Meester Dating Co-Star Stan?

TV actress Leighton Meester has been linked to her Gossip Girl co-star Sebastian Stan after a night out with the cast in New York. The pair were reportedly spotted sharing a passionate embrace at the Armani Exchange dinner for Nylon magazine's Young Hollywood issue in the Big Apple earlier this week. A source tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "(They) couldn't keep their hands off of each other... they didn't care." Meester recently denied being romantically involved with another co-star, Chace Crawford, after they were reported to be dating.

Hudson Heats Things Up with Armstrong in Cannes

Actress Kate Hudson has fueled reports she is dating cyclist Lance Armstrong, after allegedly making their romance public at a party in Cannes, France. The couple was said to have danced and kissed at designers Dolce & Gabbana's annual bash on Friday. According to People.com, Hudson and Armstrong danced away to old Madonna songs and other 1980s classics, in front of other celebrities including Natalie Portman, Lindsay Lohan and supermodel Naomi Campbell. A source says, "They were beaming at each other. So cute." Hudson split from actor Owen Wilson earlier this month, while Armstrong was previously engaged to singer Sheryl Crow.

Cyrus Almost Quit Over Photo Scandal

Miley Cyrus came close to quitting show business following the fuss surrounding her provocative Vanity Fair photos, according to her pal and Hannah Montana co-star Anna Maria Perez De Tagle. The actress, who plays Cyrus' sidekick Ashley on the hit kids TV show admits she's had to boost her friend during recent phone calls - because the teen sensation is so downbeat of late. The 15-year-old was forced to apologize to fans when a topless shot of her, wrapped in a bedsheet, appeared as part of a Vanity Fair photo spread, upsetting family groups and parents across America. And Perez de Tagle admits the whole controversy has been tough on her friend. She says, "Sometimes I'll talk to her on the phone and she'll be like, 'It's really hard' or 'I'm really tired. I can't do this.' "I'll always say, 'You do want to do this. You love your job.' "It (photo scandal) really hurt her. She didn't know that people would look at it like that."

Winehouse Denies Israel Rehab Trip

Amy Winehouse has refuted reports she is set to travel to Israel to receive rehabilitative treatment to kick her alleged drug addiction. According to the Jewish Chronicle, the troubled singer was reportedly ordered by her management to undergo a "very short, intensive and effective treatment" costing $12,800 at the western Asian country's Barzilai Medical Centre. But Chris Goodman, a spokesman for the singer, insists the 24-year-old Rehab hitmaker has "no plans" to fly to Israel. He says, "These are just old rumors. She's going back in the studio and has absolutely no plans to go abroad for treatment."

'Harry Potter' Actor Knox Murdered in Knife Attack

Young Harry Potter actor Robert Knox has been stabbed to death after attempting to save his brother from a knife attack in Kent, southeast England. The 18-year-old, who won the role of Marcus Belby in the forthcoming film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, sustained multiple stab wounds on Friday night, after becoming embroiled in an argument with two armed men who had threatened his 17-year-old brother Jamie. Four other men were stabbed following the brawl - which reportedly stemmed from the theft of a cell phone - at the Metro Bar in Sidcup, Kent. Knox was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, southeast London, but was pronounced dead on arrival. A police inquiry into the murder has now been opened. A spokesperson for the authorities says, "At this early stage, we retain an open mind as to any motive, and inquiries continue to establish the full circumstances of the incident. We do not believe the incident is gang-related." Executives at Warner Bros. Studio, which produces the Harry Potter movies, have released a statement expressing their condolences to Knox's relatives. It reads, "We are all shocked and saddened by this news and at this time out sympathies are with his family."

Chan Plans Chinese Earthquake Movie

Action man Jackie Chan is planning to make a film about last week's devastating Chinese earthquake, which left almost 60,000 dead and more than five million homeless. The 7.9-magnitude quake stunned the world and now Chan wants to do everything he can to help the shell shocked survivors - and that involves making a film about their plight. The Rush Hour star, who is an icon in China, is planning a meeting with the country's leading studio bosses and film financiers to discuss his movie plans. He says, "There are so many touching stories (and) through this movie, we will be able to show the whole world what happened. This will also be another way to raise money." Chan also plans to raise money through benefits for the victims and their families. He tells America's People magazine, "I can spend six years doing a movie, but I can plan an event in 72 hours. An event we're doing on June 1 in Hong Kong will include more than 100 artists from Asia." Chan has already visited hospitals, schools and the ruins of streets of houses in the areas worst hit by the earthquake, and he has already donated more than $1 million to the relief effort.

Noth No Longer Loves New York

Sex and the City star Chris Noth has delivered another blow to the city where the TV show and new movie is set, insisting New York isn't as great as it used to be. His comments come just weeks after Sex and the City producers snubbed the Big Apple for the world premiere of the film, and held it in London instead. Speaking to publisher Ron Galotti - the inspiration for his Mr. Big character - Noth, who first arrived in New York in the 1970s, tells Interview magazine says, "New York is pretty much commercialized to the point of no return" Adding he misses the "diverse eccentrics" and "different neighborhoods" that were once such a big part of the city used to fill the city: "That's all been washed out. It's very suburban. The art scene really left, except in patches. It's all about sort of a corporate sensibility, and it's squeezed out room for any other kind of sensibility." And Noth is planning to deal another blow to New York by moving his Cutting Room night club out of the Big Apple and into Las Vegas. He explains, "I want to take the club to Vegas. I think a Cutting Room would be great in Vegas. I just haven't really had the time to go out there and schmooze people and try to get them to invest millions of dollars."

Swayze in Good Health at Lakers Game

Patrick Swayze defied reports he's close to death by appearing happy and healthy at a Los Angeles Lakers play-off game on Friday night. The Ghost star, who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, joined celebrity basketball fans including Jack Nicholson, Tobey Maguire, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria Parker and Sylvester Stallone at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Cheering on the Lakers against the San Antonio Spurs, smiling Swayze was spotted in the crowd with his wife Lisa Niemi. And his presence seemed to give the Lakers the life they needed - the team hammered the Spurs 101-71 to go up 2-0 in the Western Conference basketball final series.

LaBeouf Trying to Get Dad Out of His Garage

Shia LaBeouf is struggling to evict his dad from the garage of his Los Angeles home. Vietnam veteran Jeffrey LaBeouf spends his summers living in a teepee in Montana and his winters staying with his movie star son - but this year the actor's father has yet to move on. And the Transformers star admits he can't bring himself to kick his dad out. LaBeouf, 21, says, "We've got this little air mattress set up for him. It's very comfortable. But now it's not winter anymore and he's still there. But I can't go there and go, 'Hey dad. Listen it's time to go back.' I can't make him leave."

Lewis Forced to Dump Stinky Girlfriend

Sex and the City hunk Jason Lewis is refusing to name the beauty he dumped because she stank, prompting all his celebrity exes to check their personal hygiene. The model-turned-actor has dated Rosario Dawson and Jennifer Esposito - and he even had a brief fling with Jennifer Aniston but he's not revealing if one of those was the malodorous woman who left him with a bad smell. He says, "I remember thinking, 'Your arms stink, your breath stinks. Oh God, even your hair stinks.' I asked a female friend, 'What do I do? Slip her acidophilus when I cook for her?'" Lewis admits he eventually gave up and dumped the girl.
