- Liv Lisa Fries (born 1990) is a German actress. In 2017, she gained an international following as the female lead Charlotte Ritter in the German TV series Babylon Berlin.
Born in Berlin, Fries wanted to become an actress when she was 14 years old after watching Léon: The Professional because she was impressed by Natalie Portman's performance. Her first role in Atomised (2005) (German: Elementarteilchen) was cut. Her debut occurred in 2006 with an episode of Schimanski, in which she played the female lead role.
Her performance in the German made-for-television film Sie hat es verdient as an aggressive, frustrated teenager named Linda who tortures one of her peers was praised by critics and audiences alike. Fries said that during filming, she started feeling lonely and isolated, just like her character.
In 2013, she starred in the German tragicomedy Zurich (original title Und morgen Mittag bin ich tot). She received wide critical acclaim for her performance as Lea, a young woman with cystic fibrosis. According to Fries, she prepared for the role by meeting with a patient with the disease, in addition to running up stairs while breathing through a straw.
Fries also plays a recurring role in the 2017 TV series Counterpart.
Fries studied abroad as an exchange student in Beijing. In addition to her native tongue German, she speaks English, French and Mandarin. After receiving her Abitur in 2010, she enrolled to study philosophy and literary science, but dropped out as her career as an actress progressed. - Actor

Fries was born in Chicago, Illinois, moving with his sister and parents to Madison, Wisconsin as an infant and finally settling in La Habra, California where he was raised.
He attended Servite High School in Anaheim where he played football and then went on to Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa where he played on the basketball team. From there he continued on to Cerritos Community College in Norwalk, California before receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Chapman University in Orange, California.
After graduation, Chris was involved in radio broadcasting, working as an on-air personality, board operator and in the promotions department at 95.9 FM KEZY, an adult contemporary station in Anaheim, California (1993) where he met, and married his wife. It was at KEZY where Fries first learned of voiceover work and its potential, which planted the seed for later life. After leaving radio (1995), he entered the world of municipal government where he worked for ten years, but knew that his passion lied elsewhere. After the failing economy forced his layoff from his government post (2004), Chris decided to take the plunge and dive into voiceover full-time. After numerous classes, networking, cutting a demo and securing a small LA agent, success began slowly. But as he improved, and bookings increased, he moved up to larger and stronger representation finding success in a number of voiceover genres including commercials, video games, narration and radio imaging to name a few.
Since the pandemic, Chris almost exclusively works out of his Orange County, CA home studio, instead of commuting 50 miles into Los Angeles studios for work studio.

William Dale Fries, Jr. was born on November 15, 1928 in Audubon, Iowa. Although he showed musical promise as a child, Fries nonetheless was more interested in a career in graphic design. He attended the University of Iowa and majored in fine arts. While at the University of Iowa Bill also studied music and played in the school's concert band. Following graduation Fries got a job handling art chores at an Omaha, Nebraska television station. He began hosting his own TV program after working at this particular job for five years. In the early 60's Bill started working as the art director for the Omaha advertising agency Bozell Jacobs. In 1972 he created the character of truck driver C.W. McCall for a series of TV commercials for the Metz Baking Company. McCall was originally portrayed by Dallas, Texas actor Jim Finlayson. These ads were not only hugely popular with viewers, but also lead to Fries winning the prestigious Clio Award. In 1974 Bill recorded the country song "Old Home Filler-Up 'an Keep on A-Truckin' Cafe" using the pseudonym C.W. McCall. The song was a Top 20 country radio hit. The follow-up single "Wolf Creek Pass" did even better. In January, 1976 Fries scored a huge crossover smash with the rousing trucker's country anthem "Convoy," which peaked at #1 on both the pop and country radio stations alike. The tremendous success of "Convoy" played a key role in popularizing the whole 70's CB craze and the song was adapted into a theatrical film by noted director Sam Peckinpah in 1978 (a new version of "Convoy" was prominently featured on the soundtrack to the movie). Bill recorded several more albums and singles before quitting the music business in 1980. Fries became active in the environmental movement in the early 80's. In 1986 Bill was elected mayor of the town of Ouray, Colorado and would ultimately serve two full terms as mayor. In 1990 Fries released his last solo album "The Real McCall: An American Storyteller" which contrary to common belief, it was not an attempt at a comeback but done for his fans, so they could have some of his music on CD. He also released one album with Mannheim Steamroller in 2003 titled American Spirt. Bill Fries lives in Ouray, Colorado with his wife Rena.- Producer

Planck Fries began her career at CBS San Diego and Television City at ABC in Los Angeles. She started in local news, became a special effects engineer, and then transitioned to working on many of ABC's network television shows.
Soon after departing from the networks, Planck Fries was offered a position in development and production, which began at Charles Fries Entertainment. She then helped establish a new company and IPO, focusing on bringing back beloved characters such as Casper and Richie Rich from Harvey Comics Entertainment for film and television.
Planck Fries decided to go her way and pursue her passion for developing harrowing stories and biopics for film and television. She acquired the rights and commissioned a screenplay for a biopic based on a well-known case from Project MK ULTRA, a CIA project involving human experiments. Her work on this high-profile case led to an invitation to the Canadian Parliament by the Prime Minister of Canada, Brian Mulroney. She also sought well-known and compelling intellectual properties for potential film or series adaptations, such as The Boy Who Saw True and is currently back in development. She split her time between Los Angeles and the U.K. over several decades, creating content for the BBC and other U.K. organizations, eventually establishing a second home there.
2018, after deciding to return to her hometown of Santa Monica, CA, she founded Doodleflix Entertainment, closing her affiliated office in the U.K. The challenges of the COVID pandemic and the rise of the streaming world made her realize that streaming would eventually complement cinema and that cinema would return; however, Planck Fries emphasized in her work the importance of standing by a great story and script rather than relying solely on superheroes and adaptations to rebuild cinema and engage audiences.
In 2020, Fries was invited to participate as an Executive Producer for the award-winning documentary feature film "Pure Grit" by Irish groups Underground Films and Frontline Films. The film, produced by Rachel Lysaght and directed by Kim Bartley, won the Best Documentary Award at the 2021 Galway Film Fleadh in Ireland and the Best Editing Award at the Newport Beach Film Festival in 2022. It is set to be released theatrically in the United States.- Ted Fries is known for Redwood Forest Trail (1950).
