Maguire Says Goodbye to Spider-Man?

Tobey Maguire has confirmed the upcoming Spider-man 3 will be the last time he plays the superhero on the big screen. Co-star Kirsten Dunst has also said she feels the third film will be the last in the popular franchise. Maguire says, "To me it seems like this is a natural point for the team to break up because we have a lot of story conclusions that were going along for the main characters for the first two movies and we kind of tie almost everything up for the third movie. "It feels like a trilogy to me and it feels like the end." But moviemaker Sam Raimi isn't so sure that it's all over for the web-slinging movie hero. In a recent interview, the director stated he's seriously considering a fourth film. He explains, "I love Spider-Man and I love working with Kirsten, Tobey, James Franco)... I just have to make sure that when I'm done with Spider-Man 3, I'm really still fascinated with the character. At this moment I'm fascinated with him." But Raimi insists he couldn't imagine making a fourth installment if Maguire didn't sign on for it. He adds, "I couldn't imagine it."

Spoiler Alert: Housewives Execs Furious About Longoria Leak

Desperate Housewives bosses are furious with star Eva Longoria for revealing confidential storylines during an interview on national TV. The star, who plays Gabrielle Solis on the show, leaked secret storylines while making an appearance on The View. When asked about what viewers could expect on the show, she revealed her character's husband Carlos won't leave the show as rumored and that they will suffer through stormy times but will ultimately have a 'surprise' lovers' reunion next season. Show executives were furious because storylines from the show are kept top secret to keep viewers tuning in. According to the National Enquirer, executives have issued a stern warning to writers, producers, directors and show staff to not reveal any information regarding the show to Longoria.

Cowell Blasts Hudson for 'Stepping Stone' Comment

Simon Cowell has blasted Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson after she called American Idol "a stepping stone" - insisting she wouldn't have been cast in Dreamgirls without the talent show. Hudson was a contestant on Idol in 2004, but was voted off before the final. Over a year later, she auditioned for the role of Effie White in the big screen version of the musical Dreamgirls and was cast. When Hudson accepted her Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Dreamgirls last month, Cowell was disappointed she declined to mention the show. He says, "Jennifer Hudson said American Idol was a 'stepping stone' for her. Stepping stone? It was her big opportunity to become noticed and she got noticed and she got Dreamgirls. "Singers like her deliberately turn against the show that made them successful. The reason (people) come on the show is because all the doors had been slammed in their face."

'Lost' Stars Bemoans Screen Time

Lost stars Naveen Andrews and Dominic Monaghan are bemoaning the lack of screen time they have in the third season of the desert island show. The British actors earn a reported $78,000 a week playing Sayid Jarrah (Andrews) and Charlie Pace (Monaghan), but admit they spend a lot of time sitting around with nothing to do. Andrews says, "Even though I like getting paid for doing nothing, it is nice occasionally to work." Monaghan adds, "As one person works more, work is being taken away from another. You have to make your peace with that. Executive producer Carlton Cuse explains, "The actors are frustrated. They're all really good at what they do and it's difficult when they don't get a chance to do it."

Love Jeopardizes 'Simple Life'?

Rocker Courtney Love has sparked concern about Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie's plans to work as camp counselors for children in a TV series, after claiming drugs were readily available at Hilton's recent birthday party. In a posting on her website, the former Hole singer has spoken out about the "white powder" she discovered in the toilet at Hilton's 24 February party. And now the head of Foundations For Jewish Camping is worried about the pair's stint as camp counselors in the upcoming fifth season of their reality show The Simple Life. Jerry Silverman tells the New York Daily News, "Counselors are trained, recruited and tested. We take (it) very seriously." The latest season of the show has already made headlines after Richie was taken to hospital on Friday suffering from dehydration on set.

Lohan: 'I Would Have Died If It Wasn't for Rehab'

Lindsay Lohan checked herself into rehab earlier this year after being told she would die young if she didn't stop her hard-partying lifestyle. The Mean Girls star recently checked out of the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles after completing a month-long stay. And party girl Lohan admits she needed the stark warning to turn her life around. She says, "I was really sick. I went to hospital and had people sit me down who said, 'You are going to die if you don't take care of yourself.' "I heeded what they were telling me."

Fiennes Caught in 'Pool Romp'

English actor Ralph Fiennes incurred the wrath of a Belgium hotel boss after he reportedly frolicked naked in a swimming pool with four women. British newspaper The Sun reports The English Patient star, 44, and his female companions disturbed guests at the Hotel Tuilerieen in Bruges. Hotel manageress Patricia Homble says, "I wasn't happy about it." Fiennes is currently in the stunning Belgium city filming comedy In Bruges, which also stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson. Last month, Qantas flight attendant Lisa Robertson was fired from the airline after she admitted she had sex with the actor in a lavatory during a long-haul flight in January.

McAvoy Defends Hathaway Casting

British star James McAvoy has defended Anne Hathaway's casting as Jane Austen in Becoming Jane - insisting "you find the actor, not the accent" for movie roles. Director Julian Jarrold was criticized for casting an American actress in the role of the iconic 18th century English author, but The Last King Of Scotland star believes Hathaway was the best choice for the part. He says, "I think (the criticism was) fairly expected, but I'm a Scotsman and it's really surreal playing two Scottish people in the last seven years, so I haven't got a leg to stand on. "I think you find the right actor - you don't find the right accent - and she is undoubtedly brilliant. "When you find a British person playing JFK or some real big American icon, nobody bats an eyelid here. We don't go, 'This is terrible - it should be an American man playing this part', so I don't know why we get so annoyed."

Travolta Donates Money to Tornado Victims

John Travolta donated $15,000 to victims of a tornado in Florida at the premiere of his new biker film Wild Hogs on Friday night. The actor presented a personal check to Mayor Max Pullen of Lady Lake, Florida, where a string of tornadoes killed 21 people in the area on 2 February. Travolta, who has lived in nearby Ocala for four years, said, "These things happen in Florida and when they happen we all have to do something to help. "I just felt the time was right. We're promoting a movie. I think the best movie openings and promotions are when you can do it for charity and help people. I live here. These are my people." Pullen added, "This means a lot and helps lift the spirit of our people. When they know somebody as big a star as John Travolta cares about them, it makes a difference." The screening of the biker comedy raised an additional $15,000 and Ocala Mayor Randy Ewers presented the star with a key to the city. Wild Hogs, which features an ensemble cast including Tim Allen, William H. Macy and Martin Lawrence, also scored big at the box office over the weekend, taking in $38 million.

Spelling and McDermott Open New Inn

Heavily pregnant actress Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott celebrated the opening of their newly-remodeled bed and breakfast in California on Saturday. The inn, named Chateau La Rue in honor of Spelling's pug Mimi La Rue, is located in Fallbrook, California - 100 miles south east of Los Angeles. The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star and her husband will run the inn as part of their new reality show, Tori & Dean: Inn Love - and Spelling loves the new place. She explains, "We wanted a modern, chic B&B for our generation. We can't wait to entertain our guests with fun theme nights and movie nights on the lawn." The inn officially opens to guests later this week, and Spelling insists she is going to be helping out, even though she is due to give birth to a boy at the end of the month. She adds, "Dean will be doing a lot of the day-to-day manual labor. Since I'm in my ninth month, I'm exhausted and it's hard for me to get around. "But I love to cook so I'll be preparing a lot of the food and conceptualizing theme nights."
