Jolie Bodyguards Arrested After School Fracas

Three bodyguards protecting Angelina Jolie were arrested on Thursday after being accused of "roughing up" children and parents at an Indian school during shooting for new movie A Mighty Heart. The three men have been charged with "insult to religion and threatening to kill" following the incident at the Anjuman-e-Islam school in Mumbai (Bombay). Filming went smoothly until the school gates were opened to allow parents to collect their children, and paparazzi and television crews rushed through the gates to get a shot of Jolie. Mohammed Yusuf Patni, general secretary of the school's Parent Teacher Association, says, "Jolie's bodyguard called one parent, 'You bloody Indian.' Children were pushed around. Mothers were also shoved aside by the guards." However, a statement from Dallington TV, which organized the shoot, reads, "We had the full permission and cooperation of the school to film on the premises. When the gates were opened to allow the parents in to collect their children, the paparazzi rushed the school causing confusion." This is not the first time security staff protecting Jolie, Brad Pitt and their three children have caused controversy since their arrival in India last month. An Associated Press photographer claimed he was punched and threatened with a gun on the A Mighty Heart set last month, and another photographer was allegedly attacked outside Jolie's hotel in Pune just days earlier.
