Liv Tyler's Marriage Is Over

The Strangers star Liv Tyler and her British rocker husband Royston Langdon have announced their separation, after five years of marriage. Tyler, 30 and Langdon, 36, married in the Caribbean in 2003 and have a four-year-old son, Milo, together. The actress's representative tells People.com, "Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation. They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family's privacy be respected at this time." Tyler prompted speculation of a split when she arrived at the glitzy New York Costume Institute Gala on Monday without a wedding ring.

Lohan Linked in Second Clothing Theft

Lindsay Lohan has become the target of yet another fashionista, who's accusing the actress of swiping thousands of dollars' worth of items from her closet during a party last year. Earlier this month, Lohan was accused of stealing an $11,000 fur coat after it went missing at a New York nightspot back in January. And now 23-year-old Lauren Hastings has come forward alleging the Mean Girls star has a history of hoarding clothes. Model Hastings - who is currently dating Transformers star Shia LeBeouf - claims the incident occurred when she was hosting a party that Lohan attended last spring. She tells TV show Inside Edition, "Basically... my closets were emptied. I can be the one person not to let Lindsay get away with this." According to the New York Post, Hastings originally went forward with the story to an entertainment website following the incident, but the model insists she reached out to Lohan first: "I contacted Lindsay and said, 'Look, I know you stole my clothes.' She then said I was completely delusional, I was pathetic , I was out of my mind." Los Angeles County prosecutors have declined to press charges against Lohan, citing insufficient evidence of Hastings' claims. Retired Deputy Attorney Greg Somes, who reviewed the case last year, says: "There was clothing (Lohan) was entitled to take. So the issue is if she took clothes she was not entitled to take, and no one can say if she did that or did not." Lohan's spokesperson has yet to respond to the New York Post report.

Polanski Victim Defends Director

Roman Polanski's underage sex assault victim Samantha Geimer has come to terms with the fugitive filmmaker's crime - insisting she's "so over it." French-born Polanski was convicted of the statutory rape of the then 13-year-old Geimer in 1978, but fled to Paris before he could be sentenced for the crime. And the 45-year-old mother of two - who attended the premiere of a new documentary about the filmmaker on Tuesday - has long recovered from her ordeal. She tells the New York Daily News, "He took advantage of me. But I'm so over it. Worse things are happening to people right now." Geimer has since reached a civil settlement with the French director, but adds she feels "surgically joined to him by this case." She says, "I would like to see it resolved. I thought it'd be better to step into the open instead of having the media sneaking around trying to find me." Polanski, 74, has avoided prison by remaining in the French capital since entering a guilty plea. He has been granted benefits of his French citizenship, and Geimer notes it was a wise choice: "(Polanski) did the right thing under the circumstances. He wasn't getting a fair shake." The film, Roman Polanski: Wanted And Desired, is set for a televised broadcast in the U.S. next month.

Clooney Stung By 'Leatherheads' Flop

George Clooney was hurt by the failure of his most recent movie Leatherheads - but is determined to learn from the experience. A month after its release, the American football movie has grossed $36 million; $22 million short of its $58 million budget. It only reached third place in the U.S. box office and disappointed critics - leaving director and star Clooney devastated. He tells Rolling Stone, "It bombed and when I say bombed, it bombed. Someone said, 'How does that feel?' and it stings a little bit. It's not like we just showed up: I was working on this for a couple years and put a lot of work into it, and you get knocked back a little bit." But he refuses to be beaten, insisting, "The trick is how you handle things when things don't go great. It's easy when things are doing well: The people I most admire are the people who handle it when the studio says that's really underperformed and they say, 'Ow, that hurt.' I've been a fan of watching people go through cycles, not just winning cycles."

Driver Won't Wed Baby's Father

Pregnant actress Minnie Driver has dismissed the idea of a rush wedding to her unborn baby's father, because a marriage certificate is "not important" to her. The Riches star, 38, revealed she was pregnant with her first child during a March 13 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. However, Driver has so far refused to reveal the identity of the unborn tot's daddy, and on Thursday was forced to deny Californian musician Craig Zolezzi was the child's other parent. But, regardless of who the father is, she has warned fans not to expect a quickie wedding. Asked whether she will marry the baby's daddy, she says, "Definitely not in the near future. It's not important to me. I don't think a piece of paper lends itself to the idea of being a good parent and I want to be a good parent."

