Emmanuel Kwasi Adjei is a Ghanaian-Dutch film director, writer, and creative director, whose work has explored the realms between film, music, and visual arts. With a primary interest in high-octane storytelling, Adjei is best known for his genre-bending films that interrogate concepts of power, freedom, and displacement, told through his multi-layered, dramatic narratives. Adjei's career has been marked by successful collaborations with a variety of global names such as Beyoncé, Madonna, Zendaya, Jay-Z, Julia Roberts, FKA Twigs, Willow Smith, and Sevdaliza. His work has been nominated for a Grammy and is screened at Academy-qualifying film festivals around the world.
Adjei holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Utrecht School of the Arts (NL) and went further to study Film at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent (BE).- Actor
