Meyer was born in Greeley, Colorado and attended the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. Meyer adapted and directed his first feature in 1989 from the Newberry Award winning novel Across Five Aprils (1990). He followed that with original and adaptive works for television in including Perfect Alibi (1995) with Teri Garr. In 1997 Kevin co-wrote the original screenplay A Smile Like Yours (1997) for Paramount starring Greg Kinnear. Meyer also produced the a series of documentary shorts for the National Museum of the United Stated Army in Washington D.C. Aside from original screenplays, Meyer has adapted a number novels, most recently 12 Mighty Orphans (2021) starring Luke Wilson, Martin Sheen and Robert Duvall, released by Sony Pictures Classics.- Additional Crew

Kevin Meyer, an American Music Artist, born in Queens, NY on 03/13/1989 has made an impact in the music industry since 2011. Meyer is a Musician, Singer, Rapper, and Entertainment Performer. He became most notable opening for MTV and Billboard Artists on Tour for Trace Cyrus, Hawthorne Heights, Ryan Cabrera, John Walker from Panic! At The Disco, and more. In 2009, he released his Debut EP titled Take Me Home which was Produced and Mixed by Mario Salvati whose credits include Blondie, Debby Gibson, Bob Dylan, and the soundtrack for the Beverly Hills Cop and Beverly Hills Cop II movies starring Eddie Murphy. In 2011, when Teddy Geiger musician and actor was on tour Meyer opened for Geiger in New York. The 2005 Pop Icon Teddy Geiger stars in The Rocker which also costars Rainn Wilson, Christina Applegate, Josh Gad, Emma Stone, Jason Sudeikis, Bradley Cooper, and more. In 2012, Kevin Meyer joined the bill for the summer Vans Warped Tour along with All Time Low, Taking Back Sunday, Machine Gun Kelly, Yellowcard, Mod Sun, G Eazy, Senses Fail, and the rest of the lineup for select east cost dates. In Scranton, PA he opened for Adam Lazaro and John Nolan from Taking Back Sunday at the Digi-Tech stage. Meyer also opened for Yellowcard, Kris Roe from The Attaries, Anthony Raneri from Bayside, Brian Marquis, Vinnie Caruana from I Am Avalanch, Transit, and more on the Full Sail University's Acoustic Basement Stage during the very successful and most popular festival in North America. After the Tour, Meyer entered the studio for his follow-up EP Places We Belong. The 5-song Pop and Rock release was Co-Produced and Mixed by Steven Haigler (Fuel, Pixies, Brand New, and the Scream 3 soundtrack) and Mike Watts (As Tall As Lions, The Dear Hunter, Story Of The Year, and the Marvel Soundtrack for Iron Man 3 which stars Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow). The EP features indie rock band The Dear Hunter's drummer Nick Crescenzo in its entirety. In 2014, Kevin Meyer released his 4 song EP titled Let It All Out which features drummer Atom Willard from the band Against Me and past bands The Offspring, Danko Jones, Rocket From The Crypt, and Blink182s Tom Delonge's Alternative band Angels And Airwaves. Meyer released his fourth release in 2017 titled Four featuring the songs "Ultimatium" and "Ordinary Love Song". During the writing and release In 2017, Meyer fought a nasty custody battle for 11 months regarding relocation from NY to New Hampshire over his then 4-year-old son. After losing by default due to a breakdown and a poor mental state he was not as active in music and his social media presence. However, for the 10th anniversary of his Debut, he released remixes called Take me Home The Remixes. From 2017 through 2020 unfortunately Meyer was suffering with Suicide tendencies and substance abuse. On March 30th, 2020 he attempted to take his life at his Long Island, NY home. He consumed enough narcotics to pronounce him dead putting him into a coma for over 3 days from Benson's and smoke inhalation from a house fire which was no accident, he clearly wanted to die. Post Covid he is in recovery, no longer Suicidal, and looking to tell his story through both music and by helping spread suicide prevention with a fundraiser that will benefit victims as well. In March of 2023 he finalized his fundraiser called SPPBKM which proceeds will go to a non-profit organization he has chosen to work with and is going Public April 15, 2023. He is also writing both his comeback releases from his involuntary hiatus. He has shared on social media The Prelude EP called Detached and his first Full-length Album titled To Hell And Back both which are about his life and suicide state. It has been made clear on social media sites through his post and other sources that both releases are a change of genres mixing elements of Hip Hop and Rock. It is also aware recording, additional co-writing, producing, and mixing will be done at The Mix Palace who's Gold and Platinum Records include working with B.I.G. Notorious on the blockbuster hit Juice soundtrack. Also, with Redman and Maria Carey.
