Ellen Eugenia Johnson was born in Monrovia. She was educated at the College of West Africa. She completed her education in the United States, where she studied at Madison Business College and Harvard University. She returned to Liberia to work in William Tolbert's government as Deputy Minister of Finance from 1971 to 1974. Later she worked again in the West, for the World Bank in the Caribbean and Latin America. In 1979 she received a cabinet appointment as Minister of Finance, serving to 1980.
In 1980 Sirleaf fled to the United States. She worked for Citibank and then the Equator Bank. She returned to Liberia to contest a senatorial seat for Montserrado County in 1985, an election that was disputed.
Sirleaf continued to be involved in politics. She finished in second place at the 1997 presidential election, which was won by Charles Taylor.
She won the 2005 presidential election and took office on 16 January 2006. She was re-elected in 2011. She was the first woman in Africa elected as president of her country. She won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011, in recognition of her efforts to bring women into the peacekeeping process. She has received numerous other awards for her leadership.
In June 2016, Sirleaf was elected as the Chair of the Economic Community of West African States, making her the first woman to hold the position since it was created. - Actor

Samuel C. Morrison Jr. is a filmmaker with a diverse background in the entertainment industry. He was born in Monrovia, Liberia and migrated to the United States when he was 3 years old, settling in New Jersey. Morrison received a partial scholarship to Rutgers University after excelling academically and becoming the first member of his family to attend college. However, after his mother passed away and the financial burden became too great for his father to bear, he was forced to drop out of college and pursue other opportunities.
Morrison began his career in the music industry, working in promotions, marketing, and the A&R department for companies such as Def Jam Recordings and TVT Records. He later transitioned to journalism, writing for The Source magazine. In recent years, Morrison has focused on filmmaking, serving as a writer and producer for an entertainment news show on AOL/Huff Post. He has also founded Deck of Cards Entertainment, a production company based in the greater Philadelphia area that specializes in producing high-quality micro-budget content.
Previous films include "By Deception," which was released in November of 2022 on Peacock and Tubi, while also bringing the music-based drama The Mint (2022), starring Jenni Farley and Kristinia DeBarge Kristinia DeBarge and securing R. Angel Dweh, (born November 14, 1999), is a Liberian-American singer, recording artist, songwriter, composer, dancer, and actor. He was born to Alice Dweh, a businesswoman in Monrovia, Liberia. His mother a native of the Krahn ethnic group of eastern Liberia and later immigrated to the United States.
Angel is known for incorporating multiple genres in his songwriting such as Pop, Afropop/Afrobeat, and R&B. His effervescent music embodies a truly unique sound that represents his personality and his home country of Liberia. Angel's distinctive vocal style in the Afropop/Afrobeats music genre has earned him the title of "Afro-Prince."
Since emerging on the music scene in 2020 with the hit singles "Love a Good Thing", "Salud", "Hard for Me" and "Flexin," Angel has been grabbing the attention of critics both locally and internationally. His single, "Kokona" was one of the most-played songs on independent radio stations in Nigeria, Liberia, and Tanzania. In his preteen years. As a student at Ephrata High School, Angel participated in the Honor Choir Festival as a tenor at Lebanon Valley College (2019), and the LLMEA Festival (2017), (2018). He was a member of the Tri-M Honor Music Society and a guest performer with the Mountaineer Men Choir at the Ephrata Middle School Choral Concert (2019). He also performed the National Anthem at the U.S. Women's National Field Hockey Game (2017).

Stubbs in a school production of Hairspray (2014) as an 8th-grade middle school student. In 1995, kNERO later then stumble on the art of barbering, avoiding the street violence and other criminal activities, he learned to master his craft over the years. He then travels from state to state gaining connections in the hair industry, which helped his music career. His limitless experiences, becoming rapper Raekwon from the Wu-Tang Clan personal barber. Gaining clients as Memphis Bleek, celebrity fashion designer Touré Designs, Humanitarian/Motivational speaker George Green, Celebrity Hairstylist Keith Campbell and much more. kNERO released "Not Drunk Enuff" featuring Norwegian singer Adele Erichsen, a former contestant on The Voice - Norges beste stemme. Due to his political ties, he celebrated the Liberian Declaration of Independence by performing his single "A.F.R.I.C.A" at the Liberian Embassy in Washington, D.C. He performed at the Hip Hop of Pioneers event held at the Newark Symphony Hall; the event featured additional performances from MC Lyte, Kool and the Gang, Dana Dane and Slick Rick. Between 2006 and 2007, he performed at The Fox Theatre in Atlanta for Dr. Malachi Z.
