Lohan Heading Back to Rehab
Lindsay Lohan is heading back to rehab just days after completing a lengthy stay at Promises in Malibu, California. The news comes after the troubled actress was arrested for drunk driving and drug possession on Tuesday morning. Lohan was pulled over by police after she was reported for driving erratically through the streets of Santa Monica, California, in hot pursuit of a car being driven by the mother of an assistant, who quit on Monday. Police have confirmed the former assistant's mother was the person who reported Lohan, calling authorities on her cell phone. Lohan had been celebrating a friend's birthday in Venice, California. She was charged with a DUI and then police reportedly found cocaine in her pockets when she was booked. Lohan has cancelled a scheduled appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, where she was due to promote her new movie I Know Who Killed Me, and she'll also be a no-show at the film's premiere later this week, according to reports. And now, a source close to the Mean Girls star tells In Touch Weekly magazine that Lohan plans to re-enter rehab. It is not clear yet whether she will return to Promises or exactly when she will check in.
Britney Not OK for OK! Interview

OK! magazine's editors have chosen not to sanitize a "heartbreaking" interview with Britney Spears, during which the pop star reportedly mopped up dog poop with a Chanel dress and expressed fears her ceiling was about to collapse. Editor-in-Chief Sarah Ivens insists the interview, which will appear in the upcoming issue of OK! will leave readers "shocked and sad." Insiders tell Tmz.com Spears had a "total meltdown" during the interview and accompanying photo shoot, refusing professional make-up and hair help and insisting her untrained friends style her. Sources tell the website Spears was "completely out of it" and "erratic" during the shoot, and took "frequent bathroom breaks." Tmz.com reports, "She was also completely paranoid during the entire interview, fearing at one point the ceiling was about to cave in on her."
Roberts To Receive Career Honor

Hollywood actress Julia Roberts has been named the winner of the 2007 American Cinematheque award. The Mona Lisa Smile star was chosen unanimously by the non-profit organization's selection committee which honors career achievements, Variety magazine reports. Roberts, who won an Oscar for Erin Brockovich in 2001, will collect the prize at a ceremony in Beverly Hills on 12 October. Actors, directors and writers - including Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman - have been honored at the ceremony every year since its inception in 1986. Last year, Roberts presented fellow actor and Ocean's Eleven co-star George Clooney with the award after he landed the annual honor.
Hilton's Charity Behavior

Socialite Paris Hilton's promise to do more charity work following her release from jail is being carried out - the socialite has started work helping to raise funds for children with spinal cord injuries. She was at Life Rolls On Foundation's 4th annual Night By the Ocean auction on Sunday in aid of her close friend Jesse Billauer - a former professional surfer who founded the charity after he was paralyzed. She paid $17,500 for a surfing lesson with Billauer and Adam Sandler. She said later, "It's a great organization. It gives people hope and I'm really happy to be here to support Jesse." And Hilton's charitable nature doesn't stop there, adding, "I was just at the Los Angeles Children's Hospital visiting all of the kids and premature babies in the cancer ward. I met with philanthropists and they're doing a summit with five major charities and we'll be doing stuff all over the world. I'm excited." Hilton was released from Lynwood, California's Century Regional Detention Center last month after being jailed for violating her probation from a 2006 drunk driving arrest.
Cruz's L'Oreal Ad Under Fire

Cosmetics giant L'Oreal has been reprimanded by British advertising watchdogs for its "misleading" mascara advertisements fronted by sexy Volver star Penelope Cruz. The TV and magazine ads promoting L'Oreal's new Telescopic mascara claim the product boosts the length of women's eyelashes by up to 60 percent. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) was forced to step in after it was discovered the acting beauty had been wearing additional false eyelashes for the shoot. But the French make-up firm has defended itself against the accusations, claiming it is "common practice" to use fake lashes. A spokesman for L'Oreal says, "It is common industry practice to make use of some artificial lashes in order to ensure a consistent lash line under filming or shooting conditions - the ASA had previously accepted on more than one occasion that this industry practice was not misleading." L'Oreal has been ordered to clarify the discrepancy and place a disclaimer on all future Telescopic advertising campaigns.
Foxx's Stylist Fails To Amend Lawsuit
Jamie Foxx's former stylist has failed in her bid to amend a lawsuit against the actor to include allegations he insulted her. Stacy Young originally filed a lawsuit earlier this year against the Miami Vice star, accusing him of not paying for her styling services for an awards show and press junkets. She tried to amend the lawsuit insisting the actor insulted her and undermined her abilities in front of others - but a motion to change it on Monday was rejected by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Jane L. Johnson, who ruled it did not comply with state rules. Foxx's lawyer, Allison Hart Sievers, maintained the new allegations are "complete fabrications and have no merit whatsoever."
Minnillo "Embarrassed" by Lohan Pictures
Vanessa Minnillo credits boyfriend Nick Lachey with helping her overcome the embarrassment of leaked pictures of her cavorting with Lindsay Lohan. Pictures of Minnillo and Lohan playing with knives and pulling at each others' tops at New York club Bungalow in June last year were leaked onto the internet last month. And Minnillo says she only got through the ordeal with the support of Lachey, whom she has been dating for a year. She says, "It was a tough time. I want people to see me for who I am. When a photo like that gets more press than you do it's sad. Nick said to me: 'This is one bad chapter in a book of your life.' It was a period of seconds, over a year ago. Yes of course, it was bad judgment. I was embarrassed."
Shetty's Company Sued for Unpaid Bills

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's management firm has been hit with legal trouble after her company failed to pay off debts worth $26,000. Shetty's Cine Entertainment owes London law firm Carter Ruck $20,000 for legal advice and guidance given to her in the aftermath of the British Celbrity Big Brother race scandal earlier this year, while security company CTR Services also claims to be owed $6,000 in unpaid bills. The star's agent, Farnath Hussain, told U.K. newspaper The Sun he was "in the process" of paying off the debts. The news comes as the Indian actress has reportedly been dropped from PR guru Max Clifford's client list after a series of clashes with his employees. Shetty was caught up in controversy earlier this year on reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother, when she was the target of alleged racist bullying by housemates Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara.
