Willis Fights Off Reports He Injured Photographer

Bruce Willis is fighting off claims he beat up a photographer in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, insisting he was simply shielding his eyes from flashbulbs when he accidentally made contact with a paparazzo. But snapper Anthony Goodrich insists Willis pushed his camera into his face and chipped his tooth as he exited celebrity restaurant Koi. And, while Willis' publicist is playing down the incident on website TMZ.com, the photographer insists he was injured enough to check into hospital. He also filed a police report against the actor, alleging battery. Goodrich tells Tmz.com, "He smashed my camera into my face... All I was doing was taking his picture. I didn't say one word. I didn't get in his way." Willis' spokesman Paul Bloch claims Willis put his hand up "to protect himself" because he was "blinded by the lights" from photographers. Bloch insists that at no time did Willis "hit, push, or hurt" anyone.

Moore and Braff Break Up

Scrubs star Zach Braff and Mandy Moore have ended their relationship, according to media reports in the US. The couple have reportedly gone their separate ways, mainly due to the nine-year age gap between them. Us Weekly West Coast Editor Ian Drew says, "They both decided that after two years, Mandy was a little young. Zach was ready for something different and they wanted to just kind of test the waters a little bit. It was an amicable break." A source tells the American magazine, "Mandy was very young when they got together and she wanted to see what's out there, now that she's a woman. Zach was mature and realized it is time to let her do that." The pair have been tight-lipped about their relationship, but the 22-year-old singer launched a scathing attack on tabloid journalists earlier this week, who reported on the rumored break-up. She wrote on her website, "I believe that personal issues (like this one) should be kept private. This sort of unscrupulous conduct should be unethical for the media to practice and I'm sickened by the extent that these people are willing to go to make a name for themselves." The 31-year-old Garden State star has wasted no time moving on, he was recently seen partying with pals at Hollywood hot spot Hyde on June 8 and unsuccessfully romancing Jessica Simpson.

'Sopranos' Stars Warn "Pay Raise or We're Off"

Cast members of hit mafia series The Sopranos are demanding higher salaries after the show's bosses secured a string of lucrative rerun rights and staggering DVD sales. Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who plays Meadow, Robert Iler, who plays A.J., Steven Schirripa, who plays Bobby Bacala, Steven Van Zandt, who plays Silvio Dante, Lorraine Bracco, who plays Dr. Melfi, and Tony Sirico, who plays Paulie 'Walnuts', are all demanding a substantial raise before signing up for the final season, set to begin next month. They've reportedly threatened to walk out unless their wages more than double. However, network HBO is only offering a fraction of their demands, and may be forced to write characters out of the series if they don't settle. A source tells the New York Post, "It's coming down to the wire. HBO just doesn't want to pay. No one has deals and they're very far apart. (Show creator) David Chase has tried to help the actors, but even his pleas have fallen on deaf ears. The guys want (a new deal) to happen. These are the last eight episodes, and the money is going to be coming in for HBO for years to come. But the actors get no residuals - and they want to be compensated. They're being treated like dog s**t." An HBO spokesman refused to comment on the pay reports.

Witherspoon and Phillippe Expecting Baby Number Three?

Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon and husband Ryan Phillippe are expecting their third child, according to media reports in the US. The Walk The Line star sparked rumors she was expecting last month, when she appeared on a Malibu, California beach with her daughter Ava sporting what looked like a baby bump. A source tells American publication Star, "She was wearing what looked like an old-fashioned 1920s-style bathing suit that covered her tummy. But you could still see the outline of what appeared to be at least a four-month baby bump." The 30-year-old has also been seen at trendy Babystyle boutique in Santa Monica, California on three separate occasions and has been photographed wearing loose fitting clothes. The source adds, "She's a very private person, and doesn't often talk about it when she is pregnant." Witherspoon and Phillipe already have two children, Ava, six, and Deacon, two, and have made no secret of their love of kids. The actress told Vogue magazine, "We both love children so much. I wouldn't want this life without children."

