Millicent was aged 12 when she enrolled in the Italian Conti Stage School where fellow pupils included Anthony Newley and Johnny Briggs. One of the first shows she was in was Blue For a Boy. A while later she spent three years on Broadway in The Boyfriend in which she played every female part during the run. She then played the lead in the show on it's London West End run. She joined the television show TW3 in 1963 and was in it for about one and a half years which led to her own show Mainly Millicent. She was then picked by Ned Sherrin for Side by Side in New York. In 1977 she was in the film Nothing But the Best. She was married to the singer Ronnie Carrol and divorced in 1964. Her second marriage was to Mark who she met in 1977.- Millicent Martin is known for Urchin (2007).
