Washington Released from Rehab

Troubled Grey's Anatomy star Isaiah Washington has been released from a rehabilitation facility after a week of counseling for his repeated use of a homophobic slur. The star, who plays Dr. Preston Burke on the hit series, is expected to return to the set today. Washington, who will continue to receive outpatient counseling, caused an altercation on the show's set in October when he used a homosexual slur to refer to cast member TR Knight. He stirred up the controversy once again during a Golden Globes press conference when he used the term again while talking about the incident.

Aniston Slams Plastic Surgery Reports

The Break-Up star Jennifer Aniston has slammed reports she's had plastic surgery, insisting she simply had a deviated septum fixed in her nose. Media reports speculated the 37-year-old star had had a nose job after she was seen leaving the Beverly Hills, California office of plastic surgeon Dr. Raj Kanodia earlier this month. Kanodia is reportedly responsible for Ashlee Simpson's new look and also repaired Cameron Diaz's deviated septum when her nose was broken in several surfing accidents. Tabloid reports also speculated Aniston had work done on her breasts after she appeared at the People's Choice Awards earlier this month looking particularly voluptuous. She tells American publication People, "It's funny. I had (a deviated septum) fixed - best thing I ever did. I slept like a baby for the first time in years. As far as the other (rumors), as boring as it sounds, it's still mine. All of it. Still mine." Aniston says she doesn't know what it will take to finally put the rumors of plastic surgery to rest adding, "Short of letting everybody have a feel, I don't know what else to do. I am pretty happy with what God gave me!"

Miller and Christensen Scenes "Not Real Sex"

Sienna Miller has laughed off claims her sex scenes in Factory Girl with co-star Hayden Christensen were real - insisting she's just a good actor. The rumors started after the pair became close during the shoot and were exacerbated on the film's release, when cinema-goers got to see graphic scenes of the couple cavorting. Director George Hickenlooper fueled speculation when quizzed if the sex was real, by replying, "I can't comment. You'll have to ask Sienna about it." But Miller is keen to quash the claims, her publicist insisting, "When you do a love scene there is a minimum of five people in the room. There's no real sex and the scene proves she knows how to give a good performance." The actress recently revealed she was terrified about watching the sex scenes at a screening of the film which she attended with her parents. She said, "I was sitting next to my dad and I just literally leant over and put my hands over (his eyes). It's quite embarrassing. I can't even watch it!"

Sidney Sheldon Dies

Best-selling American author Sidney Sheldon has died of complications from pneumonia at the age of 89. His publicist reveals Sheldon died on Tuesday at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, near his home in Palm Springs, California. Sheldon was also an accomplished playwright, writer and producer and an Oscar-winning screenwriter. He started out writing movies, plays and TV shows, to great success. He won the Best Original Screenplay Academy Award in 1948 for the film The Bachelor And The Bobby-Soxer and also created the sitcom I Dream Of Jeannie. Sheldon only turned his hand to novel-writing at the age of 50, and went onto publish 18 novels and sell 300 million copies of books including Rage Of Angels and The Other Side Of Midnight.

Love Duped by 'Idol' Imposter?

American Idol boss Nigel Lythgoe has slammed reports he approached Courtney Love about joining the hit show, insisting she must have been the victim of a prank caller. The former Hole rocker said on Tuesday she had been contacted by Lythgoe about becoming a judge on the reality talent competition, possibly as a replacement for Paula Abdul. She told American publication Us Weekly, "He called. He was wondering if I was interested. I thought it was kind of weird, but brilliant." Lythgoe denies the conversation took place telling the magazine, "I did not call Courtney Love and am afraid someone may have misrepresented me. Courtney Love is a very talented artist, but the judges for American Idol are Paula, Randy, and Simon. We have no plans to add to or replace any of them." A source close to Love adds, "It was probably a prank."

Stars Line Up To Take Part in Brando Documentary

Late, great movie icon Marlon Brando is to be honored by his friends and peers as part of a new two-part documentary to air on TV in America in May. James Caan, Al Pacino, Martin Scorsese, Angie Dickinson, Edward Norton and Dennis Hopper will join family and friends to reminisce and pay tribute to the On The Waterfront star in Brando. The revealing documentary will also feature never-before-seen footage of Brando at work and play, and a series of rarely-seen in-depth interviews with the actor. It will also look at Brando's involvement in civil rights and features interviews with Native American leaders and Black Panther officials, who the movie legend worked with and befriended. But the real highlight of the documentary, which will air on the Turner Classic Movies network on May 1 and 2, will be an interview with Sacheen Littlefeather, the Native American actress who took the stage at the 1973 Academy Awards to reject Brando's Oscar for The Godfather.

Timberlake Flies In Biel for Romantic Break

Justin Timberlake skipped the after party for his new film Black Snake Moan after it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to spend a romantic evening with Jessica Biel. The newly-single singer didn't attend the festivities last Wednesday in order to spend some quality time with the Stealth star at a exclusive lodge in nearby Deer Valley, Utah. A source tells American publication Us Weekly Timberlake reportedly flew Biel in to join him for the festivities, saying, "He called her and asked her to come. And she was like, 'What the hell? I'll go!' She is really spontaneous and fun." Biel, 24, stayed with Timberlake at his $1,950 per night, four-bedroom condo at the Trail's End Lodge and the couple were spotted snowboarding the next day at the picturesque Park City Mountain Resort. The pair stayed at the lodge until January 26 and a source at the resort says, "Justin and his group were fantastic guests." Biel's representative refused to comment on her relationship with Timberlake saying, "Jessica was in Sundance for a couple of days to see some movies." Timberlake and ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz announced they were ending their relationship earlier this month.

Federline Turns Down $25 Million Divorce Settlement?

Britney Spears' estranged husband Kevin Federline has turned down a $25 million divorce settlement offered by the pop star, according to media reports in the US. The former back-up dancer was reportedly looking for a $50 million settlement from the singer and the mother of his two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James. A source tells American publication Star, "Kevin says that Britney offered him $10 million to walk away from their marriage and to relinquish custody of their kids, but he just laughed. Then she came back with $20 million, which he turned down, too. Now he says she's offering a whopping $25 million and that's her final offer. He told her to take a hike!" Part of the settlement offered by Spears reportedly includes a condition that would have Federline severing his ties with his young sons. The sources adds, "He loves his two little boys, and there's no way he's going to disappear from their lives."

Urban Plans 'Saturday Night Live' Appearance

Troubled country music star Keith Urban will make his first TV appearance since completing treatment for alcoholism on February 10 when he performs on satirical show Saturday Night Live in America. Oscar nominee Forest Whitaker will guest host the show and introduce the singer, who checked into rehab last October in a bid to battle his alcohol dependency. He celebrated the completion of his treatment at California's Betty Ford Clinic last month by posting a video message to his fans on his website.
