TV Bounty Hunter Upset Over Racist Rant Expose

TV tough guy Duane Chapman broke down before his pastor on Wednesday after he was exposed as a racist by a U.S. tabloid. The star of reality TV show Dog The Bounty Hunter was heard referring to his son's Latino girlfriend with racially charged terms on the tape, which landed in the hands of editors at the National Enquirer. Ironically, Chapman even considers what would happen if his comments made their way to the publication on the tape. Upon learning the Enquirer had exposed him and his fiery comments, Chapman met with Tim Storey, the African-American pastor who married the TV bounty hunter and his wife Beth. Chapman has refused to comment, but the pastor reveals his friend broke down in front of him for 30 minutes on Wednesday. Storey tells TMZ.com, "He said, 'I'm shocked, I'm wrong, I repent...' I was shocked, because I don't know that to be Duane." The pastor insists Chapman made the ill-advised comments following a row with his son - and turned on the youngster's relationship with a Mexican girl. Storey admits he was shocked his friend used the 'N' word, adding, "I know he's not a racist. He's been to black churches with me to help inner-city kids." Bosses at U.S. TV channel A&E, which airs Dog The Bounty Hunter, have halted production on the show after the tape recording went public on Wednesday.

Garrison Jailed for 40 Months

Prison Break star Lane Garrison has been jailed for 40 months for causing death by dangerous driving. Garrison pleaded guilty to charges of vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence, driving under the influence and providing alcohol to a minor in August. In December 2006, Vahagn Setian was a passenger in Garrison's Land Rover when the actor lost control of the vehicle and crashed after leaving a pre-Christmas party. The 17-year-old was later pronounced dead in hospital. On Wednesday, Garrison was jailed at Beverly Hills court in California for almost four years. According to website Tmz.com, Garrison issued an apology to Setian's family before he was handed his sentence. He must also pay close to $300,000 to the Setian family and two other passengers. Prior to his sentence Garrison was undergoing an enforced 90-day psychiatric evaluation behind bars at the California Institute for Men in Chino, California.

Craig Signs $60 Million Bond Deal

Actor Daniel Craig has signed a $60 million deal to star in the next four James Bond films. The blond 39-year-old is currently filming Bond 22 - his second outing as secret agent 007 following the success of 2006's Casino Royale - and movie executives have reportedly signed him up for another three films, tying him to the franchise for the next 10 years. A source says, "To date Daniel has been quite cautious over saying how many films he'd be starring in. It was presumed he'd probably do a couple more but the word is the new deal ensures he'll do at least another four across the next decade." Craig's predecessor, Pierce Brosnan, starred in four Bond movies - but the longest-serving 007 star remains Sir Roger Moore, who played the iconic role in seven films between 1973 and 1985.

Wilson Seeks Comfort With Simpson?

Troubled star Owen Wilson is seeking solace from his recent suicide bid in Jessica Simpson, according to reports. The Wedding Crashers star was rushed to the hospital after slashing his wrists at his home in Santa Monica, California two months ago. But Owen is recovering from his recent troubles by dating Simpson, according to New York gossip column PageSix. The publication reports the couple dined at the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica before retiring to his Malibu home. A source says, "He couldn't keep his hands off her."

Seymour Fights Back After Food Poisoning Scare

Actress Jane Seymour is back on her dancing feet after a nasty food poisoning scare. The former Bond girl was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital just before Tuesday night's Dancing With The Stars live results show after experiencing stomach cramps and nausea. She was treated for food poisoning and released several hours later. Seymour spent the night at home, but resumed dance rehearsals on Wednesday. The pre-Halloween health scare came as fans expected Seymour to be voted off the show. Despite scoring the lowest marks from judges after her dance floor performance on Monday, the Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star will get to dance another day. The Cheetah Girls star Sabrina Bryan was voted off the show.

Lohan Refused a Drink at Los Angeles Hotspot

Lindsay Lohan's aides are going out of their way to make sure the actress/singer stays sober after spending much of the summer in rehab - they've told staff at all her old hangouts not to let her drink alcohol. The Mean Girls star found this out for herself when she tried to order vodka at Los Angeles' Viceroy hotel on October 19. A staff member at the hotel reveals Lohan spent an hour sipping water, but felt the need for something stronger as her friends started to get tipsy. A source tells Life & Style magazine, "She was fine at first, but it was obviously too soon for her to be around people who were drinking, because she later asked the server for a vodka. But her people had called ahead and servers were told not to give in no matter how often Lindsay asked for alcohol." Despite denials about the incident from Lohan's publicist, a guest at the Viceroy, who overheard the exchange between the actress and a waitress, tells the publication, "I heard the waitress say that she was sorry but she wasn't allowed to serve her. Lindsay walked out soon after, looking embarrassed."

Cavalli: "Lopez's Pregnancy Is a Fashion Headache"

Celebrated fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has "confirmed" reports Jennifer Lopez is expecting her first child, after confessing his difficulty in dressing the ever-changing figure of the mother-to-be. Lopez has continually refused to comment on whether she is pregnant or not, despite recent pictures of her performing live with a bulging belly. But Cavalli, who is providing the clothes for the Latina and her husband Marc Anthony's current North American tour, admits Lopez's expanding stomach is causing some wardrobe problems. He tells People.com, "It is so complicated because every week she is getting bigger."

Hilton Sued for "Stealing" Look

Paris Hilton is being sued by a woman who claims the blonde socialite 'stole' her look. The Simple Life star has been accused of causing "emotional distress" to fellow Californian, Nicolle O'Neill, who fancies herself as an inspiration to the party-loving heiress. In a bizarre personal injury complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month, O'Neill alleges that she suffers psychologically because of Hilton and accuses the 26-year-old of ripping off her style, including fashion-related "patens" (sic) and "stiling" (sic) tips. Two pages of documents spell out specific charges against Hilton, including a claim that she stole O'Neill's idea to expose her underwear under her trousers. O'Neill also claims Paris swiped her idea to shop in vintage stores for retro dresses. Hilton has yet to issue a response to the allegations.

Spears Ignores "Cruel" Tabloid Media

Britney Spears does her best to ignore the "cruel" coverage of her troubled private life by going about her daily business as if the paparazzi weren't there. The singer, who is currently embroiled in a child custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, insists she doesn't pay any attention to the tabloid media. In a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, Spears said, "I try not to let it get to me. People talk. You just try to keep doing what you do and, as long as you know what's up, and you know what's true, then that's all that really matters. I guess people say what they want and do what they do. It's sad how cruel people can be. At the end of the day, you've just got to know in your heart that you're doing the best that you can and that's basically it." When asked whether she is trying her best to be a good mother to her sons, Spears replied, "Oh God, yeah."

Swanson Assault Charges Dropped

Assault charges filed against actress Kristy Swanson by her one-time love rival have been dropped. Swanson was arrested in Ontario, Canada in June after her boyfriend's ex-wife accused her of beating her in front of her kids. Upon her release from police custody, the actress hit back, insisting she was the victim of an attack by her accuser, Marcia O'Brien. O'Brien dropped her charges against Swanson, who is now dating her ex-husband, figure skater Lloyd Eisler, on Wednesday.