Baldwin Blasts Psychological Evaluation Story

Alec Baldwin has slammed a news wire item that makes him out to be in need of a psychological evaluation. The report claimed the actor had to face a detailed psychological examination to have any chance of winning extra custody of his daughter Ireland in his continuing court battle with ex-wife Kim Basinger. But Baldwin insists the story is inaccurate because both he and Basinger have been told to take the examination. In a statement he says, "It was incomplete as well as misleading... to report that I, alone, was ordered to be evaluated. All of the parties in such a dynamic are evaluated." Baldwin has reportedly been given one week to accept his court-appointed psychologist or plead for another by Superior Court Commissioner Maren E. Nelson.

Spears in Diaper Drama

Britney Spears stunned shoppers and staff at a Victoria's Secret lingerie shop last week, when she changed her son's diaper on the store's dirty floor. The Toxic singer was shopping at the shop in Mission Viejo, California, on June 4, where she purchased some pink g-stings with eight-month-old son Sean Preston in tow. The tot needed to have his diaper changed and the 24-year-old plopped him down on the floor next to the cash register. A shocked sales associate recalls, "We don't have the cleanest floors. She just put him down and changed his diaper and then handed it to a sales clerk saying, 'Can you throw this away for us?' We told her that we couldn't put that in our trash." Spears' parenting skills have been questioned several times this year - in February she received a visit from the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) after she was photographed driving with her son seated on her lap. In April, Sean Preston was briefly admitted to hospital after he fell from a faulty high-chair while in the care of his former nanny, and last month Spears defended herself again after the baby was spotted slumped in the back of her car.

Lopez Wedding Thief Pleads Guilty

The man accused of stealing Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's wedding video has pleaded guilty in court yesterday of attempted grand larceny. Tito Moses, one of two men who tried to negotiate a $1 million ransom from the celebrity couple, was promised a more lenient sentence of one-and-a-half to three years behind bars by Manhattan's state Supreme Court for his admission of guilt. Moses and his accomplice were caught when a "rep" for Lopez and Anthony turned out to be an undercover cop. They stole the couple's June 2004 wedding video from a laptop computer in Anthony's Cadillac Escalade in October 2005. Moses is still awaiting sentencing in New Jersey for the car theft. Steven Wortman, Moses' alleged partner in crime, has pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy, attempted grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. His case is pending.

Madonna Teaming Up with Lohan?

Madonna and Lindsay Lohan are planning an unlikely duet, according to US reports. The odd couple have reportedly become new best friends due to their links to Kabbalah, and now they're in secret talks to record a tune together, according to America's In Touch magazine. And, according to insiders, the couple also plan to appear in a movie together. A source says, "They're helping each other. Madonna's giving Lindsay advice on her music career, and she wants to work on a film with Madonna too." The insider also tells the publication that Madonna and Lohan are planning a trip to Israel together once the Material Girl's Confessions world tour is over.

Duff Slams New York Times Critic

Hilary Duff has issued a stinging response to the New York Times movie critic who described her acting as "talent-challenged." Stephen Holden has consistently slammed Duff's teen comedy movies and singled out her performances particularly. But Duff insists she isn't making movies for New York Times readers. She tells Elle magazine, "He doesn't really fit the demographic. So I could really care less. Look at me, and look at where he is - sorry! Would he prefer that I take some super-adult role that is inappropriate so I would have no place to grow? Suppose the next thing I did was this super-edgy independent movie where I was pregnant or shooting up. What would that do to my fanbase?"

De Niro To Produce Elliott Biopic

Robert De Niro is producing a film based on the life of rapper Missy Elliott. The Oscar-winning actor's New York City-based Tribeca Films has snapped up the rights to the film, along with Elliott's manager, Mona Scott. The 34-year-old rapper will be working with her manager and writer Dianne Houston to help create the script. Elliott began her musical career with the girl group Sista before branching out into solo projects and producing.
