Born in Renfrew, Ontario, Canada to parents Stanley Buelow and Shirley (nee Coleman). Brenda, his older sister and his younger sister, Amanda were also children to Stanley and Shirley.
After high school, he married Denise Boisclair and had one child, Ashley Buelow.
He was raised in a resort community, where he became acquainted with Kevin Gillis, his future boss and creator of the animated series for CBC "The Raccoons" which was filmed in Ottawa. This would give him the taste of cinematic success as the well received series won a prestigious Gemini award for Best Family Programming. After doing a couple of seasons of the series and a variety of Television specials and one Feature Film, he ventured forth to pursue other interests most notably as a portrait and glamour photographer.
Jaime moved to Burnaby, BC in 1994 and worked in various positions until 2015 when he was encouraged by a friend to return to TV and Film. Since that time, he has has worked primarily as a set painter but has also done construction and also providing first aid, his latest job being the primary first aid and safety officer for the Netflix production "Virgin River" as well as providing services for the paint and construction departments on the same production.
Jaime moved to Langley, BC in 2002 and has two wonderful grandchildren Violet and Lincoln.- Director
