Jose was born on, May 29 1991, in Tehuixtla, Morelos, Mexico to Luis Mena-Torres and Evangelina Garcia de Mena (Peralta) who immigrated to the USA and raised him and his two brothers in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As a young boy while he wasn't a bad student he would always have a hard time focusing when the topics weren't about his true love, movies. Like all the 90s kids he grew up watching all the amazing work of Disney but it wasn't until he saw Jurassic Park and later on Titanic that he knew he one day wanted to be part of this magical business.
After graduating high school in 2009 he was accepted into UNLV's film program but couldn't go due to money issues and the bad economy during that year so sadly his dream seemed to have been lost.
But in 2018 after watching many more amazing movies by his favorite actors he decided to pursue his dream again and began to train at 1Media Productions with Frank Parrillo, Dan Hewitt Owens, and Tim Colceri.
Jose also loves to write and is now finally on his path to one day becoming a great actor, writer and director.- Cinematographer
