Poll: Brave little Hobbits

Hobbits are a simple folk, usually preferring the joy of eating, drinking and smoking, rather than risking their lives. Still, there were some adventurous Hobbits who became famous for their feats of bravery.

Which Hobbit pulled off the bravest feat? To keep things fair, only one brave feat per Hobbit is listed. The feats are taken from the books, not adaptations, because I wanted to include Pippin and Bullroarer. Choose between Bilbo Baggins, Frodo Baggins, Sam Gamgee, Merry Brandybuck, Pippin Took, and Bullroarer Took.

During the Battle of the Greenfields (in which a a band of Orcs invaded the Shire), Bandobras led a force of Hobbits to defend their land, and has won the battle by beheading the Orcish leader Golfimbul, with a wooden club. Golfimbul's head flew through the air, and fell down a rabbit-hole. Allegedly, that's how a game of golf was invented.
