Simpson and Mayer Dating
Jessica Simpson has found love with fellow music star John Mayer, according to press reports. Simpson is in New York City to promote her new album A Public Affair, but has been forced to cancel her media appearances because she has laryngitis. Strangely enough, Maher is also suffering from laryngitis and was forced to cancel a concert on Saturday night in Connecticut, where he was headlining with Sheryl Crow. According to Us Weekly, Simpson spoke to the magazine about the relationship, saying that Mayer was great and that she wanted to "keep it private". Simpson recently revealed during a Texas radio interview that she had already heard Mayer's new album Continuum, which is not due in stores until 12 September. Mayer lives in New York City and Simpson will reportedly attend his concert tonight in Jones Beach, New York. A source confirms the relationship adding, "She's tiptoeing back into the dating world. It's the first stage. She's never been happier."
Swank Finds Love with Top Agent

Oscar winner Hilary Swank has found love again with top Hollywood agent John Campisi, according to reports. The actress split from husband Chad Lowe last year and filed for divorce earlier this year, but she isn't planning on being single for long if romantic pictures of Swank in Rome, Italy are anything to go by. According to Life & Style, the man romancing Swank on holiday in Italy is Creative Artists Agency boss Campisi. The couple was spotted kissing and holding hands while taking in the romantic sights of Rome on August 27. Despite the photographic evidence, Campisi is adamant his relationship with the actress is all about business and friendship. His lawyers state, "Mr Campisi has a strictly platonic relationship with Ms. Swank." An insider tells Life & Style that Campisi has been helping Swank through her heartache and the two are more than friends. One pal says, "Hilary cried on his shoulder when she and Chad split. He comforted her through that intensely difficult period." Campisi was Swank's date to the Academy Awards in March and the couple has been together ever since.
Mendes Strips for Flaunt

Sexy Eva Mendes has bared all for a racy new photospread in style magazine Flaunt. The actress has resisted offers from Playboy, but she stripped for photographer Don Flood's spread and pull-out poster, which comes complete with her full-lip imprint and signature. But Mendes isn't exactly revealing everything in the spread - for most of the shots she's clothed or wearing a sexy black basque, and in shots where she's naked, only her back and bottom are exposed as she covers her breasts and cheekily looks over her shoulder. She says, "I actually did a little nude shot. You won't see anything. I was covering myself... but I love Flaunt. I think their artwork is some of the best artwork out there as far as photography is concerned, so I took it off. "I felt really comfortable. It was fun. There's something really liberating about it. "The last couple of years I've shied away from taking photos, even in a bikini, because I was like, 'No, no, no. I don't want to be that girl.'"
Stone Confirms Adoption
Hollywood beauty Sharon Stone has confirmed reports she has adopted a third son. The Basic Instinct beauty, 48, is already adoptive mother to Roan Joseph, six, and Laird Vonne, 15 months. In June, Stone took steps to be the legal mother of newborn baby Quinn, but finally confirmed her family addition to Extra this week.
Spears Registers for Posh Baby Presents
Britney Spears has registered for thousands of dollars worth of pricey baby gifts at a Los Angeles boutique - including a $1,200 baby chandelier. Posh store Petit Tresor is a favorite with celebrity moms and Spears has reportedly registered on the shop's website. A source confirms to MSNBC, "She's having a baby shower soon and has told friends that they can order gifts from the site. It's not like she's expecting her friends to buy everything for the baby. She's already spent, like, $30,000 at the store." The pregnant pop star's registry strongly suggests she's expecting a baby girl because of the predominately pink and frilly merchandise selected.
Voight Makes Embarrassing Granddaughter Gaffe
Jon Voight has been desperately trying to repair his relationship with estranged daughter Angelina Jolie by publicly requesting to see his grandchildren, but may have further hampered their relationship by mistakenly calling his granddaughter Shakira instead of Zahara. The veteran actor was caught on tape at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Tea Party on Saturday, where he was doing interviews on the red carpet. Entertainment news website Tmz.com has posted footage of Voight sending birthday wishes to his grandson Maddox saying, "Maddox just had a birthday. Happy birthday, Maddox! Five years old - it's a big one! You're going to be a young man, and I send my love out to you. And send my love to...uh...Shakira...and Shahira..." The befuddled grandfather then asked the reporter, 'Is it Shakira or Shahira?' apparently confusing the one-and-a-half-year-old tot for the 29-year-old Colombian Hips Don't Lie bombshell. When the reporter replied that the correct name of Angelina and Brad Pitt's adopted daughter was Zahara, the confused Voight added, "Shahara! Shahara!" The couple's other daughter Shiloh Nouvel, who is three months old, failed to get a mention. Jolie and her father haven't spoken since he went on Access Hollywood four years ago, urging his daughter to get help for her "mental problems".
'Viva la Bam' Star Released on Bail
TV stuntman Bam Margera's uncle, Don Vito, has been told he must check in with a Colorado court twice a week and stay away from kids as he awaits a sexual assault hearing. The chubby prankster, real name Vincent Margera, is charged with two counts of sexual assault on a child and faces trial at the end of October. A Colorado judge ruled on Monday that Margera could leave the state and return home to Pennsylvania - as long as he adhered to conditions set by his bail. Margera, a regular on his nephew's wacky Viva La Bam TV show, posted $50,000 bail and must be supervised during his release, during which he needs to check in with pretrial services officers twice a week. He is not allowed to have any contact with children younger than 18, cannot consume any drugs or alcohol and will be subject to random urine tests. Margera, 50, was arrested earlier this month after allegedly inappropriately fondling two underage girls during two separate incidents at a signing event at a skatepark in Colorado. He has hired attorney Pamela Mackey, who represented Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant in his 2004 sexual assault case in Colorado.
Tom Arnold and Third Wife Separate
True Lies star Tom Arnold filed for a legal separation from his wife Shelby Roos on Monday, after four years of marriage. The actor filed for a legal separation, which involves a permanent division of assets, rather than a divorce. His spokeswoman Staci Wolfe tells People, "He doesn't know what the future holds, but he does care deeply for her." Arnold, 47, met Roos, 34, a political consultant, at the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles in 2000. The couple were married at the Four Season Hotel in Beverly Hills on June 29, 2002. In the star's separation documents, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Arnold asks the court to treat the couple's Beverly Hills home, as well as all profits that Arnold had going into the marriage, as his own separate property. Arnold's previous two marriages also ended in divorce - again after four years. He was previously married to Roseanne Barr from 1990 to 1994, and to Julie Champnella from 1995 to 1999.
Fall Out Boy and Manson Record 'Nightmare' Soundtrack
Fall Out Boy and Marilyn Manson are among the stars paying tribute to Tim Burton's classic Halloween movie The Nightmare Before Christmas on a new soundtrack album. The acts have recorded covers of the composer Danny Elfman's macabre tunes for the release of the 3-D version of the animated movie this autumn. The film was first released in 1993 and has become a cult hit, spawning merchandise and memorabilia.
