Smith Set for Bahamas Burial

Anna Nicole Smith's body will be laid to rest next to that of her son Daniel in the Bahamas, the lawyer who granted custody of her corpse Thursday has announced. Richard Milstein, the court-appointed lawyer for the former model's five-month-old daughter Dannielynn, revealed his decision soon after a Florida judge gave him control of Smith's burial. No time frame for the funeral has been decided yet. The burial site is in accordance with the wishes of Smith's lawyer and companion Howard K. Stern, who had been battling Smith's mother Virgie Arthur in court to prevent her body being returned to her native Texas. Circuit Judge Larry Seidlin also made it clear he shared Stern's sentiments before granting Milstein custody, saying, through tears, "I want her buried with her son in the Bahamas. I want them to be together." Smith died at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on February 8 at the age of 39.

Baldwin "Clean for 92 Days"

Actor Daniel Baldwin has passed 20 drug tests proving he has been sober for 92 days, a Californian court heard Thursday. The 46-year-old was arrested on charges of having a cocaine ingesting device on his person and of being under the influence last April. At a progress report hearing at Los Angeles Superior Court, Baldwin's lawyer Grant Hoagland told Judge Scott Millington his client completed a drug treatment program earlier this week and is now attending an aftercare program. Hoagland said, "He's doing exceptional." On Tuesday, and in a separate case, Baldwin pleaded not guilty to charges of unlawfully taking a car and receiving stolen property, claiming he borrowed the vehicle from a friend.

Jolie Travels To Africa To Raise Darfur Awareness

Actress Angelina Jolie arrived in Africa yesterday in her role as United Nations Goodwill Ambassador to monitor and raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis in the Darfur region of Sudan. The Tomb Raider star touched down in N'Djamena in neighboring Chad because she cannot travel into Darfur itself, due to the violent conditions there. Jolie is expected to remain in the region for a few days, in her first trip there since 2004. She is due to visit refugee camps near the border of Sudan. On Friday, the 31-year-old was also elected to join the Council On Foreign Relations, an international think-tank also including US Secretary Of State Condoleezza Rice.

Rodriguez Rants About DUI Sentence

Lost star Michelle Rodriguez has hit out at her punishment for drink driving in a bitter rant on her website. The 28-year-old is furious she still has to wear an ankle-bracelet that takes alcohol readings from her body, 18 months after she was caught driving under the influence in Hawaii - insisting "for someone like me, who loves life too much to f**k it up for a sip of a beverage, this level of control isn't necessary." After describing how she was stopped by police after watching an episode of the show with cast mates, Rodriguez claims she offered to serve time in prison as an alternative sentence, saying, "I tried to get them to put me in jail but they had their mind set on this bracelet."

'The Producers' To End Its Broadway Run

Hit musical The Producers, which opened with stars Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, will end its Broadway run after six years and more than 2,500 performances in April. The show, which is based on Mel Brooks' 1968 film about two producers who scam old ladies out of money to put on a flop Broadway show, has been a massive stage success - winning 12 Tony awards during its run. Brooks says, "The last six years working on this show have been pure joy for me." Brooks is now getting ready for his next show, a stage version of another of his films, Young Frankenstein.

Ricci No Longer The Prude After Lingerie Scenes

Playing a chained-up, half-naked nymphomaniac in her new movie Black Snake Moan helped Christina Ricci overcome her prudish nature, because now she parades around in her underwear all the time. The former child star had to face her fears of baring almost all for the film and decided the best way to get comfortable with revealing scenes was to wear nothing but lingerie at all times - even after cameras stopped rolling. She admits the ruse worked and made cast and crew think nothing of her revealing scenes when director Craig Brewer came to shoot them. And her new naked ambition lasted long after the movie wrapped. Ricci says, "I'm a prude and I do not like walking around naked and I was in my bathroom about two months after the movie finished and I was brushing my teeth and I was in my underwear and I looked down and was like, 'Oh, God, put something on.' Then I just stopped and thought, 'Oh my god, I was half naked for two months and my a*s was on camera.' I called my sister and I was like, 'Is it OK to wear nothing around the house? I'm freaking out.'"

Harry Potter's Dumbledore To Become Father at 66

Harry Potter star Sir Michael Gambon is to become a father at the age of 66. The Irish actor, who took over the role of wizard Albus Dumbledore from Richard Harris in the hit films, has been seeing Philippa Hart, 41, for six years, and the couple are expecting their first child together in May. A source close to the couple tells British newspaper The Mirror, "Philippa was approaching 40 at the time and was keen to have a baby - and despite his age Michael saw no reason not to. He can afford to provide for it and wants her to be happy." Gambon already has a son, Fergus, from his previous marriage to Anne Miller. They couple separated in 2002, but remain married.

Banks Gropes Idol McPhee

Retired model-turned-talk show host Tyra Banks stunned fans during a recent taping of her hit daytime show by asking to grope American Idol star Katharine McPhee's breasts. The two ladies were chatting about plastic surgery when probing Banks asked the singer if reports about her getting breasts implants were true. McPhee insisted her boobs are all natural, and when Banks asked, "Can I touch them?" the Idol star let her. And the touch test proved conclusive for Banks. She yelped, "They're real."

Cruz and Bardem Reunite for Allen

Spanish cinema stars Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are reuniting for Woody Allen to shoot their first screen pairing since 1992. Jamon Jamon launched the pair's glittering career when Cruz was just 19 and her co-star Bardem was 23. They since appeared in Pedro Almodovar's Live Flesh in 1997 but didn't share a scene. Now Hollywood director Allen has convinced the couple to re-team for his first foray into continental Europe. His movie is to be shot this summer in Barcelona in English and Spanish.

Peet and Benioff Welcome First Child

Amanda Peet and her screenwriter husband David Benioff are celebrating after the actress gave birth to a baby girl. The Something's Gotta Give star was due to attend a Hollywood lunch event on Wednesday when she went into labor and was taken to a nearby hospital. The couple's daughter, whose name remains unknown as WENN went to press, is the first child for both Peet and Troy screenwriter Benioff, who wed in September.