Osmond Blames Billy Ray For Miley Cyrus Photo Scandal

Marie Osmond has hit out at Miley Ray Cyrus' parents, blaming them for allowing her to pose for controversial Vanity Fair pictures. Osmond claims the 15-year-old's dad Billy Ray Cyrus should never have left the teen star alone with famed photographer Annie Leibowitz. The former child star tells AOL television, "My parents never, never left us alone. We always had some form of a guardian or something with us, a guardian that would represent what they would have done. But, in (Miley's) case, her dad stepped out, and that's when it happened. How do you say no to somebody like Annie Leibovitz when you're a little girl?" Osmond has her own parenting problems - last November her 16-year-old son Michael checked into rehab suffering undisclosed "problems."

Parker Begged Museum For 'Sex and the City' Laptop And Desk

Sarah Jessica Parker had to beg curators of The Smithsonian museum to return her Sex And The City character's desk and laptop, so she could use them in the forthcoming movie. The iconic set accessories - used by Parker's journalist character Carrie Bradshaw - were donated to the museum when the hit show's run came to an end in 2004. Parker reveals bosses at the institute were so reluctant to return them - it took a personal phone call from the star herself. She tells StyleList.com, "After the series finale The Smithsonian called us to ask for the desk and laptop from the TV show. They only released it back (for use for the film) after I made several personal calls. When it was suggested I use a replica because no one would know it a replica, I said 'I will know.' We had to have that desk - as a writer, it's an extension of you."

Mendes Gets Topless For Vogue

Sexy Eva Mendes has gone topless for Italy's Vogue magazine. The actress vamps it up in a semi-dominatrix outfit, complete with sexy black stockings, a lacy basque and a see-through black shirt, open to reveal her breasts. The pouting temptress tops off her Vogue look with a black beehive hairdo. It's not the first time the sexy star has bared her breasts - she appeared completely naked as Denzel Washington's girlfriend in Training Day. She also posed naked for a I'd Rather Go Naked anti-fur campaign poster for People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) last year, and graced the pages of the final issue of America's Jane magazine last summer. And she titillated fans in 2007 drama We Own The Night by wearing nothing but lingerie, in the opening scene.

Ferguson Writing Tell-All Book

TV host Craig Ferguson is to write a shocking tell-all autobiography chronicling his past drug addictions and the depression which once led to a failed suicide bid. The Scottish-born comedian grew up in Glasgow, Scotland and tried out numerous different careers before he moved to America in the 1990s and shot to fame on hit TV program The Drew Carey Show. The new book - titled America On Purpose - will detail his previous work in a punk rock band, as a club bouncer and a construction worker. It will also reveal his dark days as an alcoholic and the moment he considered committing suicide by jumping off London's Tower Bridge in 1991 - insisting the only reason he didn't do it was because he was offered another drink and simply "forgot" to carry out his plan. The Late Late Show host tells New York Post gossip column PageSix that he is writing the book "in the hope that it will inspire other alcoholic, punk-rock drummers from Scotland."

Ledger Painting Wins Australian Art Contest

A painting of late actor Heath Ledger has won a prestigious Australian art prize. The portrait, titled Heath and painted by Ledger's friend Vincent Fantauzzo, landed the prestigious People's Choice honor at the Archibald Prize art awards on Friday morning. Ledger sat for the painting just weeks before he died of a drugs overdose in January, and the finished artwork sees the actor bare-chested and surrounded by two other whispering versions of himself. Fantuazzo's painting came second in the race for the main award - with a picture by Del Kathryn Barton taking the coveted Archibald Portrait Prize. The artist turned down all offers to buy the picture - which drew record crowds to the exhibition - giving it instead to Ledger's mother Sally, who decided to donate the canvas to the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Carey Planning Children With New Husband Cannon

Mariah Carey is planning for a busy few months ahead - she wants to start a family with new husband Nick Cannon because it's the next step of married life. The couple wed in a sunset ceremony at Carey's home in the Bahamas last Wednesday and 39-year-old Carey isn't wasting any time baby-planning with her 27-year-old beau. She tells the New York Daily News, "It's part of the whole purpose of getting married. I'd just want our children to have the best childhood and upbringing they possibly could." Carey unveiled a new tattoo on her neck bearing her married name to talk show queen Oprah Winfrey on April 14, and admits only those who knew of her new inking were aware of their plans to wed. She adds, "I don't think anyone realized what we already knew, that we were going to get married." And rapper/actor Cannon reveals he was lost for words when the time came to say "I do." Cannon says of the surprise ceremony, "I haven't been shy in years, but I was speechless. I was elated, but I was thinking, 'Don't pass out.'"
