbor Mr. Heckles's who lies about being the owner. On their mission, they bump into the hunky, and actual cat-owner, Paolo, who only speaks Italian. Rachel brings him back to the apartment where he outstrips Ross's flirting, even not being able to speak English.

The gang discuss what to get Monica and Chandler as engagement presents. Monica really wants Phoebe's grandma's chocolate chip cookie recipe but Phoebe's grandma made her swear never to let the recipe out of the family.She finally agrees to give it to Monica. Unfortunately, the fire in Phoebe's apartment destroyed the recipe so she gives Monica and Chandler the only cookie left as a present. Monica tries to figure out the recipe from the cookie and makes heaps of different ones. Rachel tries to teach Joey how to sail which proves to be quite difficult. Chandler wants to bond with Mr. Geller but when they went to the steam room after their racket ball game Chandler accidentally sits on Mr Geller's lap. Monica finds out that Phoebe's grandma didn't have a secret recipe and that she probably got the recipe for Toll House cookies from the back of the Nestles chocolate chip bag, because Phoebe says that her grandma got the recipe from her French friend "Nestle Toulouse". Chandler clears things up with Mr. Geller and Rachel gives up teaching Joey and enjoys Joey's way of sailing: sitting on the boat in the marina drinking beer.

Mr. Heckles, the friends' grumpy, delusional neighbor one floor below, dies just while he was poking his broom at the floor again; having no-one closer, his will left all his possessions to 'the two noisy girls above', who think it's his last revenge as there's nothing of value but a mountain of junk to clear out, but several items do have an impact. Rachel is determined to get one or two tasteless items 'of her own' into Monica's carefully coordinated interior. Chandler is shocked to find how similar Heckles was to him at his age, which terrifies him he might end up just as lonely and mean- time for his 'safety girl', or even accept the possibility of commitment? Meanwhile Phoebe deliberately drives Ross to despair with her refusal to accept either evolution or gravity as a scientifically proven fact.

Joey is the only "guest" at Chandler's bachelor party because Chandler is embarrassed and doesn't really want to have the party. The stripper comes a-knocking but turns out to be a hooker. Mr Green goes to see Ross to yell at him but unfortunately for Ross Mona is there too so they are both yelling at Ross. Rachel explains everything to her dad and Mona who makes up with Ross.

Ross fails utterly even though the friends try to make him look good. When Rachel meets Mr Stevens again they talk for ages and start dating. Ross sees his chance of getting Mr Stevens blessing because Rachel can change Mr Steven's opinion of Ross. Joey is about to lose his job on Mac and CHEESE because the robot inventor and controller doesn't like him. The robot guy promises Joey to get his job back if Joey teaches him how to talk to women. Rachel accidentally tells Mr Stevens about Ross' three marriages. Elizabeth tells her father that she doesn't care what he thinks of Ross and neither does Ross.
