Timberlake Dumps Diaz?

Cameron Diaz is reportedly "devastated" after being dumped by her longtime love Justin Timberlake last week, according to media reports in the US. Veteran Hollywood reporter Janet Charlton claims the pop star broke the news to Diaz just as she was about to leave Los Angeles to film some additional scenes for her latest movie. She explains, "Justin is poised to leave on a world tour and he wants to be free." A source tells Charlton, "Cameron is ready to settle down and wants a commitment, even though she might not admit it. Justin is only 24 and he's been with Cameron for three years. He hasn't had a chance to sow his wild oats yet."

Kidman Visits Children's Hospital On Eve of Wedding

Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman shocked medical staff when she paid a surprise visit to a children's hospital in Sydney, Australia, ahead of her wedding to Keith Urban in the city on Sunday. The Hours star, took her children Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11, and mother Janelle with her to the Sydney Children's Hospital, where they saw patients in the oncology, hematology and neurology wards. Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation CEO Elizabeth Crundall says, "I was stunned she came in today. To actually take the time out from her own wedding for a couple of hours was stunning, extraordinary and wonderful."

McPhee Cancels Public Appearances

American Idol finalist Katharine McPhee cancelled all press appearances yesterday, a day after admitting she had battled an eating disorder. The runner-up was scheduled to appear with other Idol contestants for press interviews, but the "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" singer was a no-show. McPhee went public with her battle with bulimia in the latest edition of American magazine People. The 22-year-old was also scheduled to be interviewed by several US entertainment TV shows, but cancelled at the last minute without explanation.

Filmmaker Challenges Critics to All-Out Brawl

German horror director Uwe Boll is so fed up with receiving bad reviews from movie critics he is challenging his detractors to a filmed fight. Boll, whose movies Alone In The Dark and House Of The Dead are based on video games, says he will fly his critics to meet him and will then fight them in a boxing ring. The filmmaker is incensed by an online petition which has 13,327 signatures of people asking him to stop making movies. Boll, who has also invited Roger Avary and Quentin Tarantino to join his fight, plans to air the fights on the internet. He the plans to edit clips into his latest film Postal. Boll says, "I'm fed up with people slamming my films without seeing them. Many journalists make value judgments on my films based on the opinions of one or two thousand internet voices. Half of those opinions come from people who've never watched my films. If critics want to bring Uwe Boll down, here is their chance to physically bring him down and have the entire world watch them do it."

Jolie and Pitt Paparazzo Arrested

A photographer was arrested yesterday after allegedly scaling a fence at a day care centre that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son Maddox was attending. Clint Brewer reportedly jumped the fence just before 10:30am and staff from the Malibu, California centre made a citizen's arrest for trespassing. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department dispatched deputies and took Brewer, 24, to the Lost Hills police station, according to website TMZ.com. The photographer is currently being held on $1,000 bail. The celebrity couple and their children recently returned to Malibu from Namibia after the birth of their daughter Shiloh. Four-year-old Maddox was never in danger, according to TMZ.com.

Locklear and Spade Deny Romance Reports

Heather Locklear and David Spade have laughed off rumors they are dating, despite recently wowing diners in West Hollywood by "kissing like a couple of teens." The pair were first spotted in a romantic clinch soon after the actress filed for divorce from Richie Sambora at an afterparty for Spade's The Showbiz Show. And although they have also been seen frolicking on Malibu Beach together and sharing dinner dates, a pal of the pair insists they were just "goofing off." A friend of Locklear's said, "Heather and David were just goofing off; the whole thing was blown out of proportion. They were joking around and hamming it up, and the next thing you know, people are saying they're together."

Hoffman and O'Donnell Expecting

Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and his longtime girlfriend Mimi O'Donnell are expecting their second child together according to media reports in the US. O'Donnell is reportedly four months along and the baby is due in November according to Us Weekly. The couple also has a son Cooper, who is three-years-old. The pair met in 1999 when O'Donnell was in charge of costume design for the play In Arabia We'd All Be Kings, which Hoffman was directing. Hoffman, who won a Best Actor Oscar for Capote earlier this year, was most recently seen onscreen as the villain in Mission: Impossible III.

Eminem Goes Private with Divorce

Rap star Eminem has continued divorce proceedings with his estranged wife Kimberley Mathers in a private hearing yesterday - during which Mathers was reportedly seen being escorted from the courthouse by a sheriff's deputy. Mathers is seeking financial support, attorney fees and joint custody of the couple's 10-year-old daughter, Hailie. Eminem, real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III, was present for the hour-long meeting before Court Referee David Elias, court officer Mark Mileski said. Neither of the couple's representatives were available for comment. Eminem, 33, filed for divorce in April - just 82 days after they remarried in January. Their first marriage lasted from 1999 to 2001. A meeting to discuss a potential settlement is scheduled for September.

Hogan Moving to Miami Beach

Wrestler-turned-actor Hulk Hogan has put his luxurious Tampa, Florida, mansion up for sale to settle with his family on Miami Beach - as the new location is better for his kids to pursue their acting dreams. Hogan - real name Terry Bollea - his wife Linda, and children Brooke, 18, and Nick, 15, moved into their new $12 million estate last month, and their Tampa mansion has been put on the market for $25 million. He says, "I've got to downscale. We'll head toward Miami like the Beverly Hillbillies."

Spears Debuts New Hairstyle

Pop star Britney Spears is sporting a new look after being spotted in New York City with jet black hair. The "Toxic" singer was photographed in the city's East Village on Thursday with her baby Sean Preston. Some experts advise against using hair dye while pregnant, but it is not known if Spear's new look is a wig or her real hair.
