Crowe To Be a Dad Again

Actor Russell Crowe confirmed reports his wife Danielle Spencer is expecting their second child, at a concert on Saturday . The Gladiator star, 41, and singer/actress Spencer, 35, already have a two-year-old son Charles and have been married for just under three years. Reports emerged last month that Spencer was pregnant again, with the couple's publicist refusing to confirm or deny the rumours. However, now Spencer has passed her first trimester, delighted daddy Crowe was proud to share the news with 500 fans at his band's The Ordinary Fear Of God gig at the Coffs Hotel in Coffs Harbour in New South Wales, Australia. The new addition to the family is expected in July.

Good Will Hunting Oscar winner Matt Damon and his wife Luciana are expecting a baby girl, the actor has revealed. Damon, who married in secret last month, confirmed the news to reporters in the Dominican Republic, where he is shooting new movie The Good Shepherd with Angelina Jolie and Robert De Niro. When quizzed about his four-month pregnant wife, Damon replied in Spanish, "It will be a girl," according to local newspaper El Caribe. Argentina-born Luciana has been teaching Damon Spanish.

Brittany Murphy is planning another wedding after getting engaged to boyfriend Joe Macaluso. The actress accepted the young producer's proposal over Christmas and is now reportedly sporting a Tiffany diamond on her ring finger. The couple met when Murphy was shooting the 2004 romantic comedy Little Black Book, on which Macaluso was working as a production assistant. The actress ended her engagement to Jeff Kwatinetz in 2004.

'Beethoven' Child Star Missing
Former child star Joe Pichler is feared dead after his car was discovered containing a suicidal note, on Bainbridge Island, Washington, last Tuesday. The Beethoven's 3rd actor's vehicle was found parked at an intersection above a slender stretch of water called Port Madison Narrows. The former actor, now aged 18, abandoned Hollywood in 2002 to return to his hometown of Bremerton, Washington. The letter expressed his desires to be a "stronger brother" but also asked for his belongings to be bestowed upon his younger sibling. Pichler's mother Kathy says, "We always kept him really grounded. He's always been a regular kid with a job a teenager wouldn't normally have." Kathy is keen to express her gratitude to the 150 citizens who formed a search party on Saturday and thanks the emergency services for their continued support: "I don't know how we're going to thank all these people."

Thompson Keeps Oscars in the Bathroom
Emma Thompson keeps her two Oscars in her bathroom because she is embarrassed to show them off in a more prominent position in her home. The 46-year-old won the Best Actress Academy Award in 1993 for her role in Howards End and a Best Screenplay statuette for her 1996 Sense And Sensibility script, adapted from Jane Austen's classic novel. She says, "They look far too outre anywhere else. They're great big, gold, shiny things. They're up there tarnishing quietly along with everything else I own, including my body."
Lopez Says Sorry To Simpson with Flowers

Singer Jessica Simpson has received a bouquet of flowers from comedian George Lopez as an apology for embarrassing her at the People's Choice Awards last week. The Latino comic was criticised for poking fun at Simpson's marriage split with Nick Lachey at the event, when he said, "The producers wanted to apologise to Nick Lachey, who could not be here because they didn't need any more seat-fillers," before presenting an award. TV cameras fixed on sullen Simpson as she squirmed in her seat between her parents. Her manager/father Joe has since blasted the comic for his insensitivity. But now all is well - Lopez sent Simpson a huge bouquet of flowers on Friday to apologise for his remarks, according to the singer's father.
Bollywood Star Betrayed By His Bodyguard in Court
Lawyers trying to put Bollywood star Salman Khan behind bars for an alleged hit-and-run incident in Mumbai, India, have been given a boost from the actor's bodyguard. Ravindra Patil, who was travelling with Khan when he crashed into a bakery in September 2002, told a court in Bandra on Friday that the actor was driving with undue care and attention. The bodyguard claimed in court that he warned Khan to drive more carefully minutes before the tragedy. According to police, Khan killed one person and injured another four before leaving the scene of the accident. Patil contacted the authorities. The actor later surrendered and was arrested by police after a case was registered against him. Khan maintains his innocence and his lawyer Dipesh Mehta is keen to cross-examine Patil when the trial resumes on January 19. Mehta tells the Times Of India, "We shall grill Patil on January 19 and seek to demolish his claim about cautioning Salman."

Hollywood actress Sharon Stone insists rumours of her romantic involvement with Vanessa Williams' ex-husband Rick Fox are untrue. Reports last week claimed the Basic Instinct star, 47 and basketball star Fox, 11 years her junior, are now an item - but she is denying everything. Stone's representative says, "They are absolutely not an item. He is the best friend of one of Sharon's closest friends."
