- Mark Thomas Miller was born in Louisville, Kentucky, grew up in Glen Ellyn, IL, and went to High School in Albany, NY. His father is a retired grain merchant and his mother is celebrated oil painter Mary Miller. After one year at Wagner College on Staten Island, he dropped out to pursue his acting career in New York City--which included studying at the Actors Studio with the late Lee Strasberg and appearing in numerous plays and commercials. He eventually moved to Los Angeles and got his big break in the NBC series Misfits of Science (1985). In 1991, he was in a disfiguring accident that stalled his career, so he became a building contractor specializing in home remodeling for the handicapped, which he did until 2003. Mark made a minor attempt at reviving his career by performing with the Groundling Improv Group, but soon found out that he had lost the patience required for the business of acting. In 2003, he started a product engineering and development company. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.

BAFTA winning and Emmy nominated composer Mark Thomas is one of the most sought-after film & tv drama composers in the UK today. Classically trained, Mark is stylistically innovative and always ready to experiment and embrace something new.
A first-choice for comedy film and tv drama, Mark's credits include all 10 series of Tiger Aspect's 'Benidorm' for ITV, 5 series of 'Episodes' (for which he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy) starring Matt LeBlanc, Tamsin Grieg & Steve Mangan; 36 episodes of Tidy Productions' brilliant comedy series 'Stella' created by and starring Ruth Jones and more than 150 episodes of 'Shaun The Sheep' created by Aardman Animations. It was for feature film 'Twin Town', directed by Kevin Allen and starring Rhys Ifans and Dougray Scot, that Mark won his much deserved BAFTA for Best Original Music.
Comedy drama rarely requires 'comedy music' and it's Mark's considered, consistent and intelligent approach to storytelling that allows him to create music that engages with the audience - whatever the genre; he's experienced and exciting. A safe pair of hands but always striving, with proven success, to deliver something extra.- Producer

Mark Williams-Thomas is an investigative reporter and former police officer who is best known for posthumously exposing the broadcaster and charity fundraiser Sir Jimmy Savile as one of the UK's most prolific child molesters. His investigation in turn led to a sequence of events which brought to light the historic sex crimes of other broadcasters Stuart Hall and Rolf Harris and publicist Max Clifford, all of whom went on to be convicted and jailed.
As a police officer since 1989, Williams-Thomas was a detective and family liaison officer. He launched the investigation into the child abuse of the music industry figure Jonathan King, leading to his successful conviction and imprisonment in 2001. As something of a renegade, Williams-Thomas would disclose information to the press if he considered such disclosures were in the public interest. If those disclosures happened today, Williams-Thomas would be facing arrest or suspension. Willams-Thomas has made public his resentment of changes brought in which restrict police officers from talking to the media following the Elizabeth Filkin report on Metropolitan police links with journalists.
Williams-Thomas left the police in 2000 and set up his own independent child protection firm, WT Associates. His reputation was immensely enhanced by his independent investigation into the depraved crimes of the late Sir Jimmy Savile, in which he spent six months properly examining the rumours and testimonies which had tragically never been done by the police during the so-called "national treasure"'s lifetime. Williams-Thomas is a frequent guest on British television offering comment and analysis on stories regarding child protection issues and remains a committed crusader who will not rest until every paedophile in Britain has been brought to justice.- Actor
