'Lost' Star Lilly's Home Destroyed by Fire

The Hawaii home rented by Lost star Evangeline Lilly burned down to the ground yesterday, but nobody was hurt. The house, which Lilly shares with two female crewmembers, was empty at the time of the blaze. The 27-year-old's representative Cara Tripicchio tells American publication People, "Yes, it is unfortunately true that her home in Hawaii burned down this morning. Thankfully, Evangeline is safe as she was on set already when it occurred." Honolulu Fire Captain Kenison Tejada was alerted of the fire at 6:43 am (local time) and fire engines reached the home in Kailua just minutes later. He explains, "When we arrived the house was fully engulfed in flames. It was a complete loss. Just the roof was still standing." Fire investigators arrived on the scene later in the day to help determine the cause of the accident.

Trump Threatens To Sue O'Donnell

Real estate mogul Donald Trump is threatening to sue Rosie O'Donnell after she made unflattering statements about him on The View yesterday morning. Co-host O'Donnell called Trump a "snake-oil salesman" following his announcement that he would not fire troubled Miss USA Tara Conner. She then went on to talk about alleged extra-marital affairs and discussed Trump's finances, claiming that he went bankrupt - a charge he denies. Trump fires back, telling American publication People that O'Donnell is "a woman out of control" and insisting he would be suing her over her statement questioning his financial well-being. He says, "You can't make false statements. Rosie will rue the words she said. I'll most likely sue her for making those false statements - and it'll be fun. Rosie's a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie." O'Donnell seemed to realize she was in for a fight after she criticized Trump on the show. She said, "Here comes the lawsuit. Get ready. This is going to be good." Yesterday afternoon The View executive producers Bill Geddie and Barbara Walters issued a statement in support of O'Donnell - and Trump. The statement reads: "Both Rosie and Donald are high-spirited, opinionated people. Donald has been a friend of The View for many years and Rosie, of course, is our enormously popular moderator. We cherish them both and hope the new year brings calm and peace."

The former star of The Practice met Thomas two years ago and they became friends before starting to date six months ago. A representative for the star tells American publication People, "She's ecstatic. She's very, very happy." The Men In Black II star wed Thomas in the garden of his home in San Antonio, Texas. Boyle, 36, appeared on Showtime's series Huff, as the bipolar character Melody Coatar, and on the TV show Las Vegas, as the owner of a new hotel. Witherspoon Moves Family To South Carolina

Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon has fled Hollywood and moved back home to Charleston, South Carolina with her two children. WItherspoon announced she was separating from husband Ryan Phillippe in October, after seven years of marriage. The couple have two children, Ava Elizabeth, seven, and Deacon, three. According to New York Post columnist Liz Smith, the star was thoroughly disgusted with both marriage and her life in Hollywood and wanted to return to her Southern roots. Witherspoon moved back to Charleston to be closer to her family and has enrolled both of her children in local public schools. The Walk The Line star recently claimed she was coping with life after the split saying, "I'm doing fine. I'm getting out a little more now. You'll be seeing more of me."

Gibson's "Love Child" Sold Story

An Australian woman claiming to be Mel Gibson's secret love child sold her story to a UK tabloid for more than $20,000. Carmel Sloane, 29, alleges her mother Marilyn was picked up by Gibson while she was hitchhiking in Australia in 1976 and she was conceived in the back of the car. According to Sydney's Daily Telegraph, Sloane, the divorced mother of one, and her mother have been paid more than $20,000 for their tawdry tale. Sloane's ex-husband, Glenn, who has custody of their son Jordan, 10, is furious that he didn't receive any warning that their child would be linked to the story. He explains, "I was so upset and shocked. People were ringing me about the story and I wasn't prepared to protect my son." When asked if he had spoken to his ex-wife about the claims since the story broke, he said, "She's denying the whole thing." He added that the paternity claims were "mentioned during our relationship, but I always thought it was a crock." The Braveheart star, who has seven children with his wife Robyn, has denied the claims.

Kelley and Heigl Plan Winter Wedding

Singer Josh Kelley and his fiancee Katherine Heigl are planning a winter wonderland theme for their upcoming wedding. Kelley, 26, popped the question to the Grey's Anatomy star, 28, in June with a three-carat pear-shaped diamond engagement ring. The singer approves of the winter theme, telling American publication saying, "It was Katherine's first idea. Once she started talking about it and what it would look like, I was set." Heigl adds, "Maybe some horses, sleigh bells. My sister is getting married this coming October so we're doing that one first and planning hers. I get to kind of learn that way!"

Make-Up Artist D'Amore and Husband Found Dead

Emmy award winning make-up artist Hallie D'Amore and her photographer husband Richard were found dead on Friday at their home in Venice, California. Hallie D'Amore, 64, who was nominated for an Academy Award in 1995 for her work on Forrest Gump, apparently shot her husband Richard, 66, multiple times before turning the gun on herself. Investigators said they did not know what drove her to kill her husband and herself, but said the two, who recently celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary, were having marital problems. Hallie D'Amore won an Emmy award for the HBO made-for-TV movie Normal in 2003 and was nominated for 1995's Buffalo Girls and 1993's Gypsy. Richard D'Amore was known for his moody landscapes, nudes and architectural photographs, which caught the eye of Hollywood celebrities including Michelle Pfeiffer, Ted Danson and Rob Lowe, among others. Captain Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County Coroner's office said police found a note, but were unsure whether it was a suicide note. Police believe the shooting occurred on Thursday and the couple were found the next day by one of their co-workers.
