Yeon Jin Lee is a Korean-American writer and filmmaker. She is an alumna of the M.F.A. Program in Film & TV Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Prior to film, Yeon Jin worked for five years as a computer scientist in the Intelligent Robotics Group at NASA, and as a technical director intern at Pixar Animation Studios. She believes that filmmakers have the unique opportunity to provoke thought and engender empathy through storytelling.
