A former member of award winning Irish band, Republic Of Loose, Dec has been producing music for artists, commercials, cinema, TV and radio for fifteen years. Projects and clients include TG4, UTV, Guinness, Mini, Becks, The Irish Government, Abrakebabra and the Montenegro Tourism Board. In 2020, Dec was nominated for Best Music at the Vancouver Horror Show festival for his score to Brian Robinson's short film 'Cultured'. In 2019, Dec contributed additional music to two collaborations with composer Sarah Lynch; 'The 8th', an award winning documentary on the Repeal The 8th campaign, and the upcoming UK feature film, Don't Leave Me', directed by Hadi Hajaig. In 2018, working with John Broe, he composed the theme tune and soundtrack music for Irish sitcom 'Bridget & Eamon', directed by Jason Butler, starring Jennifer Zamperelli and Bernard O'Shea, airing on RTE and DAVE. In 2012, with Stephen Robinson, Declan composed additional music for 'The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby' starring Jessica Chastain and James McEvoy. In collaboration with Cormac Breslin, Dec composed the theme tune for The All Ireland Talent Show for Tyrone Productions, and wrote the music for 'Moore Street Masala', a Bollywood musical film produced by Dyehouse Films. They also composed several compositions for projects with director Gary Shore (Dracula Untold). In collaboration with Ger Keily, Dec produced the soundtracks to two documentaries on TG4; 'Mná an IRA', directed by Martina Durac, and 'John Ford - Dreaming the Quiet Man', directed by Sé Merry Doyle. Dec has worked with many great artists from the Irish music industry over the last twenty years including Sinead O'Connor, Hozier, Paul Brady, Shane McGowan, Snow Patrol, Cathy Davey and JJ72.- Declan Quinn is known for Tell 'Em Steve-Dave: Live at the Gramercy Theatre (2017), What Say You?
