Police Investigate Theft on Indiana Jones Set

Police have been called to the set of the new Indiana Jones movie following the theft of computers and photographs. Crew members noticed the items were missing on Monday and immediately alerted director Steven Spielberg. The movie mogul's publicists have confirmed the theft but refused to comment further because "a law enforcement investigation is ongoing." The latest setback comes a week after film extra Tyler Nelson breached a confidentiality agreement and revealed plot details about the new film, Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, to a reporter on his local paper in Oklahoma.

Judge Allows Spears Monitored Visitation Rights

A Los Angeles judge has ruled Britney Spears' former husband Kevin Federline will retain custody of their two sons - but the pop superstar is allowed monitored visits to see her kids. The temporary ruling was made at a closed-door court session which lasted three hours on Wednesday afternoon. Spears didn't attend, although Federline showed up sporting an eye patch. Federline, wearing a pinstriped suit and sunglasses, refused to speak to reporters as he left court. Court spokesperson Allan Parachini says, "Britney's access to her kids works out to about every other day." The next hearing in Spears and Federline's ongoing custody battle for Sean Preston and Jayden James is scheduled for October 26 - both parents are required to attend. Spears lost custody of her sons at a hearing on Monday, after failing to hand in a valid California driving license. She was issued with an interim license from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) on Tuesday.

Aniston and Bloom Get Close at Wedding

Single Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom have prompted rumors of a romance, after they were spotted getting close at their manager's wedding. The pair are both represented by Aleen Keshishian, and traveled to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico to celebrate her marriage, along with other clients Natalie Portman, Laura Linney and Bloom's ex-girlfriend Kate Bosworth. Fellow guests claim Aniston and Bloom immediately latched onto each other and spent much of the ceremony together. A source tells Life & Style magazine. "When they got down to Mexico, they just gravitated to each other. They sat next to each other for both the rehearsal dinner and the actual ceremony. Their super-flirty behavior surprised some of the other guests, but they didn't look like they cared who was watching because they were so into each other." Representatives for both stars insist they are just good friends.

Takei Gets His Own Asteroid

Star Trek and Heroes star George Takei has been honored with his very own asteroid. A huge rock floating around between Mars and Jupiter has been renamed 7307 Takei. Takei, who played Hikaru Sulu in the original Star Trek television series, says, "I am now a heavenly body. It (the honor) came out of the clear, blue sky - just like an asteroid." The asteroid, which was discovered by two Japanese astronomers in 1994, was formerly known as 1994 GT9. The renaming has been approved by officials at the International Astronomical Union's Committee On Small Body Nomenclature.

Cage Prowler Was Naked

The man found wandering around Nicolas Cage's California house was naked apart for a jacket stolen from the actor. The Oscar winner called a security guard at his gated community in Newport Beach in the early hours of Monday morning after spotting tailor Robert Furo inside his home. Los Angeles police officer Lieutenant Craig Fox reveals that Cage was upstairs with his son Kal-El when he heard noises downstairs. And he was stunned by what he saw. Fox says, "He was standing there naked - except for the leather jacket." Cage is said to have to told Furo to take off the jacket before escorting him off the premises "without a struggle." Furo has been charged with burglary. He pleaded not guilty at the arraignment and is being held on $50,000 bail.

Disgruntled Fox To Quit 'CSI'

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation regular Jorja Fox is to leave the hit drama after seven years. The 39-year-old actress first introduced the character of forensics expert Sara Sidle in 2000. She is quitting the show in November after failing to agree terms on a new deal. In an exclusive chat with TV Guide magazine, Fox reveals, "A couple of years ago, I decided not to take the raise that was offered me, (which) would have added a year to my contract." The actress admits she still feels frustrated and hurt after CSI producers fired her and co-star George Eads following a salary dispute in 2004. She adds, "I wasn't sure I wanted to give anybody any extra time. And the raise was terrible, to be frank. An extra year for that amount of money? No, thank you." But the actress admits she'll miss her onscreen love interest, William Petersen: "He's the most incredible scene partner I've ever had and he's a great friend. I couldn't have scored any higher than getting William Petersen to be my boyfriend on TV."

Bonaduce Under Investigation After Awards Fight

Former child star Danny Bonaduce has been named as the suspect in a felony battery report after allegedly beating up a U.S. reality TV star at an awards show. The Partridge Family star stunned the audience at the Fox Reality Channel Really Awards on Tuesday night when he jumped up onstage and attacked Survivor star Jonny Fairplay. The reality star lost a few teeth in the fracas, according to Tmz.com. Speaking on the Adam Carolla radio show in Los Angeles on Wednesday, co-host Bonaduce admitted he has had a thing against Fairplay ever since the reality TV star lied about his grandmother dying, in order to get sympathy on the show. Bonaduce revealed the fight started after Fairplay - real name Jon Dalton - poked fun at him from the stage.

Anderson: "Marriage License Doesn't Mean I'm Engaged"

Actress Pamela Anderson insists she isn't engaged, despite successfully applying for a marriage license in Las Vegas on Saturday. The former Baywatch beauty made her application, which is valid for a year, with poker player Rick Salomon. But mother-of-two Anderson - who has been married twice before, to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and Kid Rock - claims she and Salomon applied for the wedding license just in case they decide to get married. Anderson says, "I'm not really engaged. I don't know what I am... we may never get that far." Salomon is best known for "starring" alongside Paris Hilton in the reality star's infamous sex tape.

Stern Sues Over Anna Nicole Book

Anna Nicole Smith's longtime companion Howard K. Stern is suing an American journalist for "exploiting" the memory of the late glamour model. Stern filed a $60 million lawsuit against Rita Cosby on Tuesday over "false allegations" in her new tome Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death. The book claims Stern and Larry Birkhead - the father of Smith's daughter Dannielynn - were lovers who plotted to get control of the late star's estate. Cosby, a former MSNBC correspondent, claims there is a sex tape to prove the pair were lovers. But Stern's attorney, L. Lin Wood, has furiously denied the accusations. Wood says, "Blonde Ambition purports to be a 'tell-all' book, but it can only be accurately described as a 'tell-all-lies' book. And I am sure Howard and the estate and everyone else involved is going to sue her, too. This is just nonsense...None of it is true." Birkhead has denied a sex tape exists and has also threatened to sue. Smith passed away earlier this year.

Goldberg Retires From Acting

Comedienne Whoopi Goldberg has announced she is retiring from acting to concentrate on her broadcasting career. The Oscar-winning star, 52, who replaced Rosie O'Donnell on long-running daytime show The View last month, insists there's "no room" for her in Hollywood anymore - because there are younger, more glamorous actresses taking all the jobs. Goldberg, who has made more than 40 films in her career, winning an Oscar for her role in Ghost, claims she has no choice but to retire from movies - because she never gets sent scripts anymore. She tells talk show host Larry King, "You know, there's no room for the very talented Whoopi. There's no room right now in the marketplace of cinema."
