Katia Gomez grew up with her Cuban grandparents on the outskirts of Little Havana. On her own at a very young age, she found that she felt most alive when performing for other people. Ever since, her versatility, fearlessness and sensitivity are always on display in her performances, which have ranged from Oscar-nominated features to hit television series.
Most notably in film, Katia can be seen acting opposite Margot Robbie in Damien Chazelle's "Babylon", Jennifer Hudson in Taraji P. Henson's "Tell It Like A Woman", Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart in Etan Cohen's "Get Hard", Melissa Leo in Phillip Noyce's "Blood Relative" and Kelly Reilly and Lily Taylor in Ciarán Foy's "Eli". In Television, Katia can be seen on Amazon's "Bosch: Legacy", FX's "Class of '09", ABC's "How To Get Away With Murder" and NBC's "Superstore", amongst many others. In addition to her work on screen, Katia's love for the stage continues to bring her back to theatre, including turns in "Children of a Lesser God", "Kita Y Fernanda" and the World Premiere of "The Last, Best Small Town".
Katia graduated with both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Florida International University before going on to train with the world-famous Second City Chicago, the prestigious Conservatory at Act One Studios and the renowned Beverly Hills Playhouse.
In addition to her work as an actress, Katia also has been a practicing CPA and business consultant for over ten years.
