The star of many land and underwater adventures, Lloyd Vernet Bridges, Jr. was born on January 15, 1913 in San Leandro, California, to Harriet Evelyn (Brown) and Lloyd Vernet Bridges, Sr., who owned a movie theater and also worked in the hotel business. He grew up in various Northern California towns. His father wanted him to become a lawyer, but young Lloyd's interests turned to acting while at the University of California at Los Angeles. (Dorothy Dean Bridges, Bridges' wife of more than 50 years, was one of his UCLA classmates, and appeared opposite him in a romantic play called "March Hares.") He later worked on the Broadway stage, helped to found an off-Broadway theater, and acted, produced and directed at Green Mans ions, a theater in the Catskills. Bridges made his first films in 1936, and went under contract to Columbia in 1941. Allegations that Bridges had been involved with the Communist Party threatened to derail his career in the early 1950s, but he resumed work after testifying as a cooperative witness before the House Un-American Activities, admitting his past party membership and recanting. Making the transition to television, Bridges became a small screen star of giant proportions by starring in Sea Hunt (1958), the country's most successful syndicated series. Trouper Bridges worked right to the end, winning even more new fans with his spoofy portrayals in the movies Airplane! (1980) and Hot Shots! (1991), and their respective sequels. Lloyd Bridges died at age 85 of natural causes on March 10, 1998.- Actor

A talented singer as a child, Peary later went into radio in 1925. By 1929, he had his own radio show and got his big break in 1935 when he was cast in the Fibber McGee and Molly Show as Throckmorton Gildersleeve. In 1939, Peary was making a personal appearance in a theatre promoting the Fibber McGee and Molly Show and casually did what would be his trademark giggle. It caught on with the audience and Peary incorporated it in the Gildersleeve character. Peary eventually got his own radio show, The Great Gildersleeve, which debuted on 8-31-41 and ran for 17 years. It was one of the longest-running comedy shows in radio history, leaving the air in 1958. Peary left the Gildersleeve radio show in 1951. He went on to make numerous feature films, four of them based on the Great Gildersleeve radio show. His career in films tapered off by the '50s, but he became busy in television and records in that decade. His last film appearance was in 1964; TV appearances continued into the early '70s.- Producer

Host. Producer. Writer. Serial entrepreneur. Musician. Comedic-foil. Prompter-monkey. Tech-junkie. Kevin Pereira has been labeled many things over the past few years, and for good reason: He's done it all!
Kevin studied film and television production with a scholarship to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. Afterwards; he moved to Los Angeles and quickly found himself at G4. Since its inception, Kevin has been the face of the network; responsible for hosting and producing over 1,400 hours of live television. Kevin is the creator of G4's digital-pop-culture show Attack of the Show, the flagship program for the network, as well as other G4 programs. In addition, he can be seen every week on E! News.
Kevin is developing television shows and digital-media projects outside of G4 through his production company Super Creative. He also appears on E! News, NPR's Marketplace and writes for various publications including Wired magazine.
Fun fact? Pereira is Portuguese. Which means absolutely nothing to 98.4% of the entertainment industry, but it's still a fact nonetheless.- Director
