Vahagn Sedian was a passenger in Garrison's Land Rover when the actor lost control of the vehicle and crashed after leaving a pre-Christmas party last year. The 17-year-old was later pronounced dead in hospital. The police report states Garrison's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit when they tested him for drink-driving at the scene. Garrison's attorney Harland Braun says, "What's unusual in this society is he is admitting full responsibility - that's a breath of fresh air." Garrison is free on $100,000 bail.
Hasselhoff's Custody Rights Restored
David Hasselhoff has won back the right to visit his two children with former wife Pamela Bach, just weeks after a video of the drunken actor hurling expletives to his teenage daughter was leaked. Earlier this month, a judge told the Baywatch star he could only telephone his kids until a hearing decided how the footage would affect his long-term custody rights. However, Hasselhoff's lawyer Melvin Goldsman revealed before the start of a closed-door court hearing yesterday his client could see his kids again. He claimed the suspension order had been lifted on Friday. It was implemented on May 7 by Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas and was set to expire yesterday. Although refusing to give details of the hearing, Hasselhoff said outside court, "It went very well, the truth was told, and I can't say any more." Bach's attorney, Debra Opri, added, "We're very happy," but also gave no further information. Another hearing has been scheduled for June 1.
McAdams' Age Questioned
The Notebook star Rachel McAdams' age has come into question following a series of differing opinions about the year she was born. The actress lists her age as 28, but People magazine unearthed a profile of the star, which lists her as being 29 in 2005. Her then-publicist complained about the write-up and Details, the U.S. magazine behind the profile, agreed to run a correction. But movie site IMDB.com refused to budge, and still claims the actress was born in October, 1976 - making her 30. Sources tell People that it's "no secret among the producers" that she shaves a couple years off her age in interviews, but her representative states, "Her birthday is inaccurately reported. She is 28 years old."
Mirren Denies Royal Snub

Dame Helen Mirren has hit out at reports she shunned invitations from Buckingham Palace following her hugely successful role in The Queen. The actress won an Academy Award for her portrayal of British monarch Queen Elizabeth II in the movie, but denies she subsequently refused to pay respects to her real-life inspiration when invited to meet the royal in person. Speaking at last night's Greatest Briton Awards in London she says, "No it is not true that I snubbed the Queen. She is an amazing hard-working woman as I am. If you are working there's absolutely nothing you can do, especially in the job I was doing in South Dakota. It's not as if I was in Manchester." Mirren was crowned Greatest Briton in Film at the ceremony, and used the red carpet opportunity to pay tribute to another winner, David Beckham, who picked up a special global achievement award. Mirren gushed about the soccer star, "I am absolutely speechless. What can I say? He is the best of Britain in every way. He is a great icon for this country."

Tim Bevan, of Working Title Films, insists he is "delighted" by Roberts' involvement with the project, and adds, "We are thrilled to be making a film about such a courageous, adventurous and passionate woman." Filming on the as yet untitled film is slated to begin filming in Africa next year.
Bana Praises Norton Casting in New Hulk Film

Actor Eric Bana has praised movie bosses for replacing him with Edward Norton in upcoming sequel The Incredible Hulk. Bana, who played Bruce Banner in filmmaker Ang Lee's original 2003 movie Hulk, is pleased he wasn't offered the role as he may not have subsequently landed critically acclaimed parts in movies such as Munich. He tells Australia's Herald Sun newspaper, "If it came up in the right amount of time I might have (done it) but, you know, in an ideal world it has not been a bad thing for me. I think it's even better that they've got a new guy and better again that they've got someone of the caliber of Edward Norton. You know, I can't wait to see it. And I suppose if they had come back in the right amount of time I wouldn't have been doing films like Munich." But Bana insists he never considered making more than one Hulk movie when he signed up to appear in the original film. He adds, "I never went into the first one thinking I was going to do three films. I didn't think the word franchise, or the word sequel. To me it always appeared as a one-off opportunity." Shooting on The Incredible Hulk is scheduled to begin this summer in Toronto, Canada.
