Arrest Warrant Issued for Bobby Brown

An arrest warrant has been issued for Bobby Brown after he failed to show up for a hearing regarding delinquent child support payments in Boston, Massachusetts on Monday. Kim Ward, the mother of the singer's teenage daughter La Princia and son Bobby Jr., claims Brown owes her two months' support for the children amounting to $11,000. Brown also has one daughter with his estranged wife Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina, and an older son, Landon, with another woman. In June 2004, the R&B star was sentenced to 90 days in prison for missing three months of payments, though the sentence was suspended after Brown made a $15,000 payment. The delinquent child support payments are the latest in Brown's legal troubles - just last month, Houston filed for a legal separation in Los Angeles after 14 years of marriage. Brown's Atlanta, Georgia-based lawyer Phaedra Parks, tried to use his impending divorce to help his case saying, "The media is very aware of this very public divorce that's going on right now. It's unfortunate we find ourselves in Boston on this matter." Norfolk Probate and Family Court Judge Paula Carey slammed the explanation saying, "Whether or not he's going through a divorce doesn't negate the fact that he still owes child support relative to his two children that he had prior to his marriage."
Clooney To Date Everyone To End Paparazzi Reign

Hollywood superstar George Clooney is so desperate to bring paparazzi culture to an end, he plans to start dating as many A-list beauties as possible. The single actor/director admits his carefully thought out plan might not be entirely plausible, but believes it would soon change public perception of celebrity gossip. He says, "Here is my theory in debunking photographs in magazines. You know, the paparazzi photographs. I want to spend every single night for three months going out with a different famous actress. You know, Halle Berry one night, Salma Hayek the next, and then walk on the beach holding hands with Leonardo DiCaprio. People would still buy the magazines, they'd still buy the pictures, but they would always go, 'I don't know if these guys are putting us on or not.'"
Williams' "Wake-Up Call" From Gibson

Troubled actor Robin Williams was inspired to check into rehab when he saw how graciously Mel Gibson sought help after his drink-fuelled fall from grace in July. The Good Will Hunting star announced he was seeking treatment for alcoholism less than two weeks after Gibson's arrest for drink-driving. In an interview to be aired today on US TV show Access Hollywood, Williams describes the Gibson saga as a "big wake-up call." He explains, "Well, if (rehab) was good enough for him, I'll go. If you're violating your standards faster than you can lower them, (it's) time to go away."
George Michael: "I Don't Have a Drug Problem"

British pop star George Michael insists he doesn't have a drug problem, despite being arrested for alleged marijuana possession for the second time in a year on Sunday. The former Wham! singer, 43, was found asleep at the wheel on his car at an intersection in north London in the early hours of Sunday morning and was taken to a nearby hospital by concerned police officers. After being given the all-clear by doctors, Michael returned to Colindale police station, where he was booked on suspicion of being unfit to drive and drug possession before being released on bail until November. Earlier this year, the singer was cautioned after he was found slumped in his car in central London and was found to be in possession of marijuana. Despite his arrests, Michael insists he doesn't have a drug problem, saying, "That's the second time in a ear I've been caught with one unused spliff in the car. I had no drink or drugs in my body. I haven't got a problem with drugs."
Photojournalist Launches Anna Nicole Smith Paternity Lawsuit

The photojournalist claiming to be the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby daughter has filed court papers to establish paternity and obtain legal custody of the child. After learning Smith's longtime attorney Howard K. Stern, who she wed in a "spiritual ceremony" last Thursday, is also claiming to be the father of baby Dannilynn, Larry Birkhead today decided to launch his paternity battle in California. Birkhead tells TV show The Insider, "There's no doubt in my mind that I want to resolve this and that's the only way it's going to happen." Dannilynn was born in the Bahamas on September 7. Smith's 20-year-old son Daniel Smith died three days later from a combination of two anti-depressants and methadone in the hospital where his mother had given birth to his half-sister.
Jackson and Timberlake To Reunite?

Pop stars Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake are planning to reunite on national TV for the first time since their disastrous performance at the Super Bowl, according to press reports in the US. The pair have barely spoken to each other since the infamous breast-baring incident in 2004 when Jackson's nipple was exposed to millions of viewers during a performance of Timberlake's hit "Rock Your Body." The half-time show received worldwide ridicule and cost US network CBS $550,000 in indecency fines. Sources close to Jackson say she is in talks with Timberlake's people to appear together in "some sort of big, live show like the Grammys or the Oscars" as the ultimate publicity stunt. The source tells New York Post's Page Six a reunion "will help re-boost the sales of their albums." Jackson has just released 20 YO, while Timberlake is currently promoting Futuresex/Lovesounds.
'A Chorus Line' Dancers: "We Signed Our Lives Away"

The dancers who inspired A Chorus Line are fuming because they won't receive royalties from the forthcoming Broadway revival of the musical. A Chorus Line has grossed $280 million worldwide, and the original production was the longest-running show in Broadway history. Its origins lie in a late-night gathering at a rehearsal studio in Manhattan in January 1974, where choreographer Michael Bennett invited 19 of Broadway's best dancers to talk about their lives. The dancers spent more than 12 hours sharing their experiences, and these memories form the basis of the show. Bennett later arranged to split a portion of the box office takings and royalties with them, but these royalty agreements apply only to the original production - and not a revival. Wayne Cilento, one of the dancers, claims, "When we were young and stupid, we kind of signed our lives away, and they exploited that. We were the authors of the show and we should have been paid accordingly." John Breglio, executor of Bennett's estate, says the dancers will have to negotiate with the heirs to the Bennett estate if they wish to claim royalties from the new production.
Historians Blast Dunst's Marie Antoinette

Actress Kirsten Dunst has come under fire from historians for her "frightful" interpretation of tragic French queen Marie Antoinette. Dunst plays the 18th Century monarch in Sofia Coppola's racy new biopic, which was booed by critics at this year's Cannes Film Festival. Now her overtly sexual performance has been attacked by France's Marie Antoinette Association as well, who insists the queen's bedroom antics are not factually based. The association's president Michele Lorin says, "I've seen the trailer for the film on the internet. It is a fright. We've spent years trying to convince people that the queen was not just a libertine who told the starving to eat cake. What do you see on the trailer? You see Marie Antoinette eating cake. You see her lying naked on a chaise longue. I fear the film is going to set us back many years." However, Dunst retorts the movie should not be taken too seriously. She says, "It's kind of like a history of feelings rather than a history of facts. So don't expect a masterpiece theatre, educational Marie Antoinette biopic."

This is the third child for Garth, 34 and Facinelli, 32. The couple, who wed in January 2001, are also parents to daughters Luca Bella, nine, and Lola Ray, three. Garth is currently starring in the sitcom What I Like About You. Facinelli starred on the TV show Fastlane and had a recurring role as Jimmy on Six Feet Under.
Stewart Denies Hip Operation

Domestic guru Martha Stewart has hit out at claims she's in need of a new hip. The lifestyle queen recently injured her joint and had gossip columnists speculating the 65-year-old would undergo surgery for a new hip next summer, after the current season of her daytime TV show Martha had finished. However, a spokeswoman for Stewart insists the injury has been hugely exaggerated. She tells the New York Daily News, "There are no plans for surgery. She has a torn muscle, and she's waiting for it to heal."
