Anderson Files for Divorce

Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from husband Kid Rock after less than four months of marriage. The couple married in a lavish "celebration ceremony" aboard a yacht moored off St Tropez, France on July 29, but made it official when they returned to the US and wed at the Beverly Hills Courthouse. Anderson, 39, has hired famed celebrity divorce lawyer Neal Hersh, whose clients include Kim Basinger, Halle Berry, Drew Barrymore and Denise Richards, and cites irreconcilable differences. Anderson's representative Tracy Nguyen tells American publication People, "Pamela filed for divorce last week. It wasn't a happy Thanksgiving." Earlier this month, Anderson miscarried what would have been her and Rock's first child together. She has two children - Dylan, eight, and Brandon, ten - from her marriage to rocker Tommy Lee. According to entertainment website Tmz.com, the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, but because they were married for such a short time, it probably will have little impact on the divorce proceedings. Anderson is currently in Vancouver, Canada filming Blonde And Blonder with Denise Richards.

Comedy Club Bosses Demand Richards Pay Up

Bosses at the Los Angeles comedy club where former Seinfeld star Michael Richards shocked fans with a racist rant have demanded the comedian pay $1 million to charity for every one of the 'N' words he used on stage. Richards has been banned from The Laugh Factory for repeatedly calling two African-American hecklers "n**gers" during a foul-mouthed rant onstage there earlier this month. The comedy club bosses now want him to pay for his ill-advised remarks. The comedian has publicly apologized for his comments and appeared on African-American civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson's radio show Keep Hope Alive on Sunday in an effort to make amends. But, according to TV news show The Insider, The Laugh Factory owners, who have now banned the 'N' word from the venue, want Richards to pay $6 million to charity for the six derogatory words he used on their stage. Richards, who claims to be seeing a psychiatrist in an effort to control his rage problems, is hoping to meet with the two African-Americans he racially abused from The Laugh Factory stage.

Duff and Madden Split?

Hilary Duff and Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden have ended their relationship, according to media reports in the US. Madden made a guest DJ appearance at Chicago, Illinois club Enclave on Wednesday night and openly talked about his newly-single status. According to the Chicago Tribune, Madden told fellow clubbers Duff broke up with him about ten days ago. He cited their eight-year age difference as the source of the problems in their relationship. Duff is 19, while Madden is 27. The singer didn't seem to let the split get to him - he was seen mingling and taking pictures with ladies until the early hours of the morning. Last month, the pair filed for a restraining order against two men, alleging they were stalking the teen singer/actress.

Fighting Fawcett Stays Busy Amid Cancer Battle

Farrah Fawcett is fighting her battle with cancer by revisiting her 1997 Playboy pictorial. The ailing former Charlie's Angels star is offering fans a Christmas treat - and proving she's still active as she battles for the disease. Fawcett is re-releasing her All Of Me DVD, a hard-to-find documentary that follows the actress behind the scenes of her best-selling Playboy spread. Her publicist Mike Pingel says, "Farrah revisited her archives to offer fans another chance to get this rare film. If nothing else, it proves she's still active and still working. Her cancer isn't as dire as the tabloids would have you believe. Her prognosis is 100 percent recovery." The new DVD is being offered via the actress' official website FarrahFawcett.us.

Spears and Hilton Form Close Bond

Britney Spears and Paris Hilton have become so close since the pop superstar filed for divorce from Kevin Federline the two are now like sisters, according to Hilton's representative. The party pair have frequently been spotted out on the town over the past several weeks and according to Hilton's spokesman Elliot Mintz it's more than just a passing fancy. He tells entertainment website Tmz.com the two are "really forming a bond" and that they're "becoming like sisters." Mintz claims 24-year-old Spears "looks up" to 25-year-old Hilton and that she's "extremely grateful" the socialite has taken her under her wing. Mintz says Spears' sexy new style, which consists of wearing barely-there skirts and cleavage-baring tops, has been "inspired" by Hilton. Downplaying reports of a fight between Hilton and Lindsay Lohan over the weekend, Mintz claims the three women have, in fact, created an alliance. He adds, "What I've observed is that we have three extraordinarily powerful women who generate a tremendous amount of attention, money and adulation and they're tired of other people trying to ride on their coattails and creating false drama."

Williams Mocks Bush Over Global Warming

The Fisher King star Robin Williams has hit out at President George W. Bush for refusing to accept global warming is a reality. The One Hour Photo actor - currently voicing a penguin in animated movie Happy Feet - is angry Bush has failed to sign the Kyoto Treaty to cut harmful emissions, and he accuses the American leader of being in denial. Speaking at the Happy Feet UK premiere in Leicester Square, London on Sunday night, Williams says, "There is global warming. I know our president doesn't agree. (Bush thinks) 'Global Warming. Oh just go inside for a bit.'"

Judd Doing "Good" After Depression

Hollywood star Ashley Judd has praised her husband for helping her to overcome a bout of depression earlier this year. The Kiss The Girls actress checked into the Shades Of Hope Treatment Centre in Buffalo Gap, Texas in February while suffering from depression and an eating disorder, and completed a 47-day program to aid her recovery. She's now confident she's beaten the illness, saying, "I have so many more tools now. My self-care is really good." And she thanks her husband, racing driver Dario Franchitti, for standing by her during the treatment: "He is so supportive in just the right way. Pitch-perfect." The actress will next be seen onscreen in Come Early Morning.

Streisand Smashes Box Office Records with US Tour

Barbra Streisand is back in the record books after setting new theatre bests at 14 of the 16 venues she played during her recent North American tour. The singer's 20 shows, which wrapped up in Los Angeles last week grossed a staggering $92.5 million and set records in almost all of the arenas she played. And the only person who beat her at Madison Square Garden in New York and Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena was herself. Producer Michael Cohl insists the tour was such a success, he's in negotiations with Streisand to plan more dates in 2007. He says, "We're talking about it. From the stage in Los Angeles she said that she's thinking of going to Europe and the Far East, so here's hoping it happens."
