An award-winning Director and Screenwriter, Dave has a M.A. in English and a M.F.A. in Screenwriting, and is co-founder of Crux Jinx Productions, LLC in San Francisco, CA.
Originally from the Midwest, he found his love for film fulfilled in the Bay Area, and is co-founder of the Bay Area Film Mixer (BAFM), which allows filmmakers from all over the Bay to network and create a tighter community of like-minded film professionals. He is also founder of the Advanced Filmmaker Group (AFG) which brings high level filmmakers together and is sponsored by Ninth Street Independent Film Center.
As a filmmaker, his focus is character and story driven narratives, regardless of genre. After winning awards for his short films, he tackled his first feature film, Losing Her, which won Best Feature at the Noor Film Festival in Los Angeles and the Golden Ace Award at the Las Vegas International Film Festival, and is now in post-production on another feature-length film called Lost in the Sun. He is also in pre-production for Making It Up, a TV series about the San Francisco improv community, and Solitary, a feature film based on the real life story of Antonio Yarbough.- Writer

Charles Collins is an American journalist currently living in the United Kingdom, he joined Crux in 2017 and is Crux's Managing Editor. He worked at Vatican Radio from 2001 - 2017, both in the features and new division. Before this, he worked at a Marriage Tribunal in the Diocese of Austin. He has also written for Our Sunday Visitor, The Irish Catholic, and Inside the Vatican. He has also appeared on the BBC World Service, NPR, and Fox News- Eduardo Campos Lima holds a degree in journalism and a PhD in literary studies from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Between 2016 and 2017, he was a Fulbright visiting research student at Columbia University.
He has written for several international religion outlets, such as Religion News Service, Sight Magazine, and Réformés. He has also written for major news outlets, such as Reuters and the Brazilian newspaper Folha de S. Paulo. - He is an American journalist and the national correspondent for Crux and The Tablet. Before joining Crux, John worked for a weekly newspaper in Massachusetts covering education and religion. He appears regularly on Currants News and has been a correspondent on the Catholic church in the United States and has covered the annual bishops meetings and the 2020 presidential election.
He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Connecticut. - Nirmala Carvalho writes from Mumbai, India. She holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy and a master's degree in sociology, both from the University of Mumbai (known earlier as the University of Bombay). Claire Page is business manager and copy editor for Crux Now. She worked in England for several years in sales and marketing, before moving to Rome for 15 years, where she worked in the tourism industry.
Since returning to the UK, she has worked for the King Richard III Visitor Center.- Father Jeffrey Kirby, is a Papal Missionary of Mercy and the Pastor of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Indian Land, South Carolina. He holds a doctorate in moral theology from the Holy Cross University in Rome and a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the Franciscan University of Steubenville.
Father Kirby serves as an Adjunct Professor of Theology at Belmont Abbey College. In 2016, Father Kirby was recognized by Governor Nikki Haley and granted the Order of the Palmetto, South Carolina's highest civilian honor, for his service to local communities and young adults throughout the state.

Inés San Martín is an Argentinean journalist who covers the Vatican in Rome for Crux. Before joining Crux, Inés was a community manager, content director, and graphic designer for Contá con Nosotros, and worked as a reporter and editor for Valores Religiosos in Buenos Aires.
She managed the international press office for World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro in 2013. Inés holds a bachelor's degree in social communications and journalism from Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires and Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.- is associate professor of theological and social ethics at Fordham University, where he has taught since finishing his PhD in theology at Notre Dame in 2008.
