Born in Decatur, Alabama, his birth name was Jacob Miller. He is one of three children and has a fraternal twin brother. The first half of his youth was spent with his mother and the second half was spent with his father up until graduation from Cullman High School. Jake continued his education after being granted Academic and Athletic (track & field) Scholarships at Wallace State Community College. After achieving an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts he furthered his education with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Marketing after taking advantage of another Academic Scholarship to Jacksonville State University. Upon graduating from JSU he moved to Los Angeles, California to study theater, film and television with several notable teachers and mentors. In 2013 he booked his first small role on Criminal Minds, created his own content in the form of short films and web series, then landed a guest star appearance on Longmire in 2015. Shortly afterwards, he appeared as a recurring character in Fear the Walking Dead. That momentum carried onward into roles on several more televisions series including Shut Eye, NCIS and Narcos.- Manager

He was trained at the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, at which he studied all aspects of theater under the instruction of such actors, playwrights and directors as Emily Bergl, Adam Bock, Forrest McClendon, Michael Cadmen and The Debate Society. He further trained at MN Acting Studio with Matt Newton.
Jake has recently just finished his supporting roll Clint in the short film Giant written and directed by Dylan Tuccillo. He's also performed in the stage production of A Few Good Men as Private Louden Downie at the Pagosa Springs Center For The Arts.

Jake Miller was born in Pierre, South Dakota, USA on Feb. 4th, 1986. He is a medical student at the Sanford School of Medicine of The University of South Dakota, pursuing a combined M.D./Ph.D. degree. Jake is also a screenwriter, with one feature-length script "Dark Age", co-written with Andrew Kightlinger, that is a semi-finalist in the 2013 Eerie Horror Film Festival Script Competition, and one short script "Destroyer", co-written with Andrew Kightlinger and Rod Peyton, that has been produced and is in post-production (2013).- Art Department
