Lohan: "I Am Innocent"
Lindsay Lohan has spoken for the first time about her arrest for driving under the influence, insisting she is innocent. The 21-year-old was pulled over by police after she was reported for driving erratically through the streets of Santa Monica, California, in hot pursuit of a car being driven by the mother of an assistant, who quit on Monday. She was arrested for dronk driving and drug possession, but later released on $25,000 bail. But the actress has protested her innocence, claiming the drugs did not belong to her. In an email to Access Hollywood, Lohan writes, "I am innocent... did not do drugs they're not mine. I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin's mom. I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy." Police have confirmed the former assistant's mother was the person who reported Lohan, calling authorities on her cell phone. Lohan is due to appear at Beverly Hills court on August 24 - the same day she is expected to answer DUI charges from a separate incident in May. It is believed Lohan is heading back to rehab just days after completing a lengthy stay at Promises in Malibu, California.

Damon and Affleck Spoof Themselves in Climate Film
Matt Damon has dressed up as a fuel-pump and Ben Affleck as an ear of corn in a spoof charity film to raise awareness of climate change and promote alternative fuel sources. The pair and a host of Hollywood stars have agreed to star in the video - created by the Center for American Progress Action Fund. In "Clean My Ride, Flex My Fuel," Damon spoofs his movie character Jason Bourne, urging Congress to make changes and punching a guy who asks him to dance - all while wearing a fuel pump costume. Jolie & Pitt Bowl Over Arcade Boss With Afternoon Visit
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt took over a French bowling alley on Monday so their kids could hit pins with pal Mariane Pearl's son. Jolie plays Pearl in new movie A Mighty Heart, which Pitt produced, and the two families have become close since working together on the film, which follows the kidnap and murder of Pearl's journalist husband Daniel. And when Marianne took up an invitation to join Pitt, Jolie and their four kids on a brief vacation in her native France, the Hollywood couple used their star power to close the Le Palace Vert arcade for a quiet bowl. Owner Patrick Bernard tells People magazine he was particularly impressed with Pitt's parenting skills: "At one point... because the children don't have the strength to always get the ball down the lane, it sometimes stops. Brad thought he'd go down the lane to push it along. He slipped and fell on his back." Pitt then showed off his air hockey skills. Bernard adds, "He was particularly good at it." The owner still can't believe Pitt and Jolie chose to host their bowling party at his place: "We're certainly the smallest bowling in France, so we're still having trouble realizing we spent Monday afternoon with the most famous couple in the world."
Bay Shoots Back at Willis

Director Michael Bay has hit back at Bruce Willis after the actor wrote an internet blog vowing never to work with him again. The pair fell out on the set of Armageddon, prompting Willis to recently write, "Few people will work with Bay now, and I know I will never work with him again. A screaming director does not make for a pleasant set experience." But Transformers filmmaker Bay claims' Willis rant is just a publicity stunt for his latest film Live Free Or Die Hard. He says, "If you look, he posted at 3:30 in the morning; Does anything good happen at 3:30 in the morning? I think we have movies that were supposed to open on the same date and I think he thought, 'Maybe I'll get some fans if I do that.' Bruce wrote, 'If Michael Bay would have done Live Free Or Die Hard, it would have sucked.' Now, my action is usually pretty good. So I'll put it to the test. Put Transformers action against Live Free Or Die Hard action. If you want to go the competitive way, we can go there."
Brown Hints at "Troubling" Aspects of Murphy's Life

Spice Girl star Melanie Brown's relationship with Eddie Murphy broke down because aspects of his lifestyle made her uncomfortable. The pair split when Murphy publicly ended their romance on a Dutch TV show last year and denied fathering her then-unborn child. But Brown has hinted their relationship was doomed from the start because his private life shocked and worried her. She tells Essence.com, "There were certain things that went on in his house with his lifestyle that I wasn't prepared to be a part of. I have a baby with this guy, so I have to be somewhat respectful. I'll simply say that there were lifestyle changes that he would have to make if we were going to live together... I don't have people knocking on my door at three and four in the morning." She adds efforts to confront the issue became "a trippy discussion, which ended up where we both refused to budge." Murphy was famously detained by police ten years ago after driving with a transvestite prostitute in his car. Murphy insisted he was merely giving his unusual passenger a ride home.
Knowles' Fall Proves She's "The Best"
Beyonce Knowles' aides are playing down the pop star's onstage tumble in Florida, insisting the fact she continued with her show after falling down stairs prove she's "the best." Knowles begged fans to keep the embarrassing trip at the start of her Amway Arena show in Orlando to themselves - but one devotee posted the footage online and another spoke to local media immediately after the show. But the singer's publicists have dismissed the fall as "no big deal" - even though some fans claim Knowles looked bloodied as she stood up to get on with the show. A representative for the singer says, "Beyonce's fall... was a mere spot on an otherwise sensational, flawless show. It was a case of her coat's hem getting caught in her shoes, but Miss Knowles picked herself right up, without missing a beat, showing to all that she is the best." Knowles' publicists insist the former Destiny's Child star was uninjured after her tumble.
