Her manager/father Joe has since blasted the comic for his insensitivity. But now all is well - Lopez sent Simpson a huge bouquet of flowers on Friday to apologise for his remarks, according to the singer's father.

Khan maintains his innocence and his lawyer Dipesh Mehta is keen to cross-examine Patil when the trial resumes on January 19. Mehta tells the Times Of India, "We shall grill Patil on January 19 and seek to demolish his claim about cautioning Salman."
