In 2009 David began a ten year hiatus from acting when he entered the world of Parkour when he co-founded the WFPF- World Freerunning Parkour Federation and non-profit IPF- International Parkour Federation, along with friend and business partner VIctor Bevine, but the urge to act and sing never left him!

Scott David Thompson is a musician/composer from Detroit, MI. Scott was introduced to the guitar at an early age by his father, who was a songwriter/guitarist/singer and later, a music store owner. In his early teens he acquired his first electric guitar and began studying the styles of various rock guitarists, quickly focusing on progressive rock artists and soon after taking up formal classical guitar training. At that time, he was also selected as the electric bassist in his high school's jazz band, which led to a rapid education in not only jazz, but American standards, pop music and musical arranging. He learned orchestration in this setting as well and took this multiple set of skills with him to college at Western Michigan University - playing in several touring rock bands, performing on and writing music for television and doing session guitar work. His live performance resume soon contained everything from playing in various churches, weddings, memorial services and parties. He has acquired a large musical palette through these experiences and one can hear influences from rock, to new age music; from jazz to heavy metal and classical composers in the music he creates.
Prior to the turn of the century, Scott turned his focus on composing for film/media/television. Teaming up with high school friend Michael Kallio, a film director in LA; Scott has amassed a large repertoire of musical compositions that have been featured in several works of Kallio's films and elsewhere, over the past two decades and counting. In 2021 his first full-length score was completed for the movie "The Scout." His work has also been heard in "Mutant Swingers from Mars," "Left Turn on Red Light," "Monday the 16th" and another feature film "Broken Wing," in production in 2021. Scott also scores multiple short videos and these are often featured on his YouTube channel and official website.- David Thompson is known for Lights, Thunder, Action Show (2020).
