Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has been released on bail after she was arrested and questioned over alleged drug offenses. The 24-year-old star was quizzed by police in East London over drug offenses after footage of the star allegedly smoking crack cocaine was handed to British police. It's Winehouse's second legal woe in as many weeks, The hitmaker was accused of head-butting a man outside a North London pub on April 23 and later turned herself in to authorities. She escaped with a caution. Winehouse, who has faced a long and public battle against drugs and alcohol, checked into a rehab clinic in London in January after a video showing her allegedly taking a variety of illegal substances was passed on to British newspaper The Sun. She was also arrested, along with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, in Bergen, Norway last year on suspicion of possessing cannabis. Winehouse was issued with a $714 fine, which she accepted, not realizing that paying up is the same as pleading guilty in the Scandinavian country.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have confirmed reports they are now husband and wife. The couple married in a sunset ceremony at Carey's home in the Bahamas on Wednesday. Carey - who wore a traditional white gown and veil at the ceremony - has been dating Cannon since he teamed up with her in a new video. She tells People.com, "We really do feel we are soul mates. I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me." Cannon adds, "She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside." It is the second marriage for Carey, who married Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola in 1993. Cannon called off his engagement to model Selita Ebanks last year.

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix author J.K. Rowling has won a court battle to ban the publication of pictures of her son David when he was 18 months old. The 42-year-old alleged the boy's privacy rights had been infringed by the long-lens shots taken in Edinburgh, Scotland by Big Pictures photo agency in 2004, but lost a legal battle in London's High Court last year. Rowling took the case to the Court of Appeal, because she wanted her children to grow up "free from unwarranted intrusions into their privacy." A judge ruled on Tuesday there was an infringement of her privacy. Judge Sir Anthony Clarke told the court, "If a child of parents who are not in the public eye could reasonably expect not to have photographs of him published in the media, so too should the child of a famous parent. In our opinion, it is at least arguable that a child of 'ordinary' parents could reasonably expect that the press would not target him and publish photographs of him." Rowling and her husband, Dr Neil Murray, released a statement, saying, "We understand and accept that with the success of Harry Potter there will be a measure of legitimate media and public interest in Jo's professional activities and appearances. However, we have striven to give our children a normal family life outside the media spotlight. We are immensely grateful to the Court for giving our children protection from covert, unauthorized photography; this ruling will make an immediate and material difference to their lives."

Liv Tyler has left question marks hanging over her marriage to British rocker Royston Langdon, after posing at New York's Costume Institute Gala on Monday night without a wedding ring. The couple married in March 2003, and have a three-year-old son, Milo. But sources claim the relationship has been on the rocks for some time; rumors seemingly confirmed when Tyler strolled the red carpet alone at the star-studded event, with a clearly naked ring finger - the same night Scarlett Johansson was showing off her brand new engagement ring. When contacted by the New York Daily News, a representative for Tyler, 30, refused to comment on the speculation surrounding her marriage.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Gary Dourdan has been charged with three felonies for possession of a controlled substance following his post-Coachella Festival arrest in California. The actor was apprehended by police in Palm Springs, California after he was found asleep in his incorrectly parked car early on April 28. Cops searched his vehicle, before arresting him on suspicion of possessing heroin, cocaine, Ecstasy and prescription drugs. Dourdan posted $5,000 bail and was released following the incident. He will be arraigned on May 28.

Mischa Barton has hit back after magazines printed photographs showing her with cellulite, insisting she is happy with her body. The actress was recently snapped on vacation in Australia with the unflattering marks on her bottom and thighs - prompting a war of words with the snapper who caught her out. But Barton refuses to accept there is anything wrong with her body. She says, "Every woman has cellulite. I've never claimed to have a perfect body. I eat healthy, I work out. I feel very comfortable. I come from a European family that's always very comfortable with their bodies. You are what you are as a woman. If I'm in shape and I'm fulfilling my role as an actress, then that's all that matters to me. There's been a lot of nasty gossip written about me. If I was to cry over every single thing, I'd be the most depressed person ever." But the former The OC star admits she has let negative press attention get to her in the past: "Trust me, there have been some low points in my life where I got really depressed about it, but in general, I find it's smarter to not get depressed and not feed into it."

Tom Hanks is offering one lucky fan the chance to act opposite his wife Rita Wilson in a performance of Shakespeare's The Taming Of The Shrew. The double Oscar winner has teamed up with the eBay Giving Works organization and will auction off the chance to land a speaking role in the play when it airs as part of the Shakespeare Festival L.A. on May 19. The winning bidder will also get the chance to mingle with Wilson's co-stars Annette Bening, William Shatner, Zach Braff, Tim Allen, Christina Applegate, David Schwimmer and Sean Astin, and he or she will also be a part of the post-show cast party. Hanks has also agreed to record a personal message for the winning bidder's answering machine. The auction, which will be managed by Auction Cause, will go live on eBay.com on Thursday and run until May 14.

Movie funnyman Mike Epps has been accused of beating up a man who attempted to serve the star with paternity court papers. The Friday After Next star allegedly attacked the unnamed victim after he was served with documents following his stand-up comedy spot at Kentucky's Louisville Gardens. A report filed to the Louisville Police Department, suggests Epps and others beat up the server backstage. The alleged victim claims he suffered an abrasion to the right side of his head and his left eye was swollen shut. According to Tmz.com, Epps is the prime suspect.

Lindsay Lohan's father Michael has blasted his ex-wife Dina Lohan for missing a court-ordered family therapy session so she could pick up a mother of the year award. Michael claims Dina's decision to skip the meeting on Tuesday, so she could accept her prize as one of Minglingmoms.com's "top moms" at a Long Island, New York ceremony, was contempt of court. And he mocks her status as a "top mom," telling Tmz.com, "She's meant to be here in therapy as ordered by the court. If she's not, she's in contempt of court, meaning she's missed more than 60 percent of appointments. Is she a top mother for doing that? What is she putting first? If it was me, I would be in jail. I hold myself accountable - she doesn't."

Sir Paul McCartney's fashion designer daughter Stella McCartney is desperate to create a wedding dress for bride-to-be Scarlett Johansson. The actress announced her engagement to actor boyfriend Ryan Reynolds at Monday night's Costume Institute Gala in New York. And McCartney is hoping she will be asked to design the gown. She tells People.com, "I'm definitely doing her wedding dress. She doesn't know it yet." And McCartney jokingly suggested she already has a design in mind: "You know, some kind of dodgy, black thing. Latex! Latex for Scarlett!" McCartney designed Madonna's wedding dress for her 2000 wedding to Guy Ritchie.
