Michael Kennedy is an award-winning, versatile director with a reputation for creating imaginative work that achieves critical and commercial success while addressing significant social issues. He has directed 23 feature-length films/TV movies and over 230 episodes of prime-time drama and comedy including the entire first season of the ground-breaking hit series "Little Mosque On The Prairie" that used humor to attack racism against Muslims in the post-911 world. He was a co-winner of The Canada Award (one of the Special Gemini Awards) for promoting diversity in Canadian television. He was recently nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction, TV Movie for "#Roxie", which was also nominated for Best TV Movie. In 2023 Michael was inducted as a "Visionary" onto the Image Arts Wall of Fame at Toronto Metropolitan University.
Michael is often brought in early to help develop a new TV series; he has directed the first episodes filmed and/or aired for 15 different series including: "Little Mosque...", "Pure Pwnage", "Delmer and Marta", "North South", "Mental Block", "Listen Missie", "Screech Owls", "P.R.", "Taking The Falls", "My Life and a Movie", "The Good Germany", "This Space For Rent" and "Jets". He was also one of the directors of the acclaimed comedy series "Kids In The Hall" and directed 14 episodes of the award-winning "Made In Canada" series starring Rick Mercer.
His international reputation has led Michael to direct movies in Mexico, Belize, Germany, Hungary, India, the US, and across Canada. Michael also wrote the scripts for three of the feature films he directed.
Michael has received: 2 Directors Guild of Canada Awards from 8 nominations; a nomination for a Directors Guild of America Award; winner of Best Director at the Canadian Music Video Awards; 4 Best Director Gemini/CSA nominations; and 3 wins from 11 nominations for Best Director at the Canadian Comedy Awards.

Michael Kennedy is a London based actor and writer, known for his frequent collaboration with Director, Luke Shelley and Writer, Craig Busek. Michael appeared in his first short film 'Storey' back in 2015, since then his skills in acting and writing have increased, this is shown in his newest short, a western 'Fear The Unknown Men', which he wrote and starred in.- Born outside of San Francisco and raised outside of Los Angeles, Michael is an Actor/Dancer/Singer and technology enthusiast. While based in Los Angeles, Michael has been working professionally on both the West and East Coasts from an early age. John Michael Kennedy is a creative talent with a passion for writing, directing and producing from Staffordshire, England. After attaining a B.A. in Law from Birmingham City University, he would later follow his ultimate ambition, working in the film industry. Having a solid background in all aspects of commerce has provided John with the necessary skills to succeed in the film industry. John has produced 10 short films including three in which he was writer, director and producer. John wrote and directed "The Enemy Within" and "Two Wasted Lives," which were presented in the Court Metrage section of the Cannes Film Festival where they received glowing accolades from highly regarded producers such as Jean-Louis Levi. Furthermore, the films received awards and nominations in the official selections at numerous film festivals. John has written, directed and produced a trilogy of high spec commercials for Victoria's Secret, Calvin Klein and Diesel. John aims to create commercial video which infuses the brand and his dark, mysterious and thriller edged style of storytelling and approach to film. He is in contact with a selection of commercial production companies in pursuit of his commercial career. In the near future John will be shooting a trilogy of shorts, "Invincible," "Breathe," and "Creep." Kevin Michael Kennedy a.k.a. "K.M.K." was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. At age 9 he began singing in church and studying music. It was then he had the opportunity to study the Violin and by age 10, he performed in his first public recital. He moved on to also study the Cello and the Clarinet and at age 14, Kevin made his professional debut performing at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. As his interest in performing began to grow, Kevin auditioned and became a part of the Teens Unlimited Repertory Company. Shortly thereafter, he booked his first National T.V. Commercial and Print Ad for a "Teens Against Drunk Driving" campaign! His face and his voice have been associated with many T.V. and Radio Ads over the years! As a vocalist, he has performed in National Tours, Concerts, Regional Theater, Recordings, and as a back-up vocalist for several recording artists including Diana Ross! In 2007 he returned to Lincoln Center to perform in their production of Cendrillon! Kevin is the Writer/Composer for the song "He's the Man" - The Obama Song, written for the 2012 Obama Presidential Campaign! He is also one of the co-founders of the R&B Cover Band "The JewelTones", and the founder of "The K.M.K. Union Gospel Choir," who made their national T.V. debut on the final episode of "30 Rock" with Alec Baldwin.
