Sambora & Locklear Divorced

Rocker Richie Sambora's 13-year marriage to Melrose Place actress Heather Locklear is over. Los Angeles Superior Court dissolved the marriage after divorce papers were filed on Wednesday. The papers read, "Marital status or domestic partnership status is terminated and the parties are restored to the status of single persons." The couple split last year and have one child, daughter Ava. The Spin City star, who recently starred in the Lifetime TV telefilm Angels Fall, is also shooting a pilot for a TV series named See Jayne Run.
Imus Radio Show Axed Permanently

CBS radio bosses have followed NBC's decision to axe the TV broadcasts of shamed talk show host Don Imus' morning show, by axing his radio slot completely. The radio bigwigs initially suspended Imus, the host of Imus In The Morning, for two weeks after he made racist comments about the Rutgers University Women's Basketball Team on air last week. But, following national outrage that Imus has been allowed to continue broadcasting at all, CBS bosses have pulled the plug on the show permanently. CBS President and Chief Executive Officer Les Moonves says, "Those who have spoken with us the last few days represent people of goodwill from all segments of our society - all races, economic groups, men and women alike. From the outset, I believe all of us have been deeply upset and revulsed by the statements that were made on our air about the young women who represented Rutgers University in the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship with such class, energy and talent. In our meetings with concerned groups, there has been much discussion of the effect language like this has on our young people, particularly young women of color trying to make their way in this society. That consideration has weighed most heavily on our minds as we made our decision." Imus made headlines after referring to the mostly-black basketball team by a racist and sexist epithet. He has since publicly apologized for his comment.
Ford, Costner and Spielberg Make Forbes' Top 10 Divorce List

Movie stars Harrison Ford, Kevin Costner and director Steven Spielberg have been named in US magazine Forbes' top 10 most costly divorce settlements in Hollywood.
Spielberg, who divorced first wife Amy Irving in 1989 at a cost of $100 million, was only beaten to the top of the poll by basketball legend Michael Jordan and singer Neil Diamond, at numbers one and two respectively.
Forbes speculates Jordan's pending divorce from his wife of 18 years, Juanita Vanoy, will set the former NBA star back by more than $150 million - the cost of Diamond's failed 1969 marriage to Marcia Murphey.
Ford ranks at number four after having paid an estimated $85 million to first wife Melissa Mathison, while Costner's settlement with wife of 16 years, Cindy Silva in 1994, earned him fifth place.
Other stars whose love splits have made it into the top 10 include: former Beatles singer Sir Paul McCartney and his impending divorce from Heather Mills; rocker Sir Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall; and Michael Douglas and first wife Diandra.
Lohan Denies Dating Federline
Lindsay Lohan is denying US press reports suggesting she and Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline are a new item after spending a steamy afternoon together in a Los Angeles hotel. New tabloid reports claim Federline spent the night with Lohan at the Raffles L'Ermitage hotel in Beverly Hills last week after she phoned him and invited the rapper to join her for a drink. Sources tell the National Enquirer, "Kevin and Lindsay are dating, and Lindsay made the first move. Kevin met Lindsay through Britney, and they were always flirtatious with each other." The insiders claim Federline was invited to "talk business" with Lohan and he thought the meeting with Lohan would be about a film project. Lohan reportedly suggested the pair speak in private after Federline turned up with his manager, and then retired to her suite with the newly-divorced father. The publication claims the couple made love. Lohan denies the story.
Anna Diaries Go On Sale Despite Stern's Claim
Anna Nicole Smith's diaries will still go on sale despite her ex-lover Howard K. Stern insisting they are stolen property. An unnamed buyer purchased the diaries and other mementos during an eBay Internet auction earlier this year for $500,000 - and is convinced they can turn the acquisition into a profit by re-selling the items in Dallas, Texas - Smith's native state - this weekend. However, in a letter to Doug Norwine, the director of music and entertainment memorabilia at Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas, an attorney for Stern claimed the diaries belong to his client and that they were stolen. But Norwine insists the auction will go ahead, saying, "In the absence of a judge stopping this auction, this auction will go forward. After the auction we'll determine what happens. We will continue to take the high road." The journals feature Smith's recollections of her first meetings with bosses at Guess Jeans, where she signed her first major contract, and expressions of love towards her then-husband, oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall, who died in 1995.
Malawi-Bound Madonna Working With Timberlake in London

Reports that Madonna jetted off to Malawi on Wednesday night appear premature - she's hard at work on her new album with Justin Timberlake. The actress was spotted in her adopted London, where she is recording with the singer/songwriter and producer Timbaland, yesterday. The confusion seems to stem from confirmation that Madonna is planning a trip back to Africa, where her adopted son David comes from, "soon." But her publicist, Liz Rosenberg, insists the pop superstar has musical matters to deal with before making her trip. She says, "Madonna has been in a recording studio in London with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. She is going to Malawi soon... It's a follow up visit as she's overseeing the building of a children's health care centre as part of Raising Malawi's efforts in that country."
Hayek Gets Tough with Domestic Violence

Actress Salma Hayek is urging women to take control of their lives and help others in an effort to end domestic violence. The Oscar-nominated Frida actress has joined a Marie Claire crusade to wipe out domestic violence in the next 10 years and thinks it's time women started to make a stand to demand the respect they deserve. She says, "Men have been running the world and - I'm sorry - but they have not taken us to a good place. We are in crisis. What would happen if women were in power? What decisions would we make? If women are going to have the self-respect they need to go out and make a change in society, it has to start with how they're treated in their homes." Pregnant Hayek admits she was introduced to domestic violence at a young age - when her father attempted to stop a man from beating up his wife in the street. She recalls, "Instead of being grateful, she (the beaten woman) turned and started beating him (father) for defending her. Some people might say, 'Well, then it's her fault, ' but it made me realize she needed much more help than someone breaking up a fight."
McCarthy Opens Up About Son's Autism

Actress/model Jenny McCarthy has opened up about her four-year old son Evan's autism after revealing she's planning to release a new book all about dealing with the developmental disability. The former Playboy pin-up has revealed her son is "hypersensitive to air and water" on her website IndigoMoms.com and she's determined to help educate parents and teachers about autism. She says, "I want our children to start each day in silent meditation. I want organic cafeterias, outdoor class sessions... I want it all." McCarthy, 34, will reveal all about her own struggles with her son's autism in new book Louder Than Words: A Mother's Journey In Healing Autism. She tells In Touch magazine, "It's a heartbreaking story about a serious health issue."

Berfield Sues Construction Firm Over Moldy Home

Former Malcolm In The Middle star Justin Berfield is suing a Los Angeles construction firm for turning his old home into a mold-infested wreck. The actor, who now lives in pal Jessica Simpson's former home in Calabasas, California, claims he suffered respiratory problems while living in the Studio City home. He is suing Shell Burton Construction over what he says was faulty work the company did on the home, which once belonged to George Clooney. In a lawsuit, obtained by Tmz.com, Berfield alleges he learned his former home was infested with mould when he tried to sell the house. Berfield is suing for negligence, breach of warranty and breach of contract, and is asking for damages in excess of $1 million.
Cryer To Wed Newswoman
Two And A Half Men star Jon Cryer is to wed TV newswoman Lisa Joyner in Mexico this June. The actor started dating Joyner in 2005 after reportedly spotting her gardening while walking past her Hollywood home. The couple sold the two homes they owned last year and moved in together. And now they're making plans to become man and wife. Cryer says, "It'll be a small ceremony. There will be fireworks. I'm excited about it." Cryer, 42, split up with his first wife, actress Sarah Trigger, in 2004. The couple have a son, Charlie, who is six.
