Robert Reynolds was born in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Robert co-founded FunDMC in 2013 as a fever dream inspired by both RunDMC's manipulation of "Walk this Way" and Weird Al's various Polka Medleys. Rock Sugar's "Don't Stop the Sandman" was also a huge motivator. Robert's musical theory knowledge acted as the anchor of most of FunDMC's mashups, as it allowed him to blend their songs together in a harmonious and seamless fashion.
While performing for FunDMC, Robert began exploring more behind the scenes producing and arranging. This lead to the eventual Silent Night Christmas video. See the positive reaction from such a video reinforced his confidence to continue doing more side projects based out of the FunDMC brand.
